That’s why even with a cage, you should be wearing a helmet. In every motor sport they wear helmets, even with the most sophisticated and strongest cages possible.
Main reason for this is to prevent your head from hitting one of the roll bars. Even with rollbar padding if you hit your head on one of those bars you be on a one way trip to skull fracture town.
I was in the ICU with a man that lost his arm from a RZR rollover. He kept talking about the phantom pain. I was in there from a different accident. I was lucky enough to keep my arm thanks to god and the great surgeon's. This was 2 years ago, im still healing.

Things fail sometimes you just never know whats gonna happen. That's why even on a cruise you should wear a helmet. My dad pounded that into the head I still have. Its just common sense.
I've rolled one of these 4 times in a similar situation, except I rolled ass over nose. I had my buddy in the passenger seat when it happened and durring the rolls his head hit the dirt; I didn't have nets. The reason he is still alive and well is because we had helmets on. His helmet had a six inch crack around where his temple was, around witch some rocks impeded themselves. We both learned the importance of helmets that day.

When going through dips in the ground or over hills you slow down to a crawl and see how big the drop is but he was going way to fast to slow down I see people use helmets when there riding inside sand Rails which are good 150k more than a razor and have a 10x better Rollcage

I just got road rash on my ass and threw away my gasoline soaked shoes but my foot was pinned under the roll-bar. No serious injuries to me but i never got in anything with him unless i had a helmet and it had a harness after that, oh this was a few years ago so I’d say we were 12-ish and the kid airlifted was about 16.

Eh; I raced short dirt track a long time ago (mini-sprints mostly); not 120k but somewhere around 60k-75k mark. Like everyone else's mentions; parts are made to break and fall, crumple; keeps the driver from dying in a accident and absorbing the force. The frame "usually" didn't bend; but that wasn't always true. Ironically, roll overs and multiple flip accidents actually hurt the least; its the wall smacks that hurt the most. They key thing in this vid; he had two most critical things; 1. roll cage, 2. 5 point harness.

Hi! I'm the girl in this video! All the traffic this is getting is hilarious and confusing to me, and these comments are gold. That was a very fun weekend. I wanted to say a few things here: 1. Yes, I did find my glasses! 2. No, I didn't lose my gum! 3. Tyler (the driver) is nice guy and a gentleman who apologized profusely for the thigh-grab and whose first instinct was to get me out of the RZR first. 4. No serious injuries. Just some aches and bruises. We water-skied the next day. 5. No concussion or memory loss, but my aunt who is an EMT told us after watching this that the added weight of the helmets probably would have snapped our necks. Although, in a perfect situation, wearing a helmet would have been a good decision. 6. We are 18 and 20 years old. We did something stupid and will probably continue to do stupid things well into our adulthood. Thanks for watching! My neck doesn't hurt anymore. :)

As a former race car driver of 11 years i can tell you that was totally driver error. His hands placement on the steeering wheel was wrong. Also they didnt have the racing belts tight enough. Fortunately they held up. Should have been wearing helmets too

Jacob Prince I understand ive rode since I was 6. Thats why I feel out the terf before I go balls to the wall with a passenger. You dont see racers without helmets. Things fail sometimes you just never know whats gonna happen. That's why even on a cruise you should wear a helmet. My dad pounded that into the head I still have. Its just common sense.
I've rolled one of these 4 times in a similar situation, except I rolled ass over nose. I had my buddy in the passenger seat when it happened and durring the rolls his head hit the dirt; I didn't have nets. The reason he is still alive and well is because we had helmets on. His helmet had a six inch crack around where his temple was, around witch some rocks impeded themselves. We both learned the importance of helmets that day.

When going through dips in the ground or over hills you slow down to a crawl and see how big the drop is but he was going way to fast to slow down I see people use helmets when there riding inside sand Rails which are good 150k more than a razor and have a 10x better Rollcage

The only thing good about the video is they had harnesses and were using them, but they should have been a lot tighter and they should have been wearing helmets. Kid got airlifted to the hospital with a broken collarbone because my friend decided it was smart to get 7 people in a utility mule. I just got road rash on my ass and threw away my gasoline soaked shoes but my foot was pinned under the roll-bar. No serious injuries to me but i never got in anything with him unless i had a helmet and it had a harness after that, oh this was a few years ago so I’d say we were 12-ish and the kid airlifted was about 16.

Eh; I raced short dirt track a long time ago (mini-sprints mostly); not 120k but somewhere around 60k-75k mark. Like everyone else's mentions; parts are made to break and fall, crumple; keeps the driver from dying in a accident and absorbing the force. The frame "usually" didn't bend; but that wasn't always true.
Ironically, roll overs and multiple flip accidents actually hurt the least; its the wall smacks that hurt the most.

Hi! I'm the girl in this video! All the traffic this is getting is hilarious and confusing to me, and these comments are gold. That was a very fun weekend. I wanted to say a few things here:
1. Yes, I did find my glasses!
2. No, I didn't lose my gum!
3. Tyler (the driver) is nice guy and a gentleman who apologized profusely for the thigh-grab and whose first instinct was to get me out of the RZR first.
4. No serious injuries. Just some aches and bruises. We water-skied the next day.
5. No concussion or memory loss, but my aunt who is an EMT told us after watching this that the added weight of the helmets probably would have snapped our necks. Although, in a perfect situation, wearing a helmet would have been a good decision.
6. We are 18 and 20 years old. We did something stupid and will probably continue to do stupid things well into our adulthood.
Thanks for watching! My neck doesn't hurt anymore. :)

As a former race car driver of 11 years i can tell you that was totally driver error. His hands placement on the steeering wheel was wrong. Also they didnt have the racing belts tight enough. Fortunately they held up. Should have been wearing helmets too
