My main concern about that ASUS Rog Flow is the likelihood of the battery bloating and damaging the screen, if it's used for high performance, heat-causing tasks like gaming. That's what happened to me with the 1st gen Surface Book back in the day, at first I thought I just had a bad unit, but then the same thing happened to the replacement they gave me after only a few months. Why do the new Zephyrus G16 (2025) laptops feature weaker processors compared to last year’s models? Dropping the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in favor of a Ryzen AI 7 350 is a clear downgrade. This Zephyrus G16 2025 takes a step forward with its GPUs but a step back with its CPU. Amd laptop chips are (somehow) more expensive than the intel ones and intel has (somehow) a better battery life than amd (for g16 & g14 models)
It beggars belief.
Intel pays vendors to to exclude their competitor (AMD) from the best specs.

No update on Flow X13 series? Also is the new XG mobile backwards compatible to older X13 models?
Do we have a release date for the scar 18?

G16 DUO updates for 2025? 🤔
Hey guys, what do you think about getting a used
ROG G15 with a 3070ti, Ryzen 6900, 16GB DDR5, 2K 16:9
or a brand new
ROG G16 with a 4060, 13450HX, 16GB DDR5, 2K 16:10?
The price is the same.
Looking for advice on which one to choose!
When will they be available?
How much battery trade off are we looking at for all these flashy lightings?
Is the TUF Series getting any improvements?
No 4k screens?
Hello, I would greatly appreciate a video comparing OLED and Mini LED for gaming. This along with the Legion laptops, seem to be among the top options this year.
Thanks Jarrod for this recap.
Do you recommand this one or the Proart Px13 with rtx 4070 for editing ?
Very excited about Legion laptops this time. They OLED this year🎉
The lid led light up design is pretty unnecessary imo
I dont like laptop with soldered RAM .its a pain to fix if the RAM solder crack
3:27 wait a min Wifi 7 ??? Does that mean it also wont release in india like Ps5 pro coz of wifi 7 its not released in india coz wifi 7 connection is not available here
I'm sad that they don't relaunch a Flow X16
Could be coming later, no word on a zephyrus duo either
great review Jarrod, can't wait for the in house ones coming up later.
Please cover legion laptops 😔
Do you think is it worth to get the new g14 or get the g14 32gb with 4070 (2024) for 1900 usd?
Looks like Asus is really going all out this year. I have an 18" Strix with 4080, which is maxed out for my use. But, boy these new models certainly have my attention!
Cheers
Rick
ASUS, how much did Intel pay you to limit the AMD Zephrus G16 to 8GB of VRAM?
The big question I have, is if the new machine's 3rd small fan is still high pitched or not. It straight up ruined last gen for me. As soon as that third fan would start to spin up, it just hurt my ears.
Will 5070 laptop gpu will be underwhelming like the nerfed 4070?
Did Asus stopped their m16 series?
Its been a while since i followed chips news, is the 9955hx3d really better than intel ultra for laptop?
Im planning to buy a zephyrus G16, is it worth it to get the 2025 version or save it on the 2024 version?
Glad they upgraded the speakers. I hope this laptop gets Zephyrus G16 speaks from last year. Those were really amazing.
Not sure why they didn't go with OOLED panel, 285HX, and 3.1 2x2 ports instead. Those are some quetionable choices.
So you can plug that XG mobile to a MacBook or a Snapdragon laptop?
Are you able to do an msi review? I been happy with those laptops the most so far.
Is that possible to see 5070 and 5070ti in scar models??
