Definitely pink pomelo for lighter skin tone

Hi Shannon, thanks for the video. My thought is that these duos are intended to compete with the $42 Patrick Ta duos that came out recently. Although the color stories are quite different and the packaging isn't as fancy, the price point is a lot lower. I can see people thinking "Hmm. Those PT duos are just way too expensive, but what about the PM duos?" I'd say the Petallic Passion duo is the most usable although I definitely see your point about the colors being in a previous PM quint. But for a person who doesn't own that quint, this duo might be a sensible purchase. I've got to say, what's up with the gold and black (!) duo? I don't see that as being very wearable for most people. The Celestial Jade, well, I can see why you like it, but green eye shadow doesn't work well on everyone. It's a matter of taste, of course.

Hey Shannon! I think I’ll wait until PMG has her 30% off sale to grab some the only duo I want is maybe that one with the green, but then again I may be able to find something in my stash. The other two I know I can dupe… You using that black shade with your fingers had me gasping! 🫢

Hi Shannon, thanks for the video! I don't understand why they put the colors Heather and Cerise in this palette. I mean, it's a pink and purple color story, and on my laptop screen, Heather looks orange, and Cerise looks like a burgundy. I guess a burgundy shade could belong here? Again, this could be my laptop screen. Edited to add: or my color vision.

Bio glitter formula is super popular now at least in slavic countries and local cosmetic brands, our make up artist basically use it in every make up as a topper that look awesome in electric light

Thank you for giving your honest opinion. I’m early 50’s, just started wearing makeup last year and taking it one step at a time. I’m now on my eyes so learning how to apply eyeshadow correctly, figuring out what I like, etc. I’ve already bought 2 Patrick Ta’s, 2 Urban Decays and 2 Charlotte Tilbury quads that I’m still scared to put my novice hands on😅. I do have cheaper palettes that I’m practicing with, including 3 from Alter Ego, which I love. I was debating between Natasha Denona’s Glam palette or her I Need A Nude palette for my cool toned palette, since all my other ones are warm. I had decided to definitely get the Glam palette during the Sephora sale. However, after watching your video, I’m also ordering the Daylight palette from Alter Ego because why not😂

How do you think it compares to the ND Xenon palette?

Your hair looks gorgeous here!🤩 Roxa is a no for me. I have the Viseart Cashmerie Charmeuse & Violetta Petit Four - that's enough purple for me. I love the way Viseart does purple: in a more muted, subtle way. I'm more interested in the new Huda icy palette for winter.❄️

I am sad...this is last lage Huda palette ,i always was exaited abought new ,holyday season,lage Hudas palette every year.I have almoust all lage palettes,empowered i dont have,this is too warm and dark for me,i know ,i did 2-3 make up with it and thats all.Ofcourse i ordered this palette,but i kbow half similar shades we all have in ouer collections.❤my english not good,sorry

Very beautiful but I would prefer if instead of a purple shifting shadow she would do an ice blue shifting one because in the Quarts palette I already have all the purple shifts I need.

Huda is so creative . I will miss her larger palettes. She is a good businesswoman and I’m sure she has even better ideas and I wish her all the best. I’m so getting this one !

Hi Shannon, thanks for the video! I love the look you did here. When you swatched the mattes, I thought some of them looked like the mattes in Pretty Grunge. Some of the shimmers looked similar too, to my eye. But since there are 18 shadows in this one, it seems like a better value than PG or some of her others. Re it being her last palette, I'm with you in thinking she means "the last big palette." And I agree she'll probably go to releasing only smaller palettes, probably the 5 pan ones. I think we're seeing the last of the trend to lots of big palettes being released - that's the real meaning of "eye shadow is dead." It's not, I just think that people are going to use fewer colors and not do so many fancy looks with lots of shades. The inflation we've experienced means we all need to look at our budgets and cut back on expenditures. That is, unless you're really wealthy!

I have 3 large 18 pan pallets from Huda already (Quarts, Naughty and Grunge). Her formula is so good that I am finding myself tempted again.

Hi Shannon, thanks for the video. So, you can get a 5 pan palette from Pat McGrath for $38, but Patrick Ta is charging $42 (!) for a duo? Interesting. And Patrick Ta is getting a lot of pushback on social media for the pricing.

Just discovered your channel and enjoyed comparing what I got to what you did 😊 Somehow my I didn’t recall much of selection 3 so I went to see what my order had been and I got ILIA liquid eye tint, which wasn’t on your options. I wonder if yearly selections changed for me since I am not an annual member. I’m off to make decisions on my winter box now.

I bought this palette from ULTA last night. They had a $10 off $50 purchase coupon which could be used on Prestige items, plus I used $6 of "points". So, with tax, I paid about $42. I went and picked it up today. I, too, have been waiting YEARS for NARS to finally come out with a face palette that would work with my fair skin (and not make me look like a clown). I was excited to see the highlighter and the pink blush shade because they are very similar to shades that I had in an old Duality palette (one side was blush, the other highlighter in mine, but I know there were different options) I've looked online and people that are selling unused ones of the same shades Duality palette I had wanted crazy prices. So, to see this AND have other blush shades I can use as well, I was all in! I was hoping the brown shade would not lean so red. I wanted to use it more as a contour than a bronzer, but I definitely will end up using all shades as eyeshadows, which is an added bonus as well. I can never seem to pull the trigger on a NARS eyeshadow palette, now I don't have to. ❤
