What are we supposed to look like at any given age? It's a question that appears repeatedly online-and we certainly hear it in our heads as we look in the mirror. With the beauty industry bigger than it's ever been (it was valued at nearly $430 billion globally in 2022), it's no wonder we're all confused. In the interest of transparency, we asked a group of 52-year-olds to tell us exactly which cosmetic procedures they've had done, how much money they spend on their skin per year, and the details of their skin care routines.

At this rate, I'm definitely doomed. My 365, 4-season daily routine is rose hip oil, rosewater, a toner, Vaseline for my lips and exfoliator...all of which I only buy when they're on special 🤷🏿‍♀️

Way too much! Lol! I use, water, Keri lotion and eyeliner, with a touch of lip balm. I'm almost 52, people think I look 35.
