I really like my 22 GT. 77 Sierra's were just stupid accurate as well. I stick with the 85.5 bergers at .040 off and it has been just flat awesome, even with throat erosion after 1400 plus rounds it still really shoots( not 75 eldms any more). Just completed a west Texas mule deer hunt with the 85.5 Berger, it is very impressive what it does to a 200 lb mule deer
LOVE LOVE LOVE my 22GT. I just wish I could get a bit more velocity from it. I struggle to reach 3200 with 88 Eldm's. It's a .219 bore so I'm surprised it seems so tight, and H4350 was disappointing as far as getting speed. I've had MANY 1 hole groups with that rifle.
a 10 mph wind moves those 90's about .6 inches at a 100yds. so you would have to see about a 19mph change in wind to see a 1.1 inch group. did you have that big of change?
Need more testing The first group was amazing . maybe barrel like to be clean to shoot good? Hope not You need to repeat the first load with dirty barrel.
Are you purchasing your reamers or renting them? Starting to get into this and just trying to understand. For a caliber I plan on using a LOT, I would definitely purchase, but for trying, seems like rental is the way to go.
@@tommyj7087 I mostly rent reamers. In specific situations I have bought reamers. Most of what I’m going I will never need the reamer a second time because I’m just testing different cartridges
i don't know how many powders and bullets that guy tried, but if it doesn't shoot with a BR case i don't know if it will. best of luck to you. i hope it works out. that would be a good score.
@@westtexasfarmhand4790 for the price I have really enjoyed it. I am a shooter her prefers to shoot on about 30 mag vs 25 so I have preferred it to some other optics. Not necessarily that it’s better but I prefer the extra mag and like the simple reticle.
@@RobsReloading thats good to know 💪i have been using arken optics for a good while now and really like em..ill have to get me a discovery yet to try it
Use 88eldm or the 95 Sierra I use N555 and keep them at 3030-3080 you can go much faster but not needed the 95 has a .600 bc and not a heavy recoil perfect for matches
Been really liking my 22 gt with Berger 85.5

the person who gave you two "bad" barrels probably just needs a better scope and scope rings.
@@davidpeterson6147 the person who gave it to me had the barrel given to them from someone else. So the whole situation is a bit of a mystery to me.
This is what I wanted to see!
Need more testing

@@RobsReloading I thought I was current on all your videos. I will have to go see what else I might have missed.😊

Friend shoots 85.5 bergers it’s a laser beam with no recoil.
Is this a caliber thats close to 22-250?
@@andrebosgraaf2086 I guess it could be. However people shooting 22GT are generally going to shoot long high bc bullets
Tikka sells 2 kind off twists for the 22-250 special for the guys who like those more heavy high bc bullets o know.
Send that raggedy barrel to me . 😊
Lol,move to the left,,oopps😅
Doesn't group ay hmmm got yourself a winner there bro don't tell old mate who gave it to you 😂
That barrel shoots horrible! Send it to me…
I guess that barrel is bad (:
