Would you consider also reviewing one of the newest Disney Duck cartoons? "Legend of the Three Caballeros" is from 2017, and a really underrated Donald Duck cartoon. As good as Ducktales, almost as good as Darkwing Duck. It also includes several easter eggs and cameos from Disney history.

Darkly Dawn the Duck IS NOT THE PILOT! it’s just the origin episode which doesn’t equal pilot. The pilot is the first episode produced usually to pitch to the higher ups. In Darkwing’s case That Sinking Feeling is the pilot.
If you’re a Darkwing fan, I would actually recommend keeping an eye on Ducktales 2017. He made some cameos in season 1, got his own episode in season 2 and is getting a one-hour special in October that’s essentially a remake of the pilot. Also, they’ve set up Launchpad’s character arc to organically lead into the Darkwing stories, so nothing feels shoe-horned.
I love Darkwing Duck I have all the comics I have the signed by the artist I have Darkwing Duck costume which I warned for Comic-Con and met Jim Cummings in it. I love this character was soon as I saw him on the cover of Disney Channel magazine yes I remember that for a long time ago I wanted to know everything about him he's awesome

it was a tie between Bushroot & QuakerJack. I just thought they were the most entertaining. It was really cool in Ducktales 2017 when they had their clip with their original voice actors
Oh and in terms of Disney+ order...all the 65 syndicated episodes are placed in the order in which they actually aired. So not REALLY out of order. The two origin episodes are placed where they first aired in syndication, so those technically aren't out of order either. And regarding the idea that Jim Cummings improvised the "I am the terror" lines. Ive spoken to creator Stones and several writers. This isn't true.
Glad they kept both goss's good, and I'd be the friendly 4 bushroots friend. Negaducks goss looks like goldilocks, and tank looks like he's wearing a school uniform. Coraline did something simular.
Long as they don’t screw it up I think DW is a property that should remain untouched (just like Burton’s Christmas and the rest of the 80s cartoons begging for a reboot)
Oh jeez, do not get me started on how vastly out of order this series is. When I was in high school, for some odd reason, I went through a Darkwing Duck obsession which started with me trying to find this old Toon Disney bumper which actually was nowhere to be found online at the time but got uploaded to youtube like 2 years later, go figure. Anyways, I found myself caught in a hole of top 10 90's cartoon theme song lists which were very common videos back in 2008/2009 & I noticed a lot of them didn't include the Darkwing Duck theme song which like as a kid, I was very loyal to Ducktales, I was born in 1991 so I caught the series as reruns on Disney Channel then eventually Toon Disney which is how I found out about Darkwing Duck but it was a show I only watched when there was nothing better on & I was bored, I didn't like how Launchpad was in the series since I loved it when he crashed & stuff, I was convinced that Launchpad was an imposter, suppose I wasn't too far off lol. Anyways, I was so ticked that a lot of the lists didn't include Darkwing Duck's theme song because I honestly felt like that theme song was better than Ducktales which is saying a lot & what did it for me was this top 20 list where the Ducktales theme was number 1 & the people who did the list commented that Darkwing was swishing his tail to that theme, I was like "alright, enough is enough, I'm just gonna go listen to the Darkwing Duck theme song myself because it's been too long since I've heard it." From there, I ended up watching Darkly Dawns the Duck parts 1 & 2 then the rest was history, I bought the two DVD sets that were available & watched them over & over so much that the sleeves holding the DVD cases were worn down. I also watched the rest of the series including Hot Spells through youtube because it was like around late 2008-ish I think & stuff got by on youtube so much easier back then, they were much more lenient on copyright but cracking down hard enough that I pulled all nighters to watch every episode out of fear of them being removed the next day. With that said, I watched the series horribly out of order but at least I had the benefit of watching the first two episodes first, I looked it up before going in & on the DVDs, they're also placed first so I didn't even have to worry about that but I had to make sure I was really gonna actually enjoy the show that time around before buying the DVDs. I have a group of friends who are super hardcore Disney fans, like one of them grew up in a Disney family that takes trips to Disneyland every year & watches every Disney movie that comes out, the other friend is into Disney princesses as well as obsessing over Treasure Planet, she likes pirate stuff too. The other friend in the group likes a lot of things in general but ended up latching onto Disney more due to this friend group. As for me, I am into a lot of the Disney TV shows, not just Disney Afternoon but I watched so much on the Disney Channel, Zoog Disney (kid me thought it murdered the Disney Channel & only watched it because I didn't have the Disney Channel to watch anymore until it came back, I was slightly too young to know what happened there & never bothered to research it as an adult), Toon Disney, & Disney's One Saturday Morning. I also was obsessed with Disney's Toontown Online so yeah, I was more on the shows & games side of things while my other two friends were more involved with the movies & the third friend was well rounded but probably had the best hand dipped into the history portion of Disney, I watched some of the old cartoons when I was little given my daycare provider was also Disney obsessed & she loved the classic cartoons but I wasn't all too into them, I'd watch them if they came on the House of Mouse but I hated being at daycare for a variety of reasons & a lot of the really old Disney cartoons stirs up those memories in me. Back to the story, I am the master of bunny trails, sorry about that. I knew this group would love Darkwing Duck but one person in the group is extremely rigid about watching things in order which might explain how she knows as much as she does about the classic cartoons. I kid you not, instead of doing homework, I spent hours writing out a list of episodes that need to be seen before Just Us Justice Ducks so I could have a Darkwing Duck themed sleepover & we watch all the episodes that needed to be seen in order to understand all the characters in that episode because I was so confused when I first saw it so I knew it would be important. Sadly during this point in time, Neptunia's introduction episode was super hard to find, I don't think the guy I used to match a majority of the series had it & the only one I could find was absolutely horrible quality so I debated on skipping that, I don't think I did but I did give a warning on the quality of the episode. It wasn't just on the introductions to the characters, there was much more to it like I had to consider everything that came up in the episodes & which order would be best to show them in. Thankfully, the series was fresh on my mind 11 years ago so it was fun to do & I could recall it so well. Sorry that was long, I'll spare you your sanity & not continue yammering on about my history with the show but long story short, it took me a lot of trouble to piece together the series in a order that works & even asked for help from the Old Haunt on it if I remember correctly, been so long I don't fully remember my process. It's definitely a rough one to get into if you're into seeing things in order but a fun series anyways, highly recommend if you need to just relax & forget about life for a bit.
