Branches Get Their Glow Up - Woodturning

Welcome to today's woodturning project! I haven't done a lamp in a long time, so i decided to make one. I used some branches and resin to turn a sphere. For the base i used a simple piece of maple. I finished the project with high gloss spray.

Ok, I officially hate you! I have been watching your videos non-stop for 2 days as I recover from a flu - so inspiring. I am about to purchase a lathe and wonder if you would share the specs on yours. I am considering the Rikon 14 by 20 , 70-1420 vsr. I am not asking for a tool review but rather would this machine be able to do what you are creating? Thank you in advance for any advice and thank you so much for posting your work!

rubbing alcohol 70% in a spray bottle will loosen the grip of hot glue.

Auch wenn ich die Lampe ok finde .... Ich bin Holzdrechsler und kein Kunststoffdrechsler. Deshalb verwende ich kein Epoxidharz. Das jeweilige Holzstueck definiert meinen Gestaltungsrahmen.
