I honestly think if this game could make it to other consoles, its system was tweaked a little, and the roster had some new units it could easily rise back up to the top.
I would love to see it mainstream, especially since my favorite Pokémon made it as one of the fighters
This is the best Pokemon has ever looked graphically, but the fact that it has a limited roster, never goes on sale, and has an extremely limited/non existant storymode I can't bring myself to it. would love to see a sequel that helps remedy the issues I listed.

This game looks really good! I did play the Wii U Version of this game but to be able to play the new one is even better because most fans who play the older one would really know what to do from the start.
I forgot about this game until legends Arceus came out. definitely one of my favorites though. And I'm surprised the game is still not dead though. It's quite old yet still isn't dead.

Is this game active online? I mean is there a lot of players who still play this online?
I stopped playing cause I accidentally uninstalled the game reinstalled it and when I did the blastoise and aegislash dlc were not working and like 99% of everytime I tried playing it wouldn't start up any matches or even the training dojo. I think the data might of gotten deleted too I dont remember

Today is the first time I ever heard of this game and I am an actual fan of Tekken. Haven't had a Nintendo since 3ds.
Just downloaded the game off the free trial! I’m super excited about it. How populated is the game online? Is it easy to find a match?
I wish there would be a new Pokemon fighting game where some Pokemon would speak in their thoughts like in some Pokemon movies like Meowscarada and Cinderace would release in Japan for the Japanese version in September. It will release in North America for the English version in November. And it will also be released in Europe in January for the English version. But maybe in E3, people would probably play this but with their Japanese voices instead if their english voices while it shows english words.
I'd like a follow up to this this. Or a fighting game like dragon ball fighterZ. And a like open 3D run around kinda fighter like jump force or those naruto games or dragon ball xenoverse. But definitely one like dragon ball fighterZ. I'd also love to see a one piece fighting game like that.
The game could become alive again if they put the game on steam, Ps4 , Ps5 , Xbox series X basically just add it to more consoles.
Also if they make their multiplayer system work a little bit better.
Maybe some More Dlc’s and this game would be literally S tier.
I mean because it’s a Nintendo product, it will never be released outside of Nintendo platforms other than arcades in Japan.

@@TheSwitchClicks True but alot of Japanese games have gone over to Console, anime games like: Dragon ball fighterZ, Demon slayer hinokami chronicles and others.
Whish they could take it to another playform.
By multiplier i mean making a better netcode so the multiple is less flawless.
Example: I get input delay alot, even tho i can say for sure my wifi is above average.
While were at it lets put Mario and Zelda on steam, xbox and ps4. Oh and Halo on the switch and ps4 👀👀

As "meh" as this game can be, I have some nostalgia for this game considering how much we've played the demo of this game. Even though it's not originally a Switch game, I consider this game to be one of the "classic" Nintendo Switch games.
@Denzel Amaniampong The problem with this game is that it had a lot going for it, but it felt like it could've gotten a whole lot more support for it.

I liked Tekken as a child, but hasnt played fighting games otherwise. I love pokemon in general, but I dont know if this is worth it to buy. What do you guys think?
Its totally worth a buy IF you have friends you can play with locally. As stated at the end of the review, its a good buy if found at a discount. The online is still quite active and the singleplayer has some good worth. If you enjoyed Tekken and love Pokemon, this is an amazing mesh!
it is worth as long as you have someone to 1v1 to, fun af.
The general summarization that you give to pokken isn't fair, pokkens mechanics are deep but seem to be easy to understand at face value. Personally I think it has more depth than street fighter as an avid fighting game player myself, street fighter wasn't complicated in its base principles and mechanics moreso the mind games and fundamentals. I do advise to go on super combo wiki and try out a few combos or maybe lab some character or move interactions. Pokken is a fast paced. On your feet tekkenlike that's criminally underrated
Also you downplay the net play way too much, it's pretty good since it's peer-to-peer and the pokken discord is well populated. Locals aren't the easiest to do since 2 ppl need separate switches and copies to play
Does it have something like story mode?
Yes, Pokken Tournament has a story mode, but it’s more of a series of battles to teach you about the elements of the gameplay. Think of it as a drawn out tutorial attached to an underdog story. No plot at all really.
I used to play this with my buddies I believe on the wiiiu? I think. Anywho I came here to see if the game would even be playable online after so long 💀😂 it's STILL 60$ In the eShop. Actual insanity 😭
I’d recommend searching for copies of the game locally (Kraigslist or Kijiji).

@@TheSwitchClicks ya. Appreciate it. I def won't be getting it from the eShop at 60$. Nintendo over prices everything on the eShop for sure. And unfortunately places like Walmart and wherever else probably won't have it. Maybe a GameStop. But it'll probably be used and I'm super paranoid about used games 💀
@@TheSwitchClicks bruh. So I went to Walmart to find something totally unrelated. Didn't have it. So I stopped by the game section. And wouldn't ya know. There's one copy of Pokken there 💀 so I was gonna pick it up. But it's 50$ 💀💀💀 rip. Gonna just have to fork out the doe I suppose

The online is still active with wait times being quite low. You can check out the Reddit and Discord Community’s and they are still active too!
