Back in that year, official Skoda site didn't provide this 4 min version. Instead, make it smaller in 2 different versions with one same song. And no one provide information about the main song as well.
It's interesting, bc i remember that the song's credits were written in the bottom of the video. That was the first and last time i have seen something like that. (It's not here now but it was on that short tv version. And i've seen that in Turkey, maybe it was different in other countries.)
Hey Rockarco, yes, you are right. In the meantime it has the same techonolgy as Volkswagen. However I have to say that SKODA is more looking good than a VW and what the best of a SKODA is, is the absolutely proper low price what you will get for a car.
Both are from the same Band "Frameless". I think that this version here was a little bit updated only for the commercial of Skoda. Therefore I think they used the original for the Skoda Octavia Combi.
It's no fortune to look like the old VW Passat. The Skoda Octavia is built on the VW Golf platform and belongs to the VW group. But you are right, if I can chose between the Passat or Octavia, I would take once more the Octavia. The luggage trunk is easier to load. Therefore I think the VW group don't want to disturb their own market in the US to sell only VW cars. That they are selling Daewoo in the US I think it's the problem that the brand is in Chevrolet hands, so they try to sell them too.

Yes, you are right, but for the Skoda Octavia II Combi they improved the song. I like both but a bit more the Combi version. :-)
engine is only a part of car, not all of it. Also some engines were developed by Skoda itself and than used in VW group cars.
