- Have you ever wanted a DETAILED description of what actually happens from the time you walk out of the hearing to the time you get the decision? Hopefully this video will help.
I had my hearing on 11/14/18 and received a fully favorable decision on Dec 7 2018!

I had my hearing on October 18. I was found fully favorable October 29. I wasn’t expecting it.
Had my hearing 11/14/2023 hopefully it goes quick.
My decision took two weeks. Fully favorable. Now resource interview.

My attorney notified me after the hearing that my case was won “Favorable”
My attorney told me right after the heating that the judge had approved me and even figured out how much backpay I would get ($23,000.)
This attorney is speaking the absolute truth. Why? Cause it happend to me. I waited 20 long month's for my hearing. Then i waited four month's to receive my dicision. But it was totally my fault i had missed my evaluation appointment five month's prior to my hearing. The judge could've denied me right there in court but gave me another shot to go. So u know i went. But i had to wait 30 days for the letter. Then to add more stess my representatives asked for an extension which the judge granted. So that was more waiting. But thank god for the judge i had that was sympathetic towards me. After four long months of waiting on my dicision Finally i received a fully favorable dicision from the judge. Talk about loosing it...
Well, thanks for this video. You did make me feel somewhat better because it has been over 9 months since my hearing and I haven't heard a word. Stress plays a big part in how I'm doing so let's just say I haven't been doing well.

It was determined that my onset date was March 20, 2019 I applied for my disability in person April 18, 2019 then on September 20, 2019 I received my letter of award my monthly benefits begin on October 9, 2019 I thought it would take so much longer I read everything on the subject and watched so many video's they really help just follow directions and the process is much easier but prepare for the long haul.

Sir...You are by far one of the smartest cats on the internet. I got approved from my hearing...It is a process with patience for sure. But like you said.....dont scrutinize...heres a question I heard though.....should you put your awarded miney in a seperate bank account? please answer and thank u again....5 STARS all the way.

It's been 3 months since I went to court for my disability hearing. My lawyer had all my medical records, capacity test etc. in fact 3 inches thick of medical records. I had been sent a request for records from the judge. I signed it and sent it back straight away. I thought the records from my lawyer were give to them. So I'm still waiting to hear... I was injured three years ago at work.. spent all my savings..screwed now.

My family member is on ssdi for bipolar and is a drunk/ crack addict and gets approved. I worked 30 years as a correctional officer and now have a bad back and collect a small pension I get denied at alj level. Go figure

the vocational expert at the hearing 2 times agreed that there is no job i can reasonably do given my lack of mobility. No work for me is available. Afterwards, I was sent out of the hearing room and the judge and my lawyer shut the door and spoke for 10 minutes..laughing and so forth . My rep said beforehand she loved this judge we got...so afterwards, my lawyer said she thinks we hit a homerun and came off very credible,coupled with the voc. experts findings and opinion. I knowyou cant say for sure, but in your experience, is this generally a good out come? THANK YOU.

My law firm told me to watch the mail after my hearing and review took place February 4 after they got my taxes I mailed and wrote out. I filed anyways. My card

What causes some judges to make a bench decision on some and not others?
They told me I could be a secerty gard lol I was locked up for 5 years!

The problem is not your "employability", per se. For instance, to be an R.N. (registered nurse); which requires a board-certified state license in that state in which you practice/ in all 50 U.S. states / you must have Never been convicted of a "felony" (crime). This includes "expungement"/ pleas of ""no contendere" {"no contest"}. However, if you could otherwise work as an "R.N." ; even though you are not "employable" on the basis that your are not allowed to; you "May" still be considered "able to work as an "R.N." under SSA disability rules!

james honeycutt I can be a call operator, addresser, and or ticket taker.... 1st question judge asks me? Do you collect a state pension. Why yes your honor I do collect a 40% disability salary of 2,370.00. Hearing was on 5-9/19 for herniated disc/ laminectomy, psoriatic arthritis. I got denied and I think she denied me because I collect a pension. Biased

How much say so does the disabilty doctor have in the decsion being made to get your disability?

Heres one for ya. Get a Full Favorable. Then the Appeals Council takes it and overturns the ALJ's Decission. This has happen to my Wife. My Lawyers office seems to think its a non issue that The ALJ will just send it back to them saying He already made a decission. Sure wish i knew about you Before we went down this road.

No I'm past the exam. I got to the proof of income. Lol they review my claim and I couldn't get my money till now. Waiting on card in the mail. I gave my 1099 to lone Star legal aid last week. The ssa ask for that. Im done with my case.thirty days less than fourteen days
But i really miss working love to work n make better money n keep my mind besy but i walk up one day whit diabetes nerves damage in my both feet n both hand it had be 4 years im still YOUNG only i became desable since 2016 n now i got chronic pain all over my body they got me on opiod med is the only way i will get off my bed i be suffering whit panic attack disorder before i came down whit neuraphaty nerve damage. My mental health issues since 2008 i keep working like that it was a battle for me n stress disorder but i keep battle my condition i work for 21 years whit unio pension vacation it was a good job hard to find this day I also new construction I know how to do bathroom sheetrock plastic painting all type of things I know how to do but I cannot do anymore the pain and my feet and both hand got worse throughout this forts years I also got bulge disc on my back n my neck too disc deceased on my back n neck n other conditions like diabetes n blood pressure n mood disorder n stress disorder is crazy but got to keep on moving forward i miss working better i hope only a miracle could take out my pain

I have a question I know that you have to wait 18 months for To see a judge but when they say that will they see you before the 18 months is that possible
My doctor said i can't work and they say i can so stressed
They gave me 3 jobs that i sti can't do so aggravated

is the automated system is accurate its been going on 2 months and the automated system says a descion has not been made does that mean something wrong that i am getting denied or what
unfortunately, there is no set deadline for a determination so the fact that you are waiting longer doesn't mean you were approved or denied. Just means your case is being processed.

I'm not getting a denial letter so it's a card it was review so diagnosis and doctor with taxes makes paid this month I'm glad it's not post development lol
Which one you get faster SSDI. Or SSI or it doesn’t matter do they just go to the same process
Or they will approve SSDi faster because you have worked credit
Please I am confuse a little bit
If you get SSI while you wait for disability payments and win disability, then you will have to pay back all of the disability from your back pay. That will take longer for you to receive your disability back.... if there’s anything left.

They really don’t do anything until the hearing unless terminal. I was fully favorable before the hearing. My attorney called me and said the judge approved me but didn’t want to pay all the back pay. Just for 1-1-2020 to September but the DONT pay for the first 5 months. I was approved 9-9-2020. I’ve already received my award letter about 20 days ago. Payment will begin in November for October. For some reason payment is a month behind. It’s very hard to get approved these days.
So after two long years I got my Hearing I when on June 3 and the judge told me I need to get a mental evaluation I don’t get it i have plenty of evidence seen elementary school to higher to now I been seen my therapist and psychiatrist religiously I am stressing more and and I feel like there no hope for me 😢😢😢😢
There is hope trust me. Don't give up because that's what the other attorneys wants.
