Situations are hell for people not in the software, analyst kind of streams. Other engineering streams such as circuit branches, mechanical etc who work in their core industry have to face a lot of struggle from the very beginning. Job opportunities are scarce, the packages are in pennies. Just for reference, just compare the salary of an entry-level position at ISRO or DRDO with the salary offered in software engineering.
The sole purpose is meant to highlight the reality, please don’t put out any hate on any stream

Indian education needs to be change with technology upgradation. But this wont be possible , so other way is change ourselves with technology or reamain happy in core field with less package.
IT CS is just a hype for today as people just see the money 🙂🙂. Future is of nanotechnology.. .....Days are comming budy when these software engineers will be serving companies formed by core people. Even CSE people have to struggle bro. Even Iam a CSE student. But, future is all belong to core engineering. We can make simple stupid softwares but what is it's use if we need to face electricity or energy crises.

thats good software industry growing in India but unfortunetly Civil engineeers and other core branch engineers situation are really poor,particulary for civil engineers salary is so less that labour are earning more than civil engineers,lack of innovation in field,poor working conditions such as standing in hot sunny and dusty environment,more physical works,salary delay,more than 15+hr work,no weekly off,abusing language particulary used on construction site,Its like hell like condition for civil engineers in India.This branch will not remain evergreen branch for long if situation not improve in future years,nobody will want to become civil engineers if ground condition not improved

( I started graphic ,web designing from grade 9 from UA-cam or any platform that had source of information) !! It's never too late to start something bro go for it .

@@Theactualstoic Dude you got it all wrong IB and Hedge Fund, these along with Private Equity and M&A are the major finance roles post MBA and thus highly competitive. Since I have been working with Blackrock for the Hedge Fund division for the past 1.5 years let me tell you one thing yes you will find few engineer undergrads but during recruitment CAs, CFAs and Finance and Commerce undergrads from major colleges are the ones who have a upper hand for these roles as these with it's valuations and deductions require high quantitative ability and are math heavy, so companies prefer candidates with quant background and engineers having deep finance skills are a blessing. But still CAs and SRCC or SXC grads are valued more over be it IITians or NITians.

It changes nothing my major was commerce, currently I am working as a python developer. It's all what you wanna do even in finance there is CA, CPA, ICAI, CFA and CS.

You don't require specialization..A strong Programming knowledge.. problem solving... Data Structures, Algorithm then system design that will what requires for getting good job don't jump to these fascinating specialization only do basic key till fancy level
look this is a new trend started by tier 3 colleges to attract/fool students that they will be focusing on certain domain if they choose certain specialization. but in reality everyone will be studying the same thing, same subject throughout you B.Tech degree. So don't get fooled by it.
yes it is you can pick ML instead of AI because AI jobs are so much skilled jobs, ML also but ML had many jobs its same like data science little differ so you can apply for data science positions too.

People are missing a point. At no point did the guy say that he earns 1 crore. He just said ki he is SDE2. In fact, at one point, he even said ki higher range of SDE 2 is 60-70 lakhs. It is wrong to assume that the guy himself earns 1 crore
