Finally some one say it as it is. I shoot both and always get better results with the XDM competition than any other gun, never shoot the elite both have the barrel upgrade , XDM competition is a great gun!!
Our local police station just switched to Springfield Elites and red dots!!! Watch out bad guys! I asked what made them make the choice my buddy said it was the 10,000 round durability tests and the match grade parts but mostly how they NEVER fail!!!!
Same. Owned 4 Glocks, discovered XD after G23 ate up my hand with 180gr rounds. It was no comparison, XD40 Service had better trigger, sights, grip & recoil much less than G23.
I have both/ Glock 19 gen 3 and Springfield XDM ...Glock is in the safe...it might be found 500 yrs from now in a...museum exhibit..love my Springfield!
Love my XDM Elite OSP. It is a friggin' monster, put a holosun 507C on her along with an olight baldr mini and a Springer Precision compensator. On sale along with 3 free mags and a range bag made it a no brainer. Never cared for Glock. I think I have owned almost every pistol brand except Glock lol.
Now the Springfield has the elite version of this gun with the meta trigger flared mag well and a even better barrel. Springfield vs Glock is indeed a no brainer
I don't hate Glock, I own 3 of em (40,21,19) but the Springfield is more accurate, much better trigger and sights. After putting 4000 rds through all of them, i'd even say the Springfield is more reliable. That's not that Glocks are bad guns, they are great guns. But if you had to classify one of them as 'junk', it would be the Glock. Although the Gen 5 are a great improvement over the Gen 4. Buy BOTH. Do your own comparison.
Interesting I guess that’s why the 19 is the best selling gun of all time pretty sure they wouldn’t give militaries and government contracts for unreliable weapons 🤣🤣🤣 I think the Glock has a long history of reliability but what about the Springfield? The average person will never have to worry about the reliability of either and hard to prove either way
@@jeremeymiller3406 perhaps because Xd series are made in Croatia and they weren't made before 90's (after war HS Produkt started to manufacture weapons), so Glock had a lots of years ahead.
@@Fyoutube444 it’s all about personal preference I love the ergonomics of guns like that Springfield, Hk, and cz in fact the full size 45 acp emissary will be my next handgun purchase but the first pistol I learned how to shoot on and become familiar with so that’s the one I’m most comfortable with but I like to switch it up every now and then but who in their right mind can own only own one brand of pistol anyways that’s preposterous 🤣
@Jeremey Miller I've literally seen so many videos on police activity so many officers have problems with their Glocks and have to drop the mag put another mag chamber a round because it won't fire I've seen that least 20 times since I started watching that channel.
For me it came down to M&P or XDm. Glock has never been in the running because I hate how it feels in the hand. I've heard you can train through that, but why bother when the other two mentioned feel fantastic.
Absolutely, just got mine and my groups were amazing. Just added the fast fire 3 optics, that’s it. Elite tactical is amazing. I paid just at 550 brand new
I think the elite tactical is a 5.5, not a 4.5. I ordered the 4.5 holster and it didn’t fit. 5.5 one did. Anyone have an XDM 4.5 need a OWB holster let me know. I have a nice alien gear one
Bought a hellcat over all the other micro 9s and love it. Also bought a S.A. 1911 over some other well known brands and am just amazed at the fit and finish not to mention shear joy of shooting the gun. My next gun will be the xd. I just have to decide which one.
Best pistol I own. I keep looking at others in the same sort of class and I can't bring myself to buy them because it would only be slightly different, not better. Sig x5 legion is a contender..... Spoiled by choice I guess 🤔
I just bought the Springfield xdm 10mm 4.5. The only thing I like about the Glock better is that I can rack one into the chamber one handed, where I could never do that with the Springfield. So I think the Glock might be better in that regard. Of course, somebody would argue that I shouldn't be trying to rack a pistol one handed anyway.
I never understood the Glock fanboy following. They are uncomfortable, the sights suck, the operational features suck, the trigger sucks, the barrel sucks. but there is always an excuse; "you can train through it" or "its the most reliable" or "if your good with a pistol that stuff doesn't matter" or " you can upgrade it" Glock, Springfield, S&W, Sig are all equally reliable. only the Glock needs these excuses. Glock has a very good and aggressive marketing plan, sponsor everybody who will talk about the Glock, and donate or give huge discounts to the police departments.I own a Glock, and a Sig, and an XDM, I loved my Glock, right up until the point I fired an M9 when I first joined the military in 2005. I thought "why does this feel better than the best pistol on the planet?" down the rabbit hole I went...
I 100% agree everybody was always hooting and hollering about Glocks. I shot a Glock 19 the other day over my XDM elite Springfield blew it out of the water 100% in my opinion Glock has nothing on Springfield Springfield weapons are all I own, they have never failed me. I’ve never had failures.
What about weight? Love my XDM's in 9mm they shoot great. Problem is when I am packing in the mountains with a back pack, the XDM weighs about 4oz more. That's a lot in a small package. Considering swapping XDM's to glocks for the weight alone, but I love the way the XDM shoots, and I prefer the grip safety. Its a dilemma.
The only reason I’d want a glock is because everyone has one and parts are readily available. I hear they are reliable too which is good, but some people act like the glock is the end all be all
Thanks for the video. I am doing research on the Springfield XDm precision for my second duty pistol 9mm and I have made my choice. Thank You as always & keep the videos coming. 👍

The VP9 is a great gun, but the XDM outperforms it at a lot less money. Hell you can damn near buy an optic with the money you save buying an XDM.
@@96stealth thanks I really appreciate your explanation. I was looking for the XDM and all the gun shops near me didn’t have any. So I bought the VP9. I’ll most likely have the VP9 be my house pistol and when I find an XDM I’ll use it as my everyday carry. I want to put an optic on my gun, olight (laser & flashlight), and maybe a suppressor. Which gun do you recommend I put all that stuff on… the house gun or everyday carry?
Have had and still have many Glocks and XDM’s. I hate the factory Glock sights. Always switch them out for Trijicon sights. Both go bang every time. I shoot the XDM better. Could be me or the pistol.
How difficult is a trigger job to do on a Glock? Also, I think both are great weapons. On the one hand you get all the nice things from Springfield out of the box but on the other you have the undeniable durability of the Glock. I think both are a must own for any gun owner even though I don't have a Glock yet. I plan on getting one or two but the first handgun I bought that I was serious about using was a Springfield and I can't lie, I'm a fanboy for them.
Putting one in takes about 5 minutes. If you polish it. Takes maybe another 15-20 minutes. The XDM is superior in my opinion. Better built. Better trigger. Better features. Better sights. The list goes on. The only thing Glock has as a selling point is the aftermarket and how easy they are to work on.
Once your familiar with them I can put a drop on trigger in, in less than 2 minutes easy I can take the thing apart and put it back together with my eyes closed they are extremely easy to work on and play with. I have a variety of pistols and several glocks 19,17,34 and my favorite a 41 they aren’t the most refined pistols in the world out of the box and it’s true out of the box the Springfield is a better bang for your buck but it kind of depends what your intentions are for the gun I’d say the majority of people who buy glocks doing so knowing they are going to tinker the only gun I don’t upgrade except for a trigger shoe and extended controls is my edc so I’m not really A out of the box kind of guy I’m Going to tinker I know that going In that the trigger is going to go along with the sights and controls but if you don’t feel the need to do anything yeah go for the Springfield but the oem Glock will serve it purpose just as well. It simply comes down to what I just said and preference every aspect of performance that isn’t subjective is negligible no matter what claims anyone makes it’s mostly biased. People can all say what they want but Glock has undeniably been proven on much larger scale for a longer period of Time than any XD series it was one of the first to do this kind of pistol and do it right their is a reason military, law enforcement and private contractors have trusted this platform with their lives for decades now in some of the harshest conditions on the planet they are extremely reliable, rugged and durable, fairly inexpensive, very simple to work on and if something isn’t to your liking in anyway from the grip to the tip their is a galaxy of oem and high quality mil spec aftermarket parts that are readily available. Testing aftermarket Glock barrels is a bit of a waste of time unless you can find out where they are manufactured because a overwhelming majority are made in one or two factories these brands just put their spin on it with cuts, coatings and branding but their are a few in house manufacturers of match grade barrels like the faxons I have in my 17 and 34 sure I spent a little extra money to make my gun my way but I’ve tested and compared and even bough several other pistols brands in the category and I can’t shoot any of those better than my Glock having the same amount of rounds roughly through them all after thousands of rounds I’ve never had a malfunction of any kind that wasn’t mag or ammo related or because I was messing with compensators and suppressors and have only don’t routine maintenance and changing of guide rods I bought the barrels because I wanted a threaded one but also because the bores had started to go smooth . So like I said It comes down to the shooter and what maximizes their particular style and techniqUe I’m a former collegiate golfer and the parallel between that and shooting are that like the swing no two shooting styles are the same. that and their training And familiarity with the gun as well as their experience level and their personal preference. The comparisons in build quality and feel may be true but that’s still subjective. I assure you the difference in reliability if any is negligible if anyone tells you that it’s a flat out lie that can be disproven but not proven because like truck guys, gun guys get attached to specific brands they falsely deem superior and will defend them at all costs The Glock can pretty much do everything the Springfield can but the Springfield absolutely can’t do everything the Glock can . I’d say to rent them if you can and compare them next to one another along with any others you like to get your best performance. Any duty rated, mil spec brands foreign or abroad will undoubtedly serve you well. It’s wierd but I saw something online about choosing the right Gun so I asked the owner to layout the ones I liked and had him hand me them one by one blindfolded to go by feel and not brands and it made me a better shooter
The original Glock barrel is already TOP, but many people can't handle the trigger, which creates large scatter circles and the grip angle is not optimal.
Nathan That’s Great news. I’ll just call you Lucky !! Having troubles getting mine. Dealer says it’s because of the virus BS. Sooo good shooting and stay well. Ps I use the Gold Dot 147gr. How about you ?
Nathan Hello “Lucky” 115 gr. FMJ is a great round to use at the Range or just for plinking. Personally I like it better than a 124 gr. I do use the 147gr. JHP for home and carry defense only. Most of my Range practice is with the 115gr. But I also get in time with the 147gr. Mainly for the stopping power. And not killing my neighbors. Lastly God forbid it will go thru the windshield of a mad mad, stop the threat with minimum amount of damage. All in all you’ll like the 115gr.
Nathan Hey Man, just thought I’d mention Sage Dynamics. Good honest straight to the point information about shooting. No bs. You probably know most of it, but to me it’s good watching. Good shooting Bro.
HS Produkt (Croatian company)or for america market Springfild is the best for sure.HS is not for mass production weapons. They are more into quality tham quantity..Same is with helmets or rifels..When the first HS was produced, american FBI took it for official gun.. produced

@@BeyondSeclusion I would like you to do a similar out of the box, 50 yard test on guns from the hipoint and other bargain level guns, to low priced guns like the canik and the S&W and the ruger 9, then up the price to things like the glock, match xd, tricked out glocks... Just how much better, if any, at 50 yards from the canik to the tricked out glock with a match barrel?
I own 1 Springfield XD and 6 Glocks. The Springfield XD has more metal parts than the Glock. For example steel guide rod, steel pins, steel magazine release, steel takedown hangle, polished interior parts and stainless steel magazines that are super smooth to load. Also the XD trigger is more smooth than Glock. Also the sights are better along with the price. Glock has a lot of plastic crap that break after 500 rounds. Also the magazines are super hard to load. Glocks are just overrated and that's way I have so many of them.
Lol... im not hating... but I think you got a bias... im also especially not hating, cause my first ever gun was a springfield xdm 3.8 40 cal. Fun to shoot, reliable and just an all around good gun. I just built my first glock, its 9mm and I cant wait to try it out...but im also excited about trying an xdm 9mm... I hope I like the glock better...since I can build those😁 but I have a feeling im always gonna love an xdm more. Can't say enough for your first right?
TOTALLY understand, I wish I liked the Glock better, I just can't. Don't get me wrong, it is a OUTSTANDING gun, just not better than the Springfield..IMO. Working on the review of the XD-M Elite OSP....I AM EXCITED!!
You have a bench rest type setup for Springfield with venom sight, you did not show yourself shooting the Glock just results, really. Yes Springfield has match barrel and trigger but at least give it a honest chance.
I got 3 Glocks, 2 Springfields, 1 Ruger, 1 IWI Jericho... I personally don't care. I never had an issue with any of my pistols. I shoot them all good. They all feel great in my hand. They all almost look identical... I just bought the Springfields because they were cheaper and I carry them because I dropped my Glock 23 on the pavement and scratched it up.. I got the base model XD9 and the XDS9 Mod2. First one was $350 and second one was $450... 2 of my Glocks were $600 new plus I put $100 night sights on them. My little Glock 42 was only $300.. Really my favorite pistol is my IWI Jericho 941. Made in Israel and has an all steel frame. It's just too big and too heavy to carry in my waistband... I feel like it will outlast my other pistols. It's noticeably more accurate and doesn't have much recoil because it's heavier. It also looks badass and is hammer fire which is also pretty cool in my opinion.. It's more of a collector's piece to me and my go to pistol if SHTF... But basically I don't have much preference.. When I buy a pistol, I get whatever I want..

Should show a third group, a stock glock barrel grouping.
Did, in the Glock barrels review.
The original Glock barrel is already TOP, but many people can't handle the trigger, which creates large scatter circles and the grip angle is not optimal.
Looking into a xdm osp 10mm in the near future
Never own a Glock Never will. I have Three Springfield’s. I saw a Glock 19x been sitting at my local store for six months now.
I have 5 Springfields and 4 Glocks . I like them both
Still waiting for my XD-M Elite 4.5 OSP Threaded Handgun to arrive. 9mm with 22 round magazine (comes with 2).

They are more into quality tham quantity..Same is with helmets or rifels..When the first HS was produced, american FBI took it for official gun.. produced
You're outro is actually a REALLY nice and relaxing song!! And yes, I'm a black guy, from the north! 😂🤣
LOL, lost me on black guy from the north? You not supposed to like relaxing music? Sorry, not following.
@@BeyondSeclusion That's not what I'm saying... Just that you wouldn't think that I would appreciate it as much as I did... Don't necessarily listen to a lot of folksy southern type music that much, but what you chose was really nice...
@@BeyondSeclusion really appreciated the comparison video too! I just ordered two XDM Elite OSPs for me and my wife and while I knew SA made some good firearms, I wouldn't think anyone had compared it to a Glock and determined its superiority...I really appreciate it...
@@SOULSafeProductionZ OK, that makes sense. LOL

Wow awesome 🤩
Good thing I got both right?
The only reason I have a glock is because I bought the pc9. And the 2A
I totally agree with everything you said and said well, no brainers. I tell everybody you cant make my Springfield xd9 jam if you try if you do I'll kiss your @$$. In my opinion , Springfield is King of firearms.
Thank you!
Could you do the same test with cheaper guns? Maybe the M&P? A CZ? Even a canik tp9?
Same as with the Glock? Be more specific and I will see what I can do. I have a Ruger 9E and can probably get some others.
Good idea, may take me a bit to "get ahold" of them.
CZ doesn't really fall into the "cheaper" category.
To be fair to Glock, how does the Glock print on paper, out of the box, with its original OEM Polygonal Barrel and Trigger ??
It was in the video. Very comparable to the aftermarket ones.
I own 1 Springfield XD and 6 Glocks.
The Springfield XD has more metal parts than the Glock. For example steel guide rod, steel pins, steel magazine release,
steel takedown hangle, polished interior parts and stainless steel magazines that are super smooth to load. Also the XD trigger is more smooth than Glock. Also the sights are better along with the price.
Glock has a lot of plastic crap that break after 500 rounds. Also the magazines are super hard to load. Glocks are just overrated and that's way I have so many of them.
Yeah, a no brainer for sure!
They need to come out with the XDG
XD that uses Glock mags
No they don't glock fanboys say anything 😭😭
I take Springfield over Glock anyway but would have been nice to see you use the same optics in both for quality control.
Just picked up a DXm 9 super stoked just need a RMR
i am curious what springfield is coming out with on the 25 of the month.they quit making the xdm 9c.i bet its a double stack xde
I'll take a S&W M&P or Springfield XDM over any Glock any day. The Glock is the most uninspired firearm you can buy. The grip angle is all wrong.
Have a Springfield Xdm 10mm and a 40 cal S/W MP 2.0 love them both.
@@christopherarnett2851 Two great guns. I should mention I have a Glock 17 gen 4. I rarely take it to the range.
Does the Springfield suppressor height sights cowitness with the venom?
Yes they do
Greg Champion thank yoy
Thx 4 sharing & I have the same optic to put on my XDM ELITE , vortex venom
The glock was never designed for accuracy it's a combat handgun
What army would want an inaccurate handgun? Or rifle for that matter!!
My xd 40 is accurate and built well , like a tank.
@@slick777go accuracy goes out the window during a ginfight especially if trying to shoot a moving target that is shooting back
@@juniorruiz1146 hs produkt produces xdm for croatian army, so both are combat guns
So is the xdm.the croatian military uses xd's.sorry charlie but glock loses
You're right cause in combat you WANT TO die from inaccurate shot placement on the enemy 🤣🤣🤣
Lol... im not hating... but I think you got a bias... im also especially not hating, cause my first ever gun was a springfield xdm 3.8 40 cal.
Your video is good.
You 42 second intro though.
YOU DIDN'T TAKE YOUR TIME TO AIM THE SPRINGFIELD!
LOL....OK!
I like glockenspiel but I'd definitely choose a springfield all day...
I love my 10mm because it shoots laser beams!!!
I know that Glock makes a Great pistol but THIS SPRINGFIELD 9MM XDM OSP IS AMAZING !!!!!
Agree 110%, just got me one XD 9mm
people spend so much upgrading their glocks
You need to practice more and tighten up your shotgun group's
You have a bench rest type setup for Springfield with venom sight, you did not show yourself shooting the Glock just results, really. Yes Springfield has match barrel and trigger but at least give it a honest chance.
My bad, BOTH were shot the same way in accuracy tests. It was an honest review.
Lol sorry guy.the glock loses
Try xdm10 with bellot ;)
Out of the box without barrel break in is going to leave you with those groups.... Put a couple hundred rounds through it and test again
Ive never been impressed with glock.
DUDE you live in heavan
Hurr durr ilinois hurr durr grip zone
Hurr durr do you know where you should grip it?
