I cannot thank you guys enough for over 800,000 total video views and 1,000 subscribers. This video is dedicated to you guys, without your support, I wouldn't be uploading videos!
For this "mega" video, I take you, the viewer, to the quaint town of Carmel-by-the-Sea in Northern California and the adjacent city of Monterey, CA for 5 days. This week-long event is called "Carmel Car Week," "Monterey Auto Week," and "Concours Week" among other names. It is a gathering of the nicest, most exclusive, most expensive cars in the world and the week is capped off by the world famous Concours D'elegance, which is an enormous car show on the fairway of the 18th hole at the Lodge at Pebble Beach. It features the most prestigious cars, from Ferrari 250 GTOs (there were 22 there, out of 36 ever made) to restored Bugattis, to modern cars.
The first clips in the video are from the beautiful drive up to Monterey from Los Angeles via Highway 1 (PCH).

What didn't you film in this video...Great job, dude. That Zagato is awesome, the Alfa sounds incredible. How often will you see that many Bugatti's together? A matte brown SV? The Aston Martin One-77....I'm speechless..
I noticed you don't have any shots of an SSC Ultimate Aero. Did you see one there? Of course a real treat would have been the SSC Tuatara, but I can't imagine one of those would have been there.

As you can see in the vid, Wednesday is when it really starts heating up. The best days to go, obviously, would be the weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are days that you will NOT want to miss ;)

It's a good question. All California registered cars are required to have front license plates, but many, many owners choose to neglect that law and frequently get pulled over.

I'm in high school, so I guess this is my job as of right now! My goal is to become an investment banker/hedge fund manager so that I can afford these awesome cars. Plus, it's a lot of fun to work with money! :)

Quail Lodge on Friday around 11AM-4PM is NUTS. 4PM is when all the cars inside the show depart, if you want to see them moving. Other than that, the Carmel Equestrian Center is where all the cars unload (really cool and you can see some amazing cars) when they're transported, and all the nice hotels (the Lodge, Spanish, Hilton Monterey, Hyatt, etc.) are great as well and you'll have guaranteed success there.

Guess what? Nice cars aren't meant for picking up girls. These are for the real enthusiasts like me and many others who value the finer things in life, not just driving down to your local bar or strip club in a $2M Bugatti Veyron trying to pick up girls. These machines are examples of the pinnacle of humans and engineering... Don't judge so quickly.

Well, what if your childhood dream car let's say was a Ferrari F40. You managed to make far more than enough money to afford one, but you're 6' 3". You're not gonna pass it up, therefore you might make some "adjustments" so you can fit in one, if that makes sense.
Investment banking, hedge fund managing, stock market, etc. Then there are people who worked at companies like Microsoft, Logitech, Oracle, etc. And also people who simply started their own company and it took off. Hope that helps :)
I wouldn't trade living here for pretty much anything... If you ever have the opportunity to move out here, seize it while you can! Don't believe everything the media says about us Californians either, not everyone here is a hippie :P
No problem, word on the street is that a white McLaren F1 gets in today so if you're there now keep your eyes peeled! :)
Also there's a Ferrari FF from the Cayman Islands running around too :P

I saw the Tuatara but stupidly didn't record any video since it was just a "concept" at the time... There was also an Ultimate Aero up there, but he was too hard to find during the week! :P
@orangegold1 Well, (99% of) the owners in this video have good taste, therefore not spoiling their cars with wheels like Asantis. They don't quite work with supercars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis...

I mean that most Bimmers (M3s, M5s, M6s) are usually far too dull and boring to film and simply take up memory card space. But yes, there are some exceptions :)
You didn't film the Hyundai next to the LFA D: That was the coolest of them all!
I'm only in high school but to be honest just work your ass off and good things will come... Also think outside the box and take a different approach to problems!
That awkward moment when you try to brag on the internet about your dad having an LFA but get shutdown when I tell you that Lexus actually owns it...
Hahaha, that's still pretty sweet! I respect them and their performance is incredible, but as a photographer, they're far too common where I live to film!
@IXIGaryIXI Hahaha, kinda... I'm a fan of wheels like Asantis and Forgiatos on big American cars, but they don't work at all on nice European autos!
I listen to nearly every type of genre of music, and I felt that an acoustic version of the Skrillex some sounded appropriate for this video...
I think it's more for a race car style as some race cars have the bubble, but then again it was a big dude who was driving it... :P

Turbohead, in the states cars are only required to have rear license plates except in a few states. It's a state law, not Federal.

No prizes for guessing. But I`d say it`s to make room for his head so he doesn`t have to slouch in the seat. You`ll notice that the engine is mid mounted directly behind him. So that means the seat will only recline so far. The dome was possibly added at the factory when they fitted the owner to his new car.
(0:47) The red/white Ferrari 599 GTO is by far the 2nd most beautiful car I have ever seen. Red/white is such an amazing combination on this machine.

You do realize that girls really don't care about how nice the car you drive is...? Sure your car says something about your personality, but girls actually prefer regular cars to supercars. Supercars are obsessed over more so by guys because they are engineering miracles.
Soldiermajor, I have military background and an MBA and I will still never be able to afford ANY of these cars! :( That Veyron Super Sport, Orange GT, Aventator, and One 77 are the cream of the crop but I would love to own any of these amazing super cars... Great video man...

i went to concours on the avenue today. after i looked at the classics, i began to see supercars. slr mclaren, ferrari 458s, and a lamborghini diablo. i might go on saturday, thanks for the advice
Every time you see a Bugatti count "1 million", and every time you see a Bugatti SS count "2 million". And at the end of the video see how much money worth of bugatti's are there :)
