Overdosing on nostalgia even though I was born in 1975, my heart melts with his voice, and instrumentals🥰 I played 70s music when my children were in the womb and now in the late teen adult years they love the music and have a great appreciation of that era.

In the 90's I was early thirties and those tunes, pretty iconic. We were the luckiest generation. When my twenty years old son asks me how I know the words to the latest re-mix he's playing, I simply say, listen to the original x

This glorious melody was flowing out of my transit van's speakers as my wife and I drove in the glorious summer of 1976 out of Cambridge England onto London as a newly wed 24 year old on a working holiday in Europe. What magnificent memories this song evokes. Wind in our hair, young and free and in love.

I've been on a nostalgic journey for the last several months, mostly missing what I grew up seeing and feeling and wishing I could get it back. As a kid growing up in the Chicago suburbs, music was a huge part of my life. Listening to WLS radio on a small AM transistor radio and a little ear plug, hearing songs like this from Chicago, I guess I sort of thought it would all never end. Hear I am now, 50 something years old, I would give anything to have all that back. The music, the simplicity of life, just that sort of "feeling" that is so hard to explain. Most of the places I grew up are gone now, the neighborhoods consumed by time, the people I once knew all gone their separate ways. I miss it.

I was 17 and joining the Marines in 76. I have had the same effect roll over me countless times. Now I am sharing all of these things with my 8 year old Grandson I guess in attempt to bring it all back. At least he knows good music and loves it!
I'm with you as to the "feeling" even though I grew up in a small one stop light town in SW Kansas
