    OK, so I have to tell you. I just subscribed, mainly because you and I are at about the same skill level and I've gained a few tips from watching you work.
    I wish I had a Lathe like you and a stand for my metal band-saw.
    But the way you approach a task is smart and straightforward and you don't seem to have too much wasted motion.

    Excellent craftsmanship bruh. The one detail that I'd add is if you're planning on running a closed primary, the bottom end of the lever where its welded to the plate has to have a little clearance otherwise the inner primary wont fit. Much love and respect from Milwaukee

    That big hunk of metal is going to rip that ratchet live apart.
    If you're to start with a hand shift Top, that was the old school way.
    Because she'll made a light weight shift her handle.
