It's amazing how you are able to recall how each ramen experience you have had at each restaurant as compared to their instant ramen👏🍜. Always fun to watch you and your brother share the experience of eating Ramen
Right now, I am more into fish flavor instant ramen. If I am not cooking pork chasu or chicken, usually the pork that comes with it is pretty bad. Instant Ramen with fish flavor usually comes with dry fish, which I think it goes better with instant ramen packaging.
Nice to see you back Frank. I love love these videos. How do you remember all the nuances of all the ramens you’ve tried? It’s really quite amazing. Enjoyed seeing your brother take part in this too. Take care 😊🇨🇦🎄
It is awesome that you found out Frank does a personalized ramen tour in Japan. I would love to take one if I am ever there. I only found out through BEFRS that he does this
Welcome back Frank Sama. Happy to enjoy a new review of wonderful ramen. Hope your journey across japan never ends and bring us lots of over the top ramen restaurants with your personal review. Best Wishes on this season.
A little bit of a break on the channel...thanks for waiting and watching! Will keep eating ramen across the country for as long as I'm able to 😃 Happy Holidays to you too!
Hi Frank! I know you've written about Roast Beef Abura Soba in Shinjuku: Beast and sadly that place closed in 2020 :( They had a really good oil noodle dish. I'm hoping to devour something like it again when I go to Japan next year (here's hoping). Got any recommendations?
Yes, I heard they closed! A shame indeed. Not roast beef but here are some other spots for abura soba in Tokyo: www.5amramen.com/post/chinchintei-tokyo-abura-soba www.5amramen.com/post/abura-soba-soupless-ramen www.5amramen.com/post/bubuka-ramen-in-kichijoji www.5amramen.com/post/ochiai-ramen-chukasoba-chigonoki
How does the Raoh compare to Nakiryu? I liked Nakiryu instant ramen way better than Tsuta’s but Tsuta is my favorite in person but haven’t made it to Nakiryu in person. Jealous for all the great instant ramen you have access to that we don’t in the US
The Raoh one is definitely richer than Nakiryu...the latter has more of a sour taste from the vinegar as well. You'll need to try Nakiryu in person to compare it as well!
Some styles of tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen have razor thin noodles...angel hair noodles might provide a similar experience...but they don't include "kansui" (alkaline mineral water). So different in the texture department 😃
@@5AMRamen So the noodles like angel hair pasta or most of the pastas in the west would have difficulty absorbing the flavors of the soup? Do you think fresh made aka homemade pasta would have a better chance if your making your own ramen at home or using up seasoning packs from when you used the noodles in other recipes.

Dude is walking Ramen Encyclopedia 🔥🔥🔥
@@DrthmN Agreed 1000%
Ramen memories stick with me well...although I might have trouble remembering a lot of other things 😃Thanks for watching!
@@5AMRamen Would love to see you personally open a Ramen restaurant Frank
All about the rich ramen 😍😍
Haha yeah, these all got your name on them...not just the first 2.
Frank, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 5 bowls you sent--these were so superior to anything else we have tried! Thanks again!
Thank you for ordering and I'm very happy to hear that! They're not messing around with the instant ramen here 😊

Fish flavored instant ramen is great! Dried fish can indeed be a nice changeup as topping instead of pork too.
In cold weather, I am craving the white miso ramen. What a nice surprise how closely it looked to the original. Oishi!
Oishikatta desu! That bowl is a perfect winter companion, at the shop or instant!

Happy to be back! I don't think I always have the best memory...but when it comes to ramen, it seems to better intact 😅
Maruchan always come up clutch at this hour in the morning
Yes they do!
Those all look fantastically rich👍😊
Yes indeed! Rich to the max.
Numbers 2 ad 5 sound and look amazing
We’re really looking forward to meeting you in March for a Ramen tour Frank 👋😁

we just got back from eating ramen...it was so good.....
Nice timing! Nothing like the feeling after eating ramen.

Awesome, those look like fantastic bowls of ramen!! Urgh, can't wait to have money 😂😭
Happy Halloween...lol. When that day arrives, reach out and we'll set up a ramen box with some extra goodies!
@@5AMRamen ❤😋 I can't wait
Dammit i only have a usual local instant noodle here but i gueass i must give it a go haha.
I'm sure they'll still hit the spot!
I wish we had these Premium Instant Ramen here in Austria. I know i can order it online.
Can you sent to Australia?
Yes, we can!
How would ramen look with angel hair pasta style noodles, I wonder.

Fun to watch you enjoy your ramen, but you shouldn’t play music in the background while you talk.
Thanks for watching! I kind of like the music though but will keep that in mind 😃
