Hi Eva !! Just dropped by your channel to say HI 👋 !! I trust all is good with you, and hope the new job is working out 🏋️♂️ well 😊👍 . Cheers, Don 🙋♂️
Such a beautiful combo of flowers, insects, and amazing garden produce! Love your slow motion footage of the carpenter bee and how you were able to compare its size to a normal bee. You're a great photographer.
Such a beautiful garden, and what a great harvest of fruits. And your footage of the wildlife, excellent, you could give David Attenborough a run for his money :)
gorgeous garden!! 🍃 it's so cool to see familiar berries and bug friends that we have here in the USA too!! Japanese beetles are some of my favorite buzzing companions in my garden 🌼
Mother nature is certainly busy in your garden, and of course you have a lot of things growing there as well. A nice collection of birds, insects and fruits :) The red currant and meringue cake looked delicious. Escargots for lunch? 🤣 What an amazing looking close up of the bee!! In fact as the video continued I can see that you got several more close up slow motion shots as well, they looked really fantastic!!
Have you ever tried escargots? I haven't been brave enough yet! ;) Thank you, Richard, I'm glad that you like the close-ups and slow motion shots! They are a good way to really show the difference in size between "normal bees" and the giant one! :)
Your garden is amazingly beautiful and even more during this time of the year. I love all the wonderful variety of flowers and to see the insects and butterflies so close. It is the first time I see gooseberries like those 😊👍
Beautiful as always in your garden 🤩 I especially liked the tall sunflower 👍 The big bee was indeed very big, we call the flowers it was on pea flowers, but I don’t know if that’s what they’re called in English 😊
Thank you so much! :) In German it is "Prunkbohne" (the last part of the word, "-bohne" means "bean") and I had to look it up in English, haha! Apparently there are many words for it, one is "runner bean". :)
Totally lovely, Eva. The red currant meringue tart looks great (the rhubarb cake was delicious by the way). I was fascinated by the blue-winged bumblebee.
Hi, Eva !! Thanks for this great ‘Summer Extravaganza “ !! The garden with its named roses, other flowers and berry rich harvest is looking at its best, hope you get a good crop of potatoes. The fruity porridge 🥣 is my breakfast of choice too !! The tart for your coffee break looked good 🍰 ✅. I enjoyed all your great slow-mo shots of the bugs and birds, very good 👍. All in all a splendid episode 😃. Greetings from Scotland, Cheers, Don 👋
Hello Don! Thank you so much for your lovely and long comment! I'm glad that you liked the video. In summer it's obviously always a bit easier to make a nice garden video with all the plants and flowers and animals... :) Hope you are having a great week! :)
@@MissAnglophilia Yes ! At last we are getting a good spell of warm, sunny weather 😎 . We are having some building work done on the house, so a lot of hanging about waiting for things to happen just now 🏡 👷♀️ 👍. All the best 👋
It's berries time!!! 😍 Fresh and ripe berries from your own garden are just simple the best! I also "harvested" a lot of red currants this year and a lot of raspberries. I was also thinking about a cake with meringue like yours. My mother used to make one, just like that. The raspberries I turned into ice cream. Very recommendable! 😁
That is a rather nice garden you have there, Eva. I missed out on sunflowers this year. But on the plus side I have a few hollyhocks ready for next year's flowers. I notice you have honey bees feeding. I haven't seen one on my wildflower meadow yet - but dozens of bumblebees!

@@jjsmallpiece9234 So true, bees are very important. I just leave them alone, they are quite happy with all the flowers, so thank God they aren't interested in stinging me. ;)
Diese wunderbaren Kuchen ... hmmm

Der schöne goldschimmernde Käfer scheint deine Liebe zu den Rosen zu teilen. 💞

A really beautiful garden, simply a place for relaxing!
I would recommend gooseberry pie or crumble with custard
A great idea! Reading about this makes me hungry, haha! Unfortunately I used up all the gooseberries from my garden... I might try to buy some!

Thank you so much, Ian! This bee is amazing, isn't it? It only "moved" to my garden a few weeks ago, I've never seen it before here... :)
The red rose does look a lot like the Ena Harkness variety.

Yes, that might be the case! I got it as a present a few years ago, that's why I don't know more about it...
what a beautiful garden tour in relax time, beautiful friend!

Don;t think we get those Violet carpenter bees in the UK - thankfully, it looks far too big
It's quite big, yes! It recently "moved" into my garden - I've never seen it before anywhere else. Quite fascinating colour I think! :)
@@MissAnglophilia Nice colour, not so sure about animals that want to bite or sting me. Live and let live though, the bees do a vital job.
