Amazing they had 14 years before voters got tired of their nonsense.
Labour will achieve it in 14 days.
@@johnf3885 Keep crying little man.
Brexshit.
@@johnf3885 Come on Rishi, it's over buddy you lost fair and square.
The Tories were lucky that they had such a weak opposition. Until Starmer changed Labour for the better.
I loved the quote from James Buckland about the Tories' future. "They'll be like three bald men fighting over a comb". Love it.
Quote of the election!
@@clairduffy60 it's an old ,old saying though.
Imagine being so awful at your job that in order to steal your position your main rival just has to keep their mouth shut and stand idly back while watching you dig your own grave.
Then afterwards try and maintain some self repect by saying things like 'Well, they didn't get that position on merit, it's simply that I'm an incompetent criminal and morally bankrupt.' 🤷♂
Absolutely no point saying sorry that the conservatives didn’t listen now. Sheer arrogance shown all through the 14 years. Entitled or what.
Charles Walker's attitude is why I didn't vote conservative this time, they need to accept the didn't deliver
Tory tears in the comments are priceless 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Agreed and I m a conservative.
Cameron, Johnson and Truss. Those 3 have bought a country to its knees.
And now Sunak is gone. Coward.

Sunak and May did not bring this economic cataclysm on us. The others, yes.
Worst government of my lifetime.
Just wait.
@@Withnail1969 Wait for what lol it's impossible to be worse than Tories. They destroyed Britain.
😂😂😂 you must be either very young, or very forgetful. Last time labour was in power Tony Blair took us into an illegal war which destabilised the middle east, leading to the mass immigration we are seeing today. Gordon brown sold our gold reserves when the price was low, and raided billions from people's pensions, he ruined my dad's retirement, the Tories are bad, but labour are far worse. Starmer, Rayner, and lammy are running our country mate. It's going to be a disaster.@@subroy7123
@@subroy7123 We'll see.
@@Withnail1969a braised turnip could do a better job of running the country than the corrupt Tory government. The shady think tanks in Turton Street “donate” 500 times more to the Tories than any other party.
It's not about the numbers Mr. Hague; it won't be a viable opposition because absolutely no one in the country gives the slightest toss about what the Tories think or say about anything anymore.
They'll be back. It's just a cycle of nothing getting better and replacing one party with another.
@@Withnail1969 im not convinced especially if they move to the right with suella or badenok
@@vincentvangogh8092 True, Braverman in my opinion is completely unelectable, if they elect her as leader then Starmer will easily win a second term.
The wealthy care. These are the people who manipulated the common conservative's culture war concerns to vote for Brexit. The wealthy are relentless, pitiless, and unscrupulous. The wealthy of Britain will always be looking for a way to get themselves more tax breaks, more favorable regulation of their investments, and so on. They are looking for a rebranding of the Tories right now so that they can get back to turning the UK into a developing country in five years.
@@Webstral Brexit is an irrelevance. Exports to the EU recently hit a new record.
God Andrew Neil loves the "depth of a village pond" line. He's like a stuck record.
The Tories deserved even fewer seats.
Thank god the Tories are out, they have been the worst government for the last 14 years well done Labour 😊
Labour did absolutely nothing. You can thank the Tories for the win.

My joy is unrelenting.
thank god Mogg has gone
An Insufferable prat.
I never thought I eould thank Fartgarbage for ANYTHING? but he’s helped Labour defeat the tories!
"Fartgarbage " ...how pathetically childish
That’s the name on his birth certificate! I assume you’re one of his racust supporters?
Disastrous start for Starmer - unemployment has risen by 250 this morning.
Don't worry Starmer has promised the British people the world better jobs housing health education and all in 1 year 😂😂😂😂😂

There's now't stranger than folk.
Allowing children to drown in the Channel didn't help the Tories.
Tim Mongomeries tears are delicious
Charles Walker describing all the party issues, then STILL going on to say that he thinks the polls are UNDER representing the Tory result?? They still feel absolutely entitled to your vote, no matter how poorly they perform. Get them all out.
A lot of the Labour vote went to the Lib Dems in the South East and South West I told pollsters I was Labour but had to vote Lib Dem if I wanted to unseat the Tory
And why is the UK is so much trouble, Tim. It's instructive how the client media, including this lot, are already trying to undermine this great Labour win.
It isn't a great Labour win. Less votes than Corbyn. It's a total Tory collapse.
Rishi won't care he signed loads of offshore oil deals a few months back, mission accomplished.
One of the ironies here is that this result owes much to Brexit. Imagine UK still in EU. How many rightwing/extreme rightwing UK MEPs would have been elected by the British public? Such an outcome would not have triggered a ‘legislative’ election as it did in France. Possibly, keeping everything else the same (eg. previous post-2016 General Elections), the Tories would still be in power.
Bad form of Andrew Neil not to be wearing the same suit & tie as his portrait over his shoulder
It's all a game for these people. Mogg, Hunt, Sunak....
I doubt starmer would make the mistake of the Tories especially party gate
it must be nice being so naive
@@Tokinjesterbut there you are. Not just naive but trolling too.
The tories didn’t make mistakes. They were DELIBERATELY corrupt, incompetent, idle, self-serving, unpatriotic, and disinterested in governing the country. Starmer’s Labour are none of these. Their difficulties are the appalling state the tories have left the UK in, but also the right wing press who are already sharpening their knives, as are the nay sayers and the curmudgeons who would rather drag down the party that is our best chance of rehabilitating ourselves again.
Sunak gave the Country a time to reflect, renew, and re-invent itself. Creative destruction. Something us Yanks might need to learn come November.
You lot are about to become a Right wing dictatorship, Trump will rule
And the tin hat is doris still in the tory hearts they rolled out the mass murderer in a desperate attempt to hold on
The collapse has begun
Tory Party collapsed years ago
And long may it continue.
wow Cruella finally remembered to thank the voters
Sunak was a decent Chancellor. I am thrilled that the Tories are out, but he paid the price for Johnson and Truss.
He shorted the £ on 2008, he and his chums made millions by betting against the country.
@@Lynnefromlyn Ahhh. And there is something fishy about his wife's company investing 1.5bill in BP just when BP has been given a contract to drill for natural gas 36km off the shore of Gaza. Makes you wonder about conflicts of interest. Maybe I should save my sympathy...
@@Anna-tj7mp Sunak signed off on several, very juicy contracts for his father-in-law’s business. To the tune of several millions. Of OUR money.
Hague isn't being balanced, calm and graceful in defeat. He just doesn't see much difference between Labour and Tory. And he's right
The hard Tory Brexit has still got a lot of pain to give over the next couple of years, and as long as the Labour government pins that pain firmly on the Tory government they will remain hated as a party.
Moggy went lol
1:05 they didn't even get 131 seats - the final Tory tally was only 121 seats. Labour and Lib Dem exceeded the exit poll results and Tory and Reform underperformed.
Good sentiments and analysis from William Haig
Tactical voting to get the Tories out occurred so analysts won’t get much from analysing party support counts. You can’t compare the vote % as voters may have voted for which candidate could get past the post before the Tories. So if you support Labor but you know they won’t win with your vote you vote for the candidate who can beat the Tory to get them out. The public who parliamentarians are meant to work for worked out how to play the first past to post system which had favoured the Tories previously. Tactical voting ensures the public gets the result they want despite a rigged first past the post system.

They got kicked out because they cried wolf. They said they would do a,b c,d,e,f,g.....x, y and z...and delivered 0

The Tories needs a break. They have to come to grips with realty and the consequences of brexit.
The British electorate voted for Brexit don't blame the government if you don't know who the electorate are its the people 😂😂😂😂
As you can see, Brexiteers never come to terms with the consequences of brexit

I will miss the Tories in particular Pretty , Sunak and Boris to Theresa
It will be interesting to see who gets more MSM coverage, Reform (4) or Lib Dems (71).
Liberal reform no power 4 seats and the main stream media don't like reform 😂

Tories have acted like a second class socialist party the last 5 years, actions speak louder that narrative and history
We've had increased taxes, increased inflation, it's just been never ending, now we have a Labour gov it seems they're actually halting the spend and nonsense which is unheard of! But the freeze in the tax thresholds is going to really hurt low earners for the next 5 years, hope they know what they've voted for
Absolutely right. The Tories are a Blairite party with a blue tie. It's incredible people haven't seen this. They ve carried out a Labour agenda on steroids. Why Labour supporters aren't worshipping Rishi is beyond me. Must be the tie. They just don't feel happy unless it's red.
Tory’s got owned 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They didn't get owned. They owned themselves.

Where is the 'centre ground' pf politics now. It is forever shifting, the electorate is volatile, so are ideas of centre left and right.
Starmer will try to shift the centre towards the 'lleft', Farage will claim it is where he and Reform are.
