I'm getting home sick from Canada. following you from Norway. dairy farmer here. workt in langenburg 20 years ago. still miss the people. we moved from Holland to Norway to farm. but the people is what Miss from Canada. keep up the good work
We raise, sell, & eat our Angus beef here in Iowa. Your right, nothing better than home raised local meat! Thanks for sharing your delicious meat loaf recipe & promoting beef!
I'm sharing this with my husband!! Our daughters and son in law gave him a Traeger for Christmas and he's loving it! Haven't tried meatloaf. We moved to the countryside last year from the city and buy all our meat from our local butcher these days. The flavor is amazing!!
I’m a firm believer this man will never forget where he came from in life.. Family is important. You never know when your time will come and we won’t get the chance to spend time together. Thanks Quick Dick. From your Kansas Farmer..
Thank you for this great supper idea! We are beef cattle farmers here in manitoba so of course we had to try your recipe out! We even have the burnt canoe spice as well and both my husband and I love it! We even have our own chicken butt nugget layers to help with this recipe! We made it in the oven but added some liquid smoke for flavor and it turned out great! Definitely making this again! Our whole family loves your videos! Keep them coming!
I fully appreciate your measuring while cooking, I get laughed at for doing the "close enough for who it's for" measuring!!! Another awesome video QDM 😀
Meatloaf is my Wife’s safe-word in the bedroom (if you know what I mean)…. it means "I'll do anything for love, but I won't do that!!!” Thanks for another great ‘Life’s Lessons’ video. Always entertaining and always appreciated. Cheers Brother!
Excellent looking recipe! The only thing that this Alberta boy sees that will make that meatloaf better, is ALBERTA beef haha. Have a great week to anyone reading this!
The Wife just smoked a brisket yesterday... so before I put away the smoker, I'm going to talk her into smoking a meatloaf! That there's *REAL* good eatin'!!! Thanks, QDM!!
Always Always Always support local farmers and ranchers. While we don’t use beef from Saskatchewan, SW Missouri beef and pork ain’t bad to use either. Thank You so much for taking time to make us laugh. If’n your ever in SW Missouri we’ll be there to see ya.
I just found your channel a few weeks ago. I have been watching some of your older videos as they pop up in my recommendations. I really enjoy the mixture of important topics that you talk about & the fact that you also mix in some comedy. I do not live in Canada. I live in Minnesota in the USA but I think we have a lot of the same issues in our countries. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I came across the cooking videos. I love them. The meatloaf looked absolutely delicious. I am going to go find some beef & have a meal now after seeing the meatloaf. Thanks for taking the time to make videos for us to enjoy.
Well said and well cooked QD it does indeed look yummy. Good reminder too for us all to support Canadian Ag. As mad as we can be at the Feds, our local businesses still deserve our support. I sure look forward to seeing as much of you as I can. GL and here's to wishing for a great winter in advance!
I always love your videos I'm from the east New Brunswick but my grandfather was born in Saskatchewan Fillmore Knoll was named after our family. You are so right buy Canadian. My grade parents had a small beef farm I grew up across the road from it it made me who I am to day. We grew Hertfords but the farm is done now said to see it sold but glad it went to good people. I still buy local meat you can't beat it.
Hey Quick, I know you're flying the Canadian flag, but over here in Ireland what I hear you saying is support your local community. Love your stuff. Watch them to the end. Keep up the good work.
Love your cooking videos. As a dad with two grown boys, meat is what we eat. Local always! Keep it simple, that makes all the flavour. Always good to see "the girls" looking healthy. Cheers from the Left Coast.
Right on man. I add sweet corn to my meatloaf. Now I'm going to try oats. Always make time for family an friends no matter how busy ya are. So from north central Ohio enjoy the winter .
I could taste my mom's meatloaf while watching this. I'm inspired to make one... from BC beef though of course! I love your cooking episodes the most and happily sat through the 17 mins! 🥩
God now i want meatloaf. Unfortunately living in Louisiana in the US, Canadian beef would take to long to get here. Am gonna order some of those spices though. Keep it up QDM!
I Love what you do Sir. I support all of the things you do. I Buy Canadian. Beef from 3Kms away. T shirts from you. I just ordered over $100 in spices from Kitchen Hero. Keep on doing what you do.
Hello sir! From Alberta ! Your such an honest hard working dude! Much Respect! My son and I watch you every chance we get! Love your content! Carry on good sir with all that you do because you inspire alot of people these days as times are becoming a tad harsher.... Cheers! 🍻
Awesome video. When you live in big smoke Vancouver it's a refreshing breath watching your videos. That meatloaf looked awesome. You are a fine Canadian sir. Thanks.
We love smoking beef! My Husband just learned how to smoke brisket and it was almost a whole 24 hr affair but the result was fabulous. Thanks for all the great videos which help make the annoyances of everyday a little brighter! ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
I really love your cooking episodes. They're like a cooking show...only like...for real man! I will definately try your meat loaf, got to vary a bit with the moose grind! Thanks for what you Do!
Love it!!!👍❤️ Not only do you show practical techniques but the true Canadian way even if it’s snowing!! Great vid inclusive of tips and measurements 😆👍🇨🇦
Looks real good, I'm going to have to try this soon. My "vacation" from hydraulic pumps this summer was taking a few days off to build a 9' tall wood burning smoker out of an old 1/2" thick boiler shell. Greetings from Kuroki SK
Meatloaf looked awesome. Love and appreciate all your videos and all that you do to support this great country of ours. People like yourself really make a difference in our lives. Keep up the great work and a huge thank you from the east coast. Scott
I always look forward to and enjoy your video's, QDM. Your humor and outlooks are very appreciated. Even more so, your sense of what is right, and your attachments to family and community always shine through.
I have been a fan of your video for about 2 years now and I am at the airport going to navy boot camp right now. Keep up the good work and keep posting videos I might not be able to see them for a about 8 weeks but there is a lot of people that love them.

Yeah man! All points on par. Was calling out the ingredients to the old lady just before you said a new one, especially the mustard aha; she was dying. We are spot on same in Alberta for how it should be done too. More fun than most cooking channels . Bring back the loaf!
Saw you on real talk today with jespo and thought you were great hilarious and real. I’m a follower now. We have a smoker and love meatloaf can’t wait to try
You are really quite something Quick, you are totally awesome. Been watching for sometime now and can't get enough of your videos, never disappointing. Keep up the great work, and keep them coming.
Been thinking of this since I grilled one on a weber this summer (mostly out of not wanting to turn the oven on for an hour on a 95° day) unfortunately I don't have room for a smoker on my tiny deck. It turned out great! The smoke ring and meat candy really added to the meatloaf sandwichs I put together!
Greetings from the still dark south Okanagan QDM. The recipe is very close to what I came up with about 20 years ago for BC beef - or wild game too. If you brown your onions first - I know, I know, it takes longer - but if you do it brings out the sweetness a bit. With you 100% on rolled oats - try it people! Doing a meatloaf on a rack or even in the oven on a cookie sheet - heresy again - will allow the crusty coating goodness. I grew up with meatloaf in a pan, but the mounded method is THE WAY to go. Thanks for the tip on the spices, I'll have to get some of that coming this way.
@@QuickDickMcDick Hey QMD thought you would want to know theres someone whose using your name or brand to sell investments .The number used is an Arizona area code thought you might want to know.Have a good one.
Looked excellent. Quick Tip McDick: thaw your beef in a sink full of cold, never warm, water. Keeps the e.coli away. We got a whack of snow in Southern Alberta, too. Need the moisture. Been a while since I had to shovel my way out to the BBQ. Had to take a fortifier in case of a survival situation. You can’t be too careful.
My mom and dad have both passed some years ago now. QDM is right, NEVER miss an opportunity to spend time with your folks today because you will dearly miss them tomorrow. I'd give anything to be able to go have dinner with my folks today
Chef Quick Dick does it again ❤. I wish I was there to help you eat that masterpiece 👍When you promote Sask beef I totally agree. We just finished eating a smoked brisket purchased from a local Sask ranch who also retail their beef. Was better than any brisket you could buy at the store (red angus) Looking forward to your next cooking venture 👍👍
I like the idea of the Canoe spice and I might give it a try sometime soon. Thanks again for all you do, and I really like sense of humour Quickerthanmost. Have a fantastic day today and the weekend ahead of you and your family there in stubble jumping country lol 😂
