Mom, "Be nice!"
Never a more authentic exchange.
LOL right?? Love them
I couldn’t have related more when I heard dad say that!!! I’m laughing out loud!!
Nah look ua-cam.com/video/CNzWP1FL5Lw/v-deo.html
I'm sharing this with my husband!! Our daughters and son in law gave him a Traeger for Christmas and he's loving it! Haven't tried meatloaf. We moved to the countryside last year from the city and buy all our meat from our local butcher these days. The flavor is amazing!!
Nah look ua-cam.com/video/CNzWP1FL5Lw/v-deo.html
Nothing like the good stuff. Aged and cured proper time like they do is the absolute best.❤️
Plastic wonder ... ok.. still fun.
Meatloaf is my Wife’s safe-word in the bedroom (if you know what I mean)…. it means "I'll do anything for love, but I won't do that!!!”
Thanks for another great ‘Life’s Lessons’ video. Always entertaining and always appreciated. Cheers Brother!
It's all good QDM, entertaining and educating all at the same time brother, I appreciate the time you take to put these vids out
Thanks!
You're a good kid Quick! That meatload looks amazing. BMA knows moms cooking is always best😉😉
Another gooder, quick. Bma just knows what side his bread is buttered on
I’m a firm believer this man will never forget where he came from in life.. Family is important. You never know when your time will come and we won’t get the chance to spend time together. Thanks Quick Dick. From your Kansas Farmer..
🎶Paradise by the dashboard light🎶…oops sorry wrong Meatloaf. 👌🏻
Hahahah!
Me looking at your mother:
"I would do anything for love, BUT I WON'T DO THAT"
@@Rebelgamer-1111 Lol. My Mom would chew you up kid. Lol.
I know every word.
Excellent looking recipe!
The only thing that this Alberta boy sees that will make that meatloaf better, is ALBERTA beef haha. Have a great week to anyone reading this!
The Wife just smoked a brisket yesterday... so before I put away the smoker, I'm going to talk her into smoking a meatloaf!
That there's *REAL* good eatin'!!! Thanks, QDM!!
This guy just restored my faith in Canadians.
Thank you for this great supper idea! We are beef cattle farmers here in manitoba so of course we had to try your recipe out! We even have the burnt canoe spice as well and both my husband and I love it! We even have our own chicken butt nugget layers to help with this recipe! We made it in the oven but added some liquid smoke for flavor and it turned out great! Definitely making this again! Our whole family loves your videos! Keep them coming!
Great to hear!!
Quick, I couldn't agree with you more. Good food, good friends and family make for some good times.
Thanks for the video, we need more Canadians doing the fine art of smoking meat!!!!!
I fully appreciate your measuring while cooking, I get laughed at for doing the "close enough for who it's for" measuring!!! Another awesome video QDM 😀
Always Always Always support local farmers and ranchers. While we don’t use beef from Saskatchewan, SW Missouri beef and pork ain’t bad to use either. Thank You so much for taking time to make us laugh. If’n your ever in SW Missouri we’ll be there to see ya.
I'll bet that meatloaf is outstanding fresh out of the cooker, but HAWESOME as a cold sammich. YUMMMMM
God now i want meatloaf. Unfortunately living in Louisiana in the US, Canadian beef would take to long to get here. Am gonna order some of those spices though. Keep it up QDM!
I just found your channel a few weeks ago. I have been watching some of your older videos as they pop up in my recommendations. I really enjoy the mixture of important topics that you talk about & the fact that you also mix in some comedy. I do not live in Canada. I live in Minnesota in the USA but I think we have a lot of the same issues in our countries. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I came across the cooking videos. I love them. The meatloaf looked absolutely delicious. I am going to go find some beef & have a meal now after seeing the meatloaf. Thanks for taking the time to make videos for us to enjoy.
Thanks my friend!
Hey Quick, I know you're flying the Canadian flag, but over here in Ireland what I hear you saying is support your local community. Love your stuff. Watch them to the end. Keep up the good work.
You don't know how much your broadcasts mean to some of us! Keep up the great work!❤
Thanks so much!
I always love your videos I'm from the east New Brunswick but my grandfather was born in Saskatchewan Fillmore Knoll was named after our family. You are so right buy Canadian. My grade parents had a small beef farm I grew up across the road from it it made me who I am to day. We grew Hertfords but the farm is done now said to see it sold but glad it went to good people. I still buy local meat you can't beat it.
I Love what you do Sir. I support all of the things you do. I Buy Canadian. Beef from 3Kms away. T shirts from you. I just ordered over $100 in spices from Kitchen Hero. Keep on doing what you do.
Thanks my friend!
Well said and well cooked QD it does indeed look yummy. Good reminder too for us all to support Canadian Ag. As mad as we can be at the Feds, our local businesses still deserve our support.
I sure look forward to seeing as much of you as I can. GL and here's to wishing for a great winter in advance!
My husband is making this now. We love beef! Your cows love you, I can see it when you show them to us. God bless ya QDM and love to your Mum n Dad.
Great video and I like your meatloaf recipe. The only problem is that I’ll have to go buy a smoker so I can make it.
This was so funny. I like your fancy brown sugar canister! :)
Never tried oats in my meatloaf. Interesting. I cut up a big chunk of old Canadian cheddar and throw it into the mix. ❤️
Love your cooking videos. As a dad with two grown boys, meat is what we eat. Local always! Keep it simple, that makes all the flavour. Always good to see "the girls" looking healthy. Cheers from the Left Coast.
I could taste my mom's meatloaf while watching this. I'm inspired to make one... from BC beef though of course! I love your cooking episodes the most and happily sat through the 17 mins! 🥩
from quebec, i use to be a butcher for 15 years, and i love our canadian beef, is just the best, tender and juicy all the way, thank for your video.
My mom and dad have both passed some years ago now. QDM is right, NEVER miss an opportunity to spend time with your folks today because you will dearly miss them tomorrow. I'd give anything to be able to go have dinner with my folks today
I thought I was the only one. Thanks for backing this up.
Whew, I was very glad you explained a minute in that we were not talking about the Marvin Aday of Meatloafs. Had me worried for a second!
Hello sir!
From Alberta !
Your such an honest hard working dude!
Much Respect!
My son and I watch you every chance we get! Love your content!
Carry on good sir with all that you do because you inspire alot of people these days as times are becoming a tad harsher....
Cheers! 🍻
I appreciate that
We love smoking beef! My Husband just learned how to smoke brisket and it was almost a whole 24 hr affair but the result was fabulous. Thanks for all the great videos which help make the annoyances of everyday a little brighter! ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Chef Quick Dick does it again ❤. I wish I was there to help you eat that masterpiece 👍When you promote Sask beef I totally agree. We just finished eating a smoked brisket purchased from a local Sask ranch who also retail their beef. Was better than any brisket you could buy at the store (red angus) Looking forward to your next cooking venture 👍👍
Chicken parts and smashed tomatoes-brilliant. Thank you so much.
Looks real good, I'm going to have to try this soon. My "vacation" from hydraulic pumps this summer was taking a few days off to build a 9' tall wood burning smoker out of an old 1/2" thick boiler shell.
Greetings from Kuroki SK
Good evening QDM
Looks very yummy!!!
Yes, if your folks are still around, take the time to visit with them!
Dads been gone 4.5 years, my wife's mom just passed a few weeks ago... Just found out this morning, that an awesome farm wife I have known for 40 years, has passed... Even though we have taken the time to visit them all.. we need to try to make a little more time for the singles that are left. Thank you for the awesome cooking video and the great reminder!! 🥃🥃🍻
Well said my friend
Right on man. I add sweet corn to my meatloaf. Now I'm going to try oats.
Always make time for family an friends no matter how busy ya are.

I'm rolling through your archive of vids so late to the party but damn bud, Im going to start up the smoker this weekend!
Who needs Gordon Ramsey "I know who" just love watching all of your videos, I know what you mean, over here in England, I look at where it comes from, eat local produced meat, as for the garlic, grown in China, what's that all about 😎
We're waiting for you in BC! (Vancouver/Surrey area) o7!
Love garlic too lol I love when I open the fridge an have some garlic sausage in there lol I found a garlic farm 20min from my place down in the farming country the cloves are huge 10$ a pound is what she charges and they make their own garlic powder I ordered 3lbs of garlic and a bottle of powdered in the spring I just got it a month ago cost me 40$ came in a little burlap baggy definitely ordering more next year
Looked excellent. Quick Tip McDick: thaw your beef in a sink full of cold, never warm, water. Keeps the e.coli away. We got a whack of snow in Southern Alberta, too. Need the moisture. Been a while since I had to shovel my way out to the BBQ. Had to take a fortifier in case of a survival situation. You can’t be too careful.
chef Quick reserve a table for us ,2 .looks mighty good my compliments the chef
love the bachelor cooking... awesome. and now i want meatloaf. the Canadian beef kind... not the other kind.....lol
A longy, from Quicky !! Would love to come over there and see ya show, maybe a few of em, Thanks for the video matey.
Well, another delish meal with QDMD, When you reach SW Missouri, I'd be glad to shake your hand!
Saw you on real talk today with jespo and thought you were great hilarious and real. I’m a follower now. We have a smoker and love meatloaf can’t wait to try

Love it!!!👍❤️ Not only do you show practical techniques but the true Canadian way even if it’s snowing!! Great vid inclusive of tips and measurements 😆👍🇨🇦
Yeah man! All points on par. Was calling out the ingredients to the old lady just before you said a new one, especially the mustard aha; she was dying. We are spot on same in Alberta for how it should be done too. More fun than most cooking channels . Bring back the loaf!
Awesome video. When you live in big smoke Vancouver it's a refreshing breath watching your videos. That meatloaf looked awesome. You are a fine Canadian sir. Thanks.
Thank you for the long form video Mr McDick. I’m laid up after a job site accident a week ago and this video made for a perfect Monday distraction.
Hope you get better my friend!
I'm in Ontario and love your channel, hope everything works out with Bill c11 , great honest good clean fun!!!
Just so you know QD, I listen to almost everything on YT at 1.5 speed, except for your videos. Never in a hurry to get to the end of your stuff. Thanks for the great content and laughs from the Porcupine Cabin in Ontario.
Thx!
This recipe is interesting 🤔 I will try! I spent my time with my mom on Sunday when I can video chat with her. She's remains in 🇮🇹. But I chose Canada for rest of my days. 💜👍
Now that's a loaf! Um looking forward towards trying the recipe! Appreciate you my friend QDMD, Luv&Peace from the RM of 136 looking forward towards seeing you one day over a box of beer, anytime your close to speedy creek give me a shout, got a fridge full of beer & other treats let's shoot some clays or take a Chrysler 300c hemi for a boot & do some crop circles Bro! Lol Luv&Peace. A hello to your family Cheers!🙂✌🏼
Sounds great my friend!
I'm doing this with venison. And thanks for the end message. I have been working too much. Thanks, Dick !!

Love your videos. A true working canadian farmer.
Good lesson quick! I enjoy smoking meals and make sure my parents reap the rewards regularly.
Good ol country cooking, love it👌👍✌️
My mouth is officially watering and I am a lot more hungry now than I thought I was....lol

Thanks from Alberta Quick! I know Saskatchewan beef is great, but I can’t wait to try this with some good ole Alberta Wapiti. 😋
I love your statement about family.
Watch for the second time, going to try your meatloaf. Well done.
Quick, come to Ontario, we'd love to have yah. Keep up the good work.
Lucky enough to have yer folks still around…got that right. Lovem while they are still here. Yer the man!
Preesh the videos. mp
As a trained cook I was impressed with your knife skills on that onion!! Your meatloaf looked delicious. :)
Well thanks!
Greetings from the still dark south Okanagan QDM. The recipe is very close to what I came up with about 20 years ago for BC beef - or wild game too. If you brown your onions first - I know, I know, it takes longer - but if you do it brings out the sweetness a bit. With you 100% on rolled oats - try it people! Doing a meatloaf on a rack or even in the oven on a cookie sheet - heresy again - will allow the crusty coating goodness. I grew up with meatloaf in a pan, but the mounded method is THE WAY to go. Thanks for the tip on the spices, I'll have to get some of that coming this way.
Using the song from the game Tropico....outstanding
Looks awesome QDM! Beats anything the Galloping Gourmet could produce.
BMA may take a little flack from Mom while on video BUT Mom appreciates that Dad loves her cooking best! Great video QDM.
I never thought about smoking meatloaf. Will have to try it!
I always look forward to and enjoy your video's, QDM. Your humor and outlooks are very appreciated. Even more so, your sense of what is right, and your attachments to family and community always shine through.
😂😂😂 You are Awesome 😂😂😂 I love the cooking improv. Thanks so much as always.😂👏👏👏👏
I REALLY LIKE your Tupperware Spice Containers with the nice PINK LIDS 😂🤣
