thanks for the video, I like it. I also like how open you are with details about the business, telling us numbers to let us understand why it makes sense to do something versus other things that don't make business sense. Your videos are not only fun to watch but really educational at the same time.

This is an example of why I don't openly critique something I know little about. However, I found it interesting regardless to learn about the job and how machines like these work.

Good show of your baler.:) I one time read that in the USA we send enough cans to the landfill each year to build a Boeing 747.

Hey man I know you're going to get a lot of people complaining about how you do things but you do things that makes it work for you you may listen to some people but if you've already got it figured out how it makes it easy for you then you just need to do what you need to do you will get a lot of people on here telling you different ways and different things but if it works the way you're doing it keep doing it that way just my opinion

Everything looks pretty good to me, only improvement II see is adding a small curtain at the start of the incline for the conveyor, that way it will completely stop any over spill on the sides as it will control the height. That way the loader wont have to worry as much about that issue and you will not have to pay someone to go clean up all the cans that spilled over the sides

A lot of yards I sell don’t don’t buy aluminum cans. They said they are to much of a hassle and people slip stuff into them to add weight. I did a clean out for a hoarder house and I filled three of those tote containers with coke cans 😂

Impressive. One question for you....on 10:40 in the trailer the cans look like they are floating at the back it ?????

The thing you didn't figure into your can count. Is that the Budweiser tall cans actually weight more than a regular can.

You missed a great opportunity to get viewer participation. Should have done a “guess how many cans are in this trailer” contest. 😂 300,000+ cans is wild tbh.

I live in a recycle state, 5¢ per can. Is it more money for the consumer to return them to a can recycler store or take them in bulk to a metal recycle facility such as this?

  • @mariushmedias

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be worth running a day or week's worth collection of cans at a time through one of those machines that crushes and makes small (let's say less than a square inch squares) or through one of those machines that flatten things by running through two rollers. There's a lot of empty space in that truck due to the shape of the cans.
I guess this thing that makes pallets eventually compacts the cans so you end up at the same result and larger size would actually be preferred because they lock between each other in the bale.
