Who Framed Roger Rabbit has cameo appearances by many Looney Tunes characters, including Daffy Duck, whose design was used for the duck in this film.
You betcha!
@@jamaniprince5356 If so, I would pay good money to see it.
And sorry if this comment is one monh late.
Aka Duck dodgers in the 24th 1/2 century!!!!!
Wow, this is like spiritual heir of Roger Rabbit, but dark as Cool World, I love it!
I hope this gets made someday with the love and care it deserves!
I wonder what the finished product of this movie would've been like.
Perhaps it would've been a huge hit in the Box-Office back in 1998 or something.
Opening sence of cartoon world (the very universal first film. That mix 2D animation and live action)
God this would have been such a fun movie! This is everything that made movies like who framed Roger rabbit and space jam classics. The story is fun, the characters especially the villains are likable, and the effects complement each other. A movie like this would have thrived back in the days or at least become a cult classic.
This has alot of potential, but i hope one day this could be made in to a full length movie.
What's funny about this, is it ENTIRELY feels like a movie Daffy Duck would bring to Warner Bros.
A movie about a superhero duck and duck villain, both starring Daffy Duck.
I mean, they both look and sound like Daffy in costume doing a voice slightly off from his own. Even has the exact shape of his bill.
It’s like Who Framed Roger Rabbit mixed with any kind of R rated movies combined. I wish they made the whole 95 minute movie. Great upload.
This is the first time I've ever seen this, let alone its existence, and I got to say this is truly a hidden gem.
I wouldn't be surprised if Richard Williams was the directing animator; the live/animation mixture is almost like on par with Roger Rabbit (one of my all-time favorite movies)
Wow this was incredible. I wish so badly it was feature length. I’d watch the hell out of that
THIS IS AMAZING! UA-cam algo on point today!
Holy Hell!! I Feel Like I just slipped into a Alternate Universe when watching this! The Animation Looks BRILLIANT!!!
8:35 i thought it was daffy i swear
We need a film like this now more than ever.
Nicely done, fellow animator!
This film is amazingly talented!😄❤️🔥👏🏻
Clarence Quack, that was supposed to be his full name in the design documents i saw. he had a very casual look, even hair in the concepts. The character sheet was probably made before or after this test footage since he looks less like Daffy
Just discovered this now, then checked your IMDB and website and realized you worked on a huge number of animated films and commercials I had the pleasure of growing up with, cool stuff man.
Wait a minute... that’s the ACME warehouse.
Pretty much!
I guess it was left-over sets from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Can't let everything go to waste.
As a kid its obviously cool and would be something of a dream, but thinking about it as an adult...cartoon physics in real life would be downright terrifying. 5:40 is about 4 heart attacks in less than a minute!
4:57
I like that sound effect lol, I heard it in a lot of cartoons and I don’t know how they did it?
Dude... what... i would watch the heck out of this thing if it was a feature film ❤
Lost media recovered I remember when this was being around the Internet back then
The animations is absolutely spectacular, the production value is through the roof, and the score for the film is incredible. Damn shame this never got fully fledged out.
This is so cool. It's always super interesting to see old media like this unearthed that never quite got off the ground and given a chance. Especially when you can see a lot of effort went into it.
It looks like who framed roger rabbit and cool world mix with space jam and space jam a new legacy
Looks great! Hope it could be revived and made into a full movie.
@@superdoug9285 yeah I wish they had revived this into a full feature movie 🎥 because I wanna see the whole thing because this is wicked awesome 🤟🏿😎🤩😃
I didn't know this movie exist but man this looks really good. It's suck that we won't get the chance to see it light of day.
Man this was amazing. It's a shame this didn't get turned into a feature. The cinematography had no business being that good.
please bring this movie back!
This is the kind of show we need.
Holy fuck we were robbed of this flick yo. I would’ve love this film if it ever got released. 😔
No idea why the Film's Production was stopped.
Based on what was left of this, I have a feeling this would've turned out to be super incredible back in 1998.
@@aderose yeah I wish they had finished making this movie 🎥 because this is really wicked awesome 🤟🏿😎🤩😃
5:52 I've had this night mare at least 10 time in my childhood.
Wow, this really has a vibe. I love it. It almost feels like a wacky movie I'd have caught on TV one time as a kid and just forgotten about.
This looks sorta like it was done by the people who did Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
It was actually done by the fellas who slammed the Jam on Space Jam
Seeing all of the other "Animation+live action" movies that came out after/around this time... You might have a blessing in disguise. I don't know if it would have done well enough at the box office at that time. Having a movie that didn't get picked up vs a movie that bombed at the box office.
Looks incredible!
Bro i would totally watch this movie. This was absolutely amazing and i hope that studios find this and fund it because its amazing
It looks very old timey... Perfect for some of us who love that vibe
still such a cool proof of concept all these years later!
Wow. You did incredible work on this sir! The animation on its own looks great. And it legit feels like it’s really there in the live action world. And the actors worked great, I’m convinced they think they're looking at and talking to cartoon people. Probably because they use physical references on set, but they don’t do that for kids films anymore, I guess they don’t care as much.
Total Masterpiece
Who ever made this cooked. Especially with the henchwoman. Almost got me actin up. 😈
We’ve been snubbed for over 20 years by this not getting even a movie
It would have had potential, at least this is this video to see how it would be, thanks
I love this so much. Imagine if Warner Bros. took this project at the time and turned into something like a Daffy Duck animated film.
I don't know why I was recomended a proof of concept video uploaded 6 years ago by the same people who made Space Jam, but I'm glad I was
Was this a kids movie or adult film? What's Studio wanted to produce this
Maybe both
Probably Warner Bros considering how much he looks like Daffy Duck.
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 Like Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
@@vincentfichtler7758 Something like that
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 because it's both a kid movie and adult movie despite having lots of beloved characters I heard some swear words in the movie and my ears never lied.
The music overruns some of the dialogue but I totally love the concept and would make an interesting film. I would definitely see it.
and reading the description, I'm curious what the way a real duck turns into a cartoon duck. I could see a celebrity voicing The Duck
I already watched Rodger Rabbit long ago so this animated short is indeed awesome!
Just like Jessica Rabbit, Tina herself ain't bad. She's just DRAWN that way.
It's like Who Framed Roger Rabbit mixed in with Cool World, but shorter.
