If i could pay 50 gems for an trash legendary armament i would probably spend all my gems on aramments to get to the special inscriptions faster xD At that rate you would get a special inscription for 70k gems, which is a lot but stil seems worth for any non scroll one. Edit: Actually two special inscription with the new reward system and recycling yielding 1 each.
FYI, I just looked at it on my newest farm, and if you haven't yet completed the expedition levels they are still distinct, the rally/garrison special levels have red and green castle icons, and the boss levels have a big treasure chest, regular levels are just an empty hexagon
Greatest way to look into the aethelfled, canute, aethelstan dynamic would be to watch the series. 'The Last Kingdom' . which is probably what lilith are basing hype on
Vikings Valhalla as well. The moment i saw 'KING OF ALL BRITAIN' as well as a god Odin as power, i knew it's going to be Cnute, unless Lilith pulls a joke.
My guess.. they put the new mistery commander as end level boss in expedition to fight the castle so you can unlock him and he"ll be used as the free aethelfled but then released and used for SOC.
They want old players to come back, to what? There is a reason the retention rate of players is less than 1%. 1 bringing back old account will be WAY behind so almost better for most people to just start over. 2 being way behind no kingdom will want you and chances are the kingdom you are in will zero you non stop to make you quit again because you will be hurting their matchmaking. They really need to find a way for players to actually come back and or stop talking about fixing the gap between new players and old kingdoms and actually do something. But reality is new kingdoms are a min of 20k cities by the time kvk 5 happens most of those kingdoms are down to less than a full alliance. The name of the game is have as few players as you can and still battle it out and compete.
I would love to see secondary talents “matter”. It could be accomplished by halving the talent - like, instead of generating 20% rage, the secondary would apply 10% rage. It would give relevance to actually leveling the commander to 60.
if you read what the commanders say when you click on them in your city aethel sometimes talkes about aethelred, her sister i feel like lilith needs to add aethelred.
Skill damage tree would’ve made her to broken. Also her as a support tree makes it so that we can get 9% attack every time we heal or get healed which would add on top of her expertise
Tremors is a buff because smite commanders can use this inscription now. Previously, only direct damage triggers the effect, now it’s an active skill that triggers the effect.

Man it’s going to be so boring if the expedition shop update is only just another free peacekeeping commander… why they haven’t incorporated a way to spend expedition coins on season 2-3 commanders is insane to me.
9:43 sorry to say that but TBH this one of most stvped ideas I had ever seen in my life, cuz if you tried to think for 3 seconds you know you should make the normal inscription work for the other types of damage like smite and true as skill damage 😫
I tested the travel 😂 yea definitely waste of gems. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 20k gems and not a single good armament. Junk inscriptions. Including one for v formation on arch formation 😂 huge huge gamble. But players that consistently have over 100k gems this is probably a HUGE advantage for them. If you're doing 100+ travels daily. You're pretty much guaranteed to get some really good stuff.
Excellent reading Omni wow I agree with everything you've said, it really looks like a new legendary will be unlocked for the expedition rewards 🥲 but you forgot to mention the new revamped graphics for all field units T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5 where completely polished, including the CITIZENS of our city, the old (gold chest) commanders, and even the Barbarians 🥲

If you look closely the commander background reflects the architecture of each civilization in ROK. You could also see the civ CH in the background.
