Fixing Missing Camera Battery Cover

Here is a very simple and easiest trick to fix a missing/broken camera battery door. A coin act as a conductor between the batteries therefore creating a connection.
If you have other conductors beside a coin, you can also use them too!

Same here. If you still have the cover attached, you can use tape, but you will need a whole lot of it, and you will need to squeegee the tape with a card or something similar so it desnt slide

Yes Same I have a four slot camera what piece of metal should I use ? Any Ideas could I use two quarter? would they need to be touching to keep the connection

Hi there, Yes you can tape the door back again using the tape, it should work again

Hi there, watchdog time is about the processor issue in the Nikon camera. try restarting the camera for a few times. If cannot, you may want to try to get it checked.

If square batteries, your connections are at the head of the battery, thus you will not need a coin to act as a conductor of electricity. You can just secure it with a tape. Hope it helps

Possible reason is that your battery could be flat, or it could be incorrectly place. Could I know the camera model ?
