That was the coolest thing ever! Thank you! Cheap batteries leak so badly these days and I have so many rusted springs that break off. I am super excited to try this and bring some things back to life!!

Since you were able to remove the broken piece of coil and then pigtail in the new one, would you have to Solder the new coil or could you skip the soldering? Thanks for the help.

    Questions:
One: Why did you say beforehand that the radio worked, if the spring wasn't on yet, you didn't know it worked then correct?
Two. After you got it through the hole, did it NEED to be soddered? or was soddering just extra make sure it stays in place?
Three: When soddering do you NEED that gooey stuff or ANYTHING other than the sodder tool? I have a sodder tool from my grandfather but want to know if I could use it plain without anything with it? or is that gooey etc stuff necessary?????
    Thanks!
(I tried to clean a mini handheld game today by the spring & I ended up ripping off the "ribbot" you speak about, getting carried away with my scissor stabbing it, lol. leaving that same very hole! Go figure! I can't get the spring back in place, because it doesn't pick up like yours does, so it's hard to do with a tiny space. No big deal, I'll just give it away to someone but was just curious).
    Thanks!
    PS you have an accent.

Thanks for watching the video. Yes the radio worked plugged in. The gooey stuff is flex that will make the connection better to sodder.

@@YourReviewChannel ohhhhh with the outlet lol gottchya.
you put the goo on the item or the sodder tool?
      & but is it necessary?

First off thank you very much for watching my video. If you look at the video of the spring that was there from the factory with a pigtail was mounted inward.

Avoid the ( DREADFUL , yes , AWFUL LEAKY alkaline batteries ! ) and retrofit with Lithium rechargeable batteries , salvaged from ( Zillions ) of discarded vapes .. you will need to have a suitable charger ( PCB : TP4056 ) and a soldering iron .. do some math as to your correct voltage . ...These cells DO NOT leak ! .. ( tried - n - tested ) ....... DAVE™🛑
