This year we never actually made it down as far as Eagle Falls, and we never fished that narrow section of Moar leading to Eagle Falls. All of our pike spots on Moar this year were within about 5 miles of both the North and South rapids into Moar, but we fished a lot of different spots this year. Like I said in the video, there are a lot of spots that looked textbook but yielded very few or very small pike, so it was important for us to have over a dozen spots to run and gun between. We would sometimes come back to the same spot after a few hours and fish it again and someone would get a big pike, but usually you'll know pretty quickly if there are bigger pike in the area - we rarely fished any one spot for more than about 30 minutes if we weren't catching or raising bigger fish. We would also bounce between fishing pike and walleyes if the pike bite seemed slow or off, and let our spots reset. Most spots we could get pike up to 32" but the bigger ones we definitely had to work for - we fished at least 12 hours every day! The weather for your week looks really nice as of right now, I think the pike were a little finicky when we first got there and the cold front began to set in, but with more stable weather when you arrive hopefully the bite will be great!

That's too bad you had to cancel! We basically had the same experience where Moar was really good but Sharpstone was slow. We were having plenty of big pike follow us on Sharpstone but they would turn away at the boat every time and never actually bite. Thanks for the update!
