There is a strong resemblance to Hugh Fraser until you notice the sometimes odd inflections and mispronunciations that creep in...faults Hugh would never make. This sounds like a high class AI job to me.
@@merylslabbert3570 that's why it says read by Jason Fraser - I believe the use of the name 'Fraser' is to attract listeners who assume it means Hugh Fraser
@@kettyalevra7720 And shouldn't Poirot have at least a trace of a Belgian accent? After this, I listened to Hugh Fraser read another Poirot story, and realized all I'd missed in this narration. But my point is really this: even if AI technology does improve till it can fake us out completely, is it okay to put our favorite human voice actors out of work?
my suggestion is that you omit the explanatory prologue about the labors of hercules....in my opinion it adds nothing to the video and it steps on the great story by agatha christie....the story is why we visit and the story stands on its own and needs no extraneous support or explanations
Why? You spelled Poirot's name wrong and probably don't even know French. Why complain about something that is free that you can choose not to listen to.
I so enjoy being able to hear some of my favorite stories. I don't always have the time to sit and read and listening to these stories is wonderful.
Excellent narration. Thanks a lot!
I enjoy all your stories thank you very much for sharing them with us👏🥂
Lovely writing; Thank-You!
alb i no....
I really don't know why UA-cam didn't recommend this sooner this and Sherlock instead of the other garbage
Agree!
Love this! What is the narrator’s relationship to Hugh Fraser?

@@unclebill1202 Yes, I am listening to these stories just in order to savour the mispronounciations.

None....Seems the choice to use the name 'Fraser' is a 'hook' :P
Hind has a long i sound, rhymes with find. Thanks for your stories. :)
Very nice presentation, but the way Mr Fraser, pronounced Row , sounds like A I ? I could be wrong
It is AI, I think. Too many awkward phrasings and pauses. Plus the characters all sound a bit alike.
I think it’s AI as well
Too many wrong pronunciations and intonations

I totally disagree. I very much appreciate the allusions to Greek mythology.
The allusions would be better at the end so as not to ruin the story.
@@sophiachavez3377 oh geez, your story got ruined? Sad…
@@luzvaldes1030I totally agree with you. The allusions trace a parallel between the original labors of Hercules and story being told.
I would‘nt have appreciated the story half so much without the prior explanation about the reference to Greek mythology.
I wish Periot's parts were in a French accent 😢

please do not start speaking the minute the story is over. it ruins the ending of a lovely story. thank you for your work.
