I respect Mr Kyle and I thank him. Water is something Nigerians neglect - I was glad you launched that clean water initiative - Kudos. Questions arise in my mind: 1) Why aren't the NYSC deployed to help with a project such as this? 2) Lagos state has a multi-billion dollar economy, why can't they dedicate a fraction of this towards communities that lack clean drinking water? People are quick to BOAST of a population of 200+ million, but it takes a foreigner with a "pricked conscience" (from childhood) to come and do something like this. It's kind of sad how as a society we have become blind to people's obvious needs. Despite all the talk of being the "giant of Africa" - the poor in Nigeria are no better off than the poor in "poorer" African countries, they could even be worse because there are more people to fight to get what you want. I would like to commend Mr Kyle he has so many good ideas.
African with they small brain, how can you believe evil Caucasian people who are destroying your land or destroying African names in the world with media.
The truth is some oyibo people are compassionate he may have seen the way they live and decided to come down and impact their lives. I have seen some Oyibo who have lived in villages in Nigeria and helped the villagers with his professional expertise till he can no longer work. Some people saying he is a spy he should be monitored....
The problem is that this people are not Nigerian they are from neighboring countries that came into Nigeria to settle down the Nigeria government don’t want them for that they don’t recognize them, they have asked them to leave many times still they are there living their lives for me i think the Nigeria government should give this people a chance this are people who don’t know where exactly they are from, they only know little of their history how they got here because many you see today were born in that same location never been to their country of origin the only country they know is Nigeria for that our government should look inward pls make them Nigerian officially and reduce the suffering my questions is why Nigeria government don’t take tourism serious is it because we are bless with natural resources as a nation look at Kenya they have nothing but tourism tourism drivers the Kenya economy for me i don’t think our government have any idea on how much money they can actually make from tourism
idf i were him, i would not say that starving thing. Its just a stereotype and he will make many people angry by relating it to us. Arica is a huge continent of 54 countries, I am sure he did not see anyone that looks starved like you find in some desert country I am not going to mention. These people need help in Makoto, but saying they are starving is just an insult to them. apart from that I applaud him and everyone doing what they can to help.
I am a Nigerian. It is true people are starving in Nigeria. It is a false sense of pride to say that they are not starving. In Nigeria they will beat a child nearly to death if the child steals food to eat.
Thanks for sharing this video. I would like to see changes in this area of Nigeria. Putting a good development into the future is worth the effort to make a difference. I believe change in makoko is coming. Thanks again.

Huge! been trying to trade on my own for a while now but it isn't going well. Few weeks ago I lost about $7,000 in a particular trade. Can you at least advise me on what to do?
The problem with Nigerian policy makers and public officials is their priorities. They are willing to borrow a billion dollars and more to build a fourth mainland bridge while they will ignore a humanitarian tragedy like Makoko. Think of what an investment of 100 million dollars would do for so many people. They can develop a waste management system for them, potable water, and improved housing and transportation. This would alleviate poverty to the extent people would begin to relocate. A person living in penury is not in a position to move. The government simply wants to remove them without providing an alternate means of livelihood. They survive on fishing. The solution is excellent education and skills acquisition for the children and youth such that they will be able to move out to start families elsewhere.

absolutely correct! They should keep an eye on the small kids around him
this guy is gonna learn some hard lessons about how helping people really works. it doesnt.
For God sake, Lagos State should assist or work with him to help the poor of poorest among us. God bless this man, he should be given one year visa eventually a permanent resident. May his days be long. Amen
lol 😂, let me tell you something today that the white people don’t help for free, and watch few months from now or a year time and see what will happen to those people
Hopefully he didn't come with alfabet BS and SA little boys
Just finished the video. Wonderful job.🙏 Inspiring.
May God bless this American man
David Nkwa is a world class traveler and explorer!!
I respect Mr Kyle and I thank him. Water is something Nigerians neglect - I was glad you launched that clean water initiative - Kudos.
Questions arise in my mind:
1) Why aren't the NYSC deployed to help with a project such as this?
The govt care less and are only interested in demolition of the place, hence no Intervention of any kind for those who live the water areas.
@@DavidNkwa I'm sure there are communities elsewhere in the state that need clean drinking water. I doubt if they are the only ones in Nigeria.
Government interventions should be inclusive of all
The truth is some oyibo people are compassionate he may have seen the way they live and decided to come down and impact their lives. I have seen some Oyibo who have lived in villages in Nigeria and helped the villagers with his professional expertise till he can no longer work. Some people saying he is a spy he should be monitored....
Lindo trabalho voluntário. Ótimo vídeo
May Almighty God blessed every area of life
The problem is that this people are not Nigerian they are from neighboring countries that came into Nigeria to settle down the Nigeria government don’t want them for that they don’t recognize them, they have asked them to leave many times still they are there living their lives for me i think the Nigeria government should give this people a chance this are people who don’t know where exactly they are from, they only know little of their history how they got here because many you see today were born in that same location never been to their country of origin the only country they know is Nigeria for that our government should look inward pls make them Nigerian officially and reduce the suffering my questions is why Nigeria government don’t take tourism serious is it because we are bless with natural resources as a nation look at Kenya they have nothing but tourism tourism drivers the Kenya economy for me i don’t think our government have any idea on how much money they can actually make from tourism
idf i were him, i would not say that starving thing.
@@JB-rs5xkThat's so wrong. I don't know why people are taking law into their own hands.
Thanks for sharing this video. I would like to see changes in this area of Nigeria. Putting a good development into the future is worth the effort to make a difference. I believe change in makoko is coming. Thanks again.
Coming out there pretending to be nice and down to earth, please don't be a victim. Shines your eyes, looking innocent is dangerous in which their colonizers did.
I don't trust this man
Hide your kids , as a Nigerian we must stop letting people like him coming to us , hide your kids 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Africans are naive and gullible. He’s probably a registered sex offender in the US
Thank you for the content! All we need is the right advice on how to invest in crypto and we will be set for life, made $6Ok from trading last month and am so happy about it
Huge! been trying to trade on my own for a while now but it isn't going well. Few weeks ago I lost about $7,000 in a particular trade. Can you at least advise me on what to do?
We are rich people, but we have a very useless president and criminal government in Nigeria
Good 👍 may God almighty continue to this white man a great job
You are doing a great job David .
God will bless this white guy.
I dont trust these people..he wont be here if its not beneficial 💯
Smh
@@xavieronyejose9614 My brodda the beneficial is four de people

And also thanks to David Nkwa for his own contributions to this community.
Amazing work he’s doing 👏🏼❤What is his website? I’d love to help out there!
Beautiful video
Make una check well well, mineral resources go dey that area wella. Under the water something special go dey. Make una no dey believe anything wey dey comot for their mouth. Humanist kor philanthropist ni.
Home is where de heart is 🤍💚 Mr Kyle is amazing teacher...misinary pastor with a doctrine degree with emotional and social learning with masters degree...I can understand him wanting to help less fornatuate in 9ja...hoping Tywoo would invite me 😥 if approved I would love to help there with aqua culture plants in de waters. but what will he do in dry seasonthat is questionable to me..These are amazing hard working people...my blessings to them 🤲🏽 One world one love🌍🙏🏽🤲🏽🩷
The ring he is boldly displaying, is he married? If yes, what happened to his wife?
Question: The mission work that you do is it registered or....
Response: Stammers...eeeemm, it's just me.
Can this be done in USA? Who run a foreign NGO alone?
Done a check on him, no trace!!!
My instinct NEVER fails...nothing personal, due diligence it is called.
If yu want to help people in need, why didn't you take care of the homeless living in US?
Exactly the people defending him are naive. I don’t trust this guy.
FG needs to check him out, make sure he's legit, people in Makoto slum are not hungry they are fisherman and women, Bro make sure he's not Hannibal lector, know what I mean.. nice video
The govt can never afford to move them unless there's a relocation elsewhere ready for them. Also with few modernization and small hotel resorts on the island for tourism will generate good income for the people.
Africans. When are we going to learn not to bring devil into our comfort places smh!!
I hope Jack is not busy abusing those little girls and boys over there?
One Oyinbo man de help pass de hole govament wen we get. Na wa!
Can someone please tell what we Nigerians are doing to make the lives of the Makoko residents better. I will keep asking this question.
Japparing because we are too good for Nigeria and Nigerians.
They don't, David where can we send out to help Jack for his works
America has a lot of homeless people and approximately 50% are in California....yep, thats where Hollywood is. However, the west was also taught about Africa in a pitiful way.
After seeing a couple of videos over the years i realize Africa is far better than they have been teaching the west.
Teach a lan hiw to fish and he will be set for life.
His parent said I quite "some where in Africa someone is hungry" colonisers mentality of slavery view, where in the world is someone not hungry including US, has he helped the all hungry ones in US ?
Abeg, the people in us have resources and knowledge he took knowledge where it was needed why are you so mad and negative you come off with the mentality of colonizer particulary the trump followers kind
What a message ... materialism not the way . What matters is relationship
They people that are complaining about this white guy what are you done or doing to help the people.
Makoko is not the responsibility of the individual Nigerian. Its Nigerian government responsibility. Get your knowledge right about how society works. If you disagree, tell me how much of salary you gave away to beggars last month?
Jack is a great guy! God bless his heart and your ministry. Well done @davidnkwa
Step away from materialism to relationships!
How can I be a part of this, get more of the water system for the community? Please drop a contact. Tnx
Wow! The white man is fulfilling his destiny. He will not be ashamed to give an account when he appears before his maker. God will continue to uphold you.
Please nigeria people should shine your eyes nothing for nothingooo .
What have you contributed??
These people at most times hide in such places to commit atrocities against the people of our continent
Especially to our babies 😢
@InfoAfrica247 werey 🤡
TRUE. We see it happening from missionary time when we were colonized and see their exploitation across African countries . Why didn’t they help the poor in USA before coming to Africa. Be alert Nigerians….Hmmm.
Oh yes i agree with you 100%
Like they do in Gambia, Thailand etc
Nah sorry as someone else said keep an eye on this guy ❤
If every shack in Makoko was like Jack's, I wouldn't mind at all !
Lagos government are you watching?
Thanks David "Na You kill Goliath", for an engaging and educating video!
Jack is doing great and am glad people of Makoko can get his support .
All those complaining about him or suspecting him should point to the help they have offered to the people of Makoko.
Even when I gave them the opportunity to give towards providing water for people I'm Makoko, none of the people who dropped this pessimistic comment gave . Because I have my list of these who gave, lol.
Leave Jack alone 🤣
Enjoy the video, If you support the people, do, if you can't move on
@@DavidNkwa,you are correct I just started giving yesterday. I hope the gentleman stays true to what he is doing. But take this from an AA we have to live with these people, it's very hard to trust them, especially the ones that say they love you. I always enjoy your videos, and I will be donating in the future.
@@taharka3897 Behave man!!
Jack is just ONE person, he is not Hernan Cortes, not Christopher Columbus, and not John Cabot who all arrived on Armadas as conquistadors and invaders!
Maybe what he is doing is what AA's ought to be doing....returning back to Africa to help bring new ideas!
But AA's don't seem to have the stomach for any parts of Africa, never mind a slum!
I don't see no mass exodus of AA's out of America despite the lack of trust you claim not to have for white folks !
God job Jack.
You’re living a purposeful life.
You are a blessing to the people of Makoko.
He should be given unlimited visa , that means like having a Nigerian passport
our forefathers thought the same when the first slave buyers landed with their bible. The rest is history
That peoples faeces goes into the same water they fish from is disturbing. Whilst i applaud this gentleman, one can't help but wonder if any background check has been done on him. I truly believe that should apply to anyone who wants to live amongst the Makoko community..
I am not convinced Makoko floating slum can be turned into a lucrative tourist joint!!
@@ot4625 I don't know of any Nigerian who lives outside of Makoko who'll go & swim in those waters. Totally agree with you, we can't
just buy his story carte blanche.
When he was asked about what he does & experience, he gave bland answers about working for the homeless in the US.
The thing is the day before, i had come across a sad story on the channel below:

@@displacednaija As long as they fish in the water where their human waste is deposited. there's a very serious problem. What sort of sanitation are you suggesting?
watchy him around kids !

This is why africans should learn the diference between people and systems. We should not fight people we should fight systems bcz people are all victms of systems running countries
I think he said he is from Kansas, not Kent.
Great work always 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
