I initially was using some pretty poor quality batteries that do not last very long. They lasted me about 5 weeks I believe, I was impressed. That was with me using the board around 40-60 hours a week. I switched to better ones at that point and the batteries are still going strong. However I switched to using a different board a few weeks ago and won't use that one much anymore.
Nope, super simple to work on. Only issue I had was that the top left corner of the case was smashed in when it arrived so I had to cut it up a bit to keep ESC from catching.
2 AAA. I use the 2.4 so just plugged it in and got to typing. I've been using it daily for a while, around 10 hours a day, and haven't had a single issue.
They don’t sound too bad actually, especially given that I didn’t replace them. Can’t expect durock screw in sounds from a keeb that costs as much as a good trip to Subway.
@@elvismathew5077 the keeb itself isn’t terrible, but it’s cheaper out on basically everywhere other than silicone between the pcb and plate. So don’t expect a miracle without some extensive modding like I did lol. All in all I lubed switches and stabs, holee mod, bandaid on pcb mod, PE foam on pcb, neoprene under the pcb, and thicker keycaps. I think almost anything will sound good like that.
@@ethanashby4305 yeah, thanks, i might do the same mods as you but change the stabs to durock plate mount, appreciate it. also how is the bluetooth connectivity?
Nice video! U fast dude :D
Thanks! I haven’t actually tried to see how fast I can type…now I want to.
Wow planning on using the same switches I’ll probably have to steal your build lol
Do it! I’ve been spending months on a different, pretty extreme build but I love this one so much im not sure if I’ll even finish the other 😂
cant wait for my keeb to arrive!
Same one? What’s coming?
@@ethanashby4305 yea its the same one
how long did it take for u
@@glock850 It was a few months but was also a preorder at the time. No idea what shipping time is like

I'm actually going to do exactly the same build except just some different keycaps, anything I should be worried about?
Nope, super simple to work on. Only issue I had was that the top left corner of the case was smashed in when it arrived so I had to cut it up a bit to keep ESC from catching.
@@ethanashby4305 I'll try and keep note of that, thanks!
what batteries does it need and any problems connecting it?

why are the stabilizers so terrible?

No latency on 2.4ghz mode?
None that I've noticed at all
what kind of gateron yellows is this?
Just basic Gat Yellows. They came with my GK96S
@@ethanashby4305 was it clear housings? how do you think this will sound with gateron ks-3?
@@elvismathew5077 I haven’t used them, I don’t know. But they are pretty similar switches so it wouldn’t be far off. Yes clear housings.
