I think in general this is good advice. However I've seen your free games so i already know you can make games. But it is good to get commercial experience, as in try to make money and learn whatever you can from it. Btw i love puzzles games and i'm intrigued by Unread Messages. Do you have an ETA for when the game will be released? Is there much more planned content like a big story, more dynamic puzzle elements, etc.?
Thanks! I'm planning on releasing the game in late June, and the demo will hopefully be out in a few weeks. I have a lot of story content planned and some more complex mechanics to make puzzles more interesting :)
Keep up the progress, I have lots of experience not making my dream game! I heard a funny but pretty accurate saying from someone recently "Just make a game and get it out the door, because odds are it won't do very well, and you can just get it out of the way and the next one will do better" Paraphrasing aside (I forgot the exact words) it's excellent advice. Don't stop moving forward~
I love to play so many different kinds of games and also have so many different ideas for games so I have way too many dream games. So deciding which game to work on is very difficult for me… I also have the problem of either working on a game that’s way too big and complicated and scary to make as a lone noob vs working on a smaller game where I have less passion or confidence it’s even a game worth making. But good for you actually sticking to a game and seeing it through!
I'm not making my dream game either, but I know I'm making something fun that I can enjoy. I think part of the reason I don't make my dream game (aside from not really having a single one) is that it's best left discovered, and I'd know everything about it if I made it myself.

Agreed! Thanks! :)
I'm mostly here to hear you talk about your journey. It's encouraging to see what you're up to because you're real with everyone.
