I've never heard of the SCAMPER model but I think that is the best way for 90% of people to launch a company rather than trying to be the next Thomas Edison. ...Especially if your end goal is to make a ton of money with minimal effort.
First off, I think people overestimate the likelihood that their idea will be stolen. With that said, you can protect your idea with patents (utility and design) and by executing faster than the competition. That means waiting to launch before you have all your ducks in a row (marketing, legal, manufacturing, fulfillment, etc.). That way, once you launch, you can sprint through each step to get your product to your customers before any copycats.
@@launchboom_official I just noticed a typo in my last comment. What I meant was that I am launching map-making software. We believe it has great potential on Kickstarter, as we have conducted thorough market research. We would like Launch Boom's team to be part of our journey, and we were eager to know the details to proceed. However, in our meeting yesterday with one of your Product Launch Specialists, she didn't even listen to the idea we were presenting. Instead, she mentioned that as per company policy, Launch Boom doesn't work with digital products. I understand that every company has its own policies, but I was at least curious about why Launch Boom doesn't work with digital crowdfunding campaigns.
Very comprehensive! Just what I was looking for! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Awesome video Mark! 👊
