TRYING ON HOURGLASS PHANTOM VOLUMIZING GLOSSY BALM & UNLOCKED SATIN CRÈME LIPSTICK

Today I try on 6 of the 12 shades of the Hourglass Volumizing Glossy Balms. Two of the shades, Slip and Mist, are from the original release and the remaining four are newer additions. I absolutely love these glossy balms.
I also try on four of the Unlocked Stain Creme Lipsticks. The shades I have are Alpine, Dahlia, Cypress and Red. This was my first time trying this formula.

I've been interested in these glossy balms since they first came out, however, I'd be ordering online and all of the colors present as neutral or warm toned. I'm very cool toned, so if they had a cool toned pink, mauve or possibly even beige I'd probably get one. But when I looked they just don't seem to have any shades that I like or suit me. (And I'm one of the people that didn't love Pillow Talk, however I did like the liner) For reference, when you swatched the new Pinks from CT, the Red Carpet Pink would be a shade I would go for. (The one with Baby in the name that was your favorite was also one I liked) I also like sheer, bright cool toned pinks. So my every day faves are the Dior Glow balms in Raspberry and Ultra Pink. I'm light skin toned so they still show pretty well and look really nice. And of course I'm in love with the formula!!! 😍 I actually used to wear Nars Anna all the time years back. Such a unique cool toned mauvey pink.
Anyway I hope they come out with some new shades, but the swatching definitely helped, because these DID look different on you than they did on the website. Thanks! 😊

I did a short one on my other channel after my son skated for a year. I’ve contemplated starting a new channel to document my progress. More for me than anything. I feel and broke my wrist last year and have struggled since getting back on the ice. I just can’t get over my fear.

@@shannonlovesmakeup I think I would be afraid if I had a bone break too. Be proud of yourself for trying and learning all of the times you did! That’s a big deal! It’s encouraging to know other mothers in their 40s learning new things and keeping active. I try to do the same.
