Now Tim can finish the album along with Chuck in heaven! RIP to both of them 😢
They will be joined by Scott Clendenin and Sean Reinert to produce the ULTIMATE album!

Tim Aymar died!? Man that blows. What a singer.
I didn't know this existed, I'm freaking out this is so unbelievably good, it's like discovering Chuck's music for the first time; i'm almost crying
Bruh
The album we will never get a chance to hear =\ sad
And Steve or Shannon or Eric, I don't remember which one said this would never be made public bcuz it was chucks wishes to be completed well or not at all. It's fucking magical.
I apologize for misinformation I was on the loop for a while and I found out that someone close to the group got a copy
same here bro
This Demo album Is a masterpiece, the completed album could be one of the best album ever written in the story of Death career, It Is a mix of Human and The Sound Of Perseverance.
R.I.P CHUCK AND TIM🤟👏
BASED AND BEAUTIFUL
I think Steve di may have cassette riff tapes as well for this, heard interview about that. Of course the death Deluxe relapse.CDs had a wealth of bonus material
Timmy wanted that second record to get finished so badly. And there were real tracks recorded for the second record. It could have been finished but like some plot twist from a movie, the hard drive those tracks were on became corrupted and even after sending it to some lab that specialized in extracting information on corrupted drives, it was impossible. It was lost .
Damn digital recording. If it was 2 inch tape it would all probably still exist.
RIP Timbo. Love ya.
When man and machine divide...
I will just pretend as this comment doesn't exist. I must keep my mental health in a good conditition. I'm sorry.
I wish this could have been completed
So these tracks were "saved" , when released on that "chuck" compilation CD . They're was much more? And it all was corrupted 😢😢. Prolly sitting on a damned micro soft 386. At least these tracks are saved. I like listening to these when I am painting. Hahah
@@jamie.777i think Steve digorgio said he has all the demos like this to hand one time but like the individual multitracks are lost I believe
legendary Chuck ... he loved metal as a whole. Unfortunately his absence is not replaced by anything ... those of us over 40 who grew up with him we will continue the Perennial Quest

Where did you find the name of the tracks?
@@RedShogun13 the death facebook group posted a picture of it when they were on display during the brass mug tribute show. Hard to make out but its what we got
@@bobschmidt6565 So we have any indication of what track names go to which track from these 4 tracks in the video?
@@RedShogun13 sadly the only clue we got is track 3 either being blackest of hearts or the number speaks because it's mentioned in the Death by Metal documentary credits
Track number 2 has to be one of the catchiest riffs ever written
yeah
Yes
Bro... I'm 32.. when I had a MySpace when I was about 16, I had this Death fan page I followed that had these tracks on it. It was called "Zero Tolerance 2" bro I have been looking for these effing songs for years thank you so much. These tracks influenced me so much in my 20s being such a fan of Shuldiner. Thank you friend
No problem
Holy mother of yeshua. I am 31 now. Had a myspace too and followed that same Death fan page you mentioned.
I love that this album was shaping up to be heavier than the first. Hell, heavier than Sound of Perseverance. I wonder what it would have sounded like vocally since some parts are a tad less melodic and more out there.
This could have been his best work... RIP
RIP Chuck
This honestly sounds like some of Chuck's best and most intricate music! It's clear how inspired he was after moving fully on from Death and creating the music he was passionate about at the time. the number 2 track especially, is a god damn masterpiece!!!
Certainly
I love the drum beat on the second riff of the track 2. And the riffs are beautiful, expecially the third riff of track 2
Can you imagine Ron jarzombek from blotted science and chuck colliding just to see those two play together.. the ultimate collab..
that would be something
That second track blew me away.
R. I. P
Your deeply missed Mr. Schuldiner
RIP Chuck
It's pretty raw recorded (is a demo tape) , but even that sounds better than a lot of modern metal bands
Tell me about it lol
Good metal is supposed to sound raw imo, simple production wise anyways. People used to get their tone and riffs locked in before they recorded, whereas I think a lot of bands do way too much post processing these days
@@calebbean1384 I agree so much and thats why scream bloody gore is one of my fav albums or the Mantas stuff!
I just discovered this and have been listening to Death/CD for about 12-13 years now. Good lord, this confirms what I was thinking all along with TSOP and TFAOE---I think Control Denied would've gone full-on Progressive Metal (at least in the short-term) had Chuck lived. The second and third tracks in particular have some of Chuck's most 'proggy' and off-kilter arrangements ever---and who knows how far he could've taken it had he lasted long enough for say, a 3rd or 4th or 5th Control Denied album?
All I can say is that hopefully SOMETHING comes of this one day. Even if were just cleaning up the demos to make them professional-sounding (and giving official-ish lyric sheets that have been floating around in liner notes), it'd still be cool to see. I'm imagining something like if the pieces exist (the instrumentals and lyrics), someone making a pretty faithful cover of some of these songs. Probably would be dicey legally, but that way the songs would exist in some completed form---and even the 'covers' wouldn't be possible had it not been for Chuck writing the songs in the first place. And in a roundabout way, that WOULD keep Chuck's music alive.
If not, it looks like we'll have this video. Pardon me just spitballing ideas into the wind.
You Cool Man.
Musically, this absolutely could have been the album between Spiritual and Human.
This first track man, such an gorgeous album opening
Yep
The first track, is like a 'best of mid-career Death'! Amazing.
Yep
Been infatuated with Death for 8 years but only last month got into Control Denied (another masterpiece, who could of guessed?) so now I've been listening to these just to squeeze the last of Chuck's greatness into my ears and heart. Considering the controversial nature of the demos' release I would've thought them much rougher/crappier but these are practically complete songs, love it.
Special shoutout to that riff at 3:28, of course Chuck didn't sing in Control Denied but you can just feel that classic Death vibe of Chuck playing insanely heavy shit and gnashing his teeth upon the bones of society. Wonder what he would've lyrically eviscerated there. Lots of things to wonder.....RIP Chuck. Thank you for all the great music.
It's called "death" metal for a reason 🤘🏻
Control Denied isn't death metal
@@panda2090 I'm not saying they are, I'm just referencing Death's general influence and legacy as to why death metal is called death metal
@@VagueLuminary whatever it is i love it all
I keep imagining what sort of slick basslines Di Giorgio would concoct on top of these tasteful drum licks and orchestra of stringy notes. such masterpiece, only sheer 4 tracks alone and it has me hooked forever
I already had the files but coming across this once again reinforced the idea in me to rerecord this. I have pretty much the exact studio setup chuck used and think i can do it. Just to not have this forgotten. I have the tabs for 2 of these songs already and am working on the other 2.
RIP CHUCK SCHULDINER!!!

I meet Richard Christy here in Springfield Missouri a while back and he signed my chuck schuldiner zero tolerance both CDs and it has this on it but he say I don't have this but he never give me the name of those songs
Damn. I came across this at work and almost shed a few tears @11:59 - @13:14 😔 It hit me that the man who came up with these songs is gone forever. We will never be able to hear the full potential of these tracks. These are some of the most interesting riffs I've heard Chuck come up with. I'm so glad we have these recordings! Thank you for posting. "Death" is real.. it comes for us all. Let's rock out in the meantime while we still can!!

This actually feels so weird, both reading your comment and listening to these tracks. I feel sad, ecstatic, melancholic, mortal and invincible at the same time listening to these tracks. What a great loss for the entirety of our universe.
Thanks for reading and I’m glad it resonates with you 🤘🏼 🎶
Oh my god!!! This whole work is sooo insanely good. @ 23:30 The intro reminds me of Sector 4 from Metroid Fusion.

Wow, just hearing this now. So good! RIP Chuck
19:23 Such a cool and soulful tapping ! Not tough to play but Chuck's harmonies always made the difference !

this is really awesome when i listen to this i always try to imagine how he would sing
He (assuming you're talking about Tim Aymar) would sing it with soul
@@panda2090 there is a few demos on the 1st album with chuck on vocals, same on tsop but with clean vocals
The quite ffukked up thing is that Eric Greif once said that ist was imposible to release the 2nd album of Control Denied, because there weren't actually any songs written - and obviously he was lying.... I was always sure there's smth wrong with that guy. BTW... HO-LY-SHIT. Now I am listening to the demos and I am mindblowed. It's just beautiful. True genius... Chuck Schuldiner.
It's kind of an unfair judgement to label Greif as a liar as he could've meant "written" as "fully completed"
@@panda2090 You're right. It's unfair, but it was still possible at least to announce that there's a demo we can listen to. Of course, it's not what Chuck would have liked to release, but, I mean, we are the fans of Chuck - we keep him alive. It our responsibility to listen to his music and to remember him. The demo should have reached the scene as the last words of Chuck on the metal scene. IN MY OPINION.
This is more a riff collection than a completed album with arrangements and everything written out
the solo of track 2 is very interesting
yeah
Damn this album would be sick
Simply, BRUTAL!

I wonder in which direction Chuck's music would have developed over time if he hadn't died. What kind of music would he be doing today?
Would he have followed the trends in metal in the 2000s?
One possibility is that he would have gone into a more straightforward and even accessible direction.
Or then stayed in the proggressive power metal style.
Or maybe gone into more and more proggy and jazzy stuff.
Or some folky spiritual stuff?
Maybe at some point returned to reform Death?
I think that he could have continued with death metal and experimental progressive stuff
this sounds so fucking good like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

Soo that’s where that riff comes from that always gets stuck in my head but couldn’t remember where I heard it from, it starts at 7:07 Chuck could always come up with those cool unique but catchy riffs!

(23:30) "that" best song (clean intro - atmospheric middle section)
26:59 - 28:39 this section is really good
If it hasn't been removed by UA-cam already, it's probably here to stay
@@panda2090 I had timestamped the structure of all 4 songs earlier this year, but then they got taken down some time later.
Hope they'll stay. Death/Control Denied/Chuck has been my favourite band of all time for almost 11 years, so I love listening to the "latest" release that could have been.
Even with low production value and no vocals, I still genuinely enjoy listening to it :D
even as rough as these are you can get a sense that if they had a little more time these would be classics
No Death,no CD. Simply Chuck
what new control denied!!! Huge Deal
These demos were leaked in 2004 sadly. There was and still is a huge debate about this. I mean it definitely isn't Chuck's final vision and that most likely is the reason we will never ever see this album materialize over more than this demos. However the riffs here and his general songwriting are absolutely his peak. This shouldn't be forgotten!
This is nothing new
@@dervpool As far as I can remember, they have the tracks ready in their finished form. Only the vocals are missing. Chuck told Jim Morris to finish the album (provided he wouldn't fuck it up and it would be the way Chuck wanted it to be). After that, there were long disputes over copyright. Eric Greif wanted to release it, but he didn't have the rights and he didn't get them. I think it was something like that about the album.
@@nikolaynikolov9836 yeah that is in fact correct. I think DiGorgios bass lines were also still missing. There was some talk about in in the "death by metal" documentary.
And there is another demo playing behind Shannon's and Chuck's sister commentary.
I learned the second song by ear quite a few years ago (over 8). It's a fun song to play. I can't cover the solo however.
How'd you get a hold of this ?
Somebody else uploaded the tracks to UA-cam, I downloaded them, and compiled them into 1 video
Arent these the 4 demo tracks Hammerheart put out back then to conpansate for the loss of invested money? I have the original release.
There is/was a lot more recorded demo material. Steve diGiorgio has stuff vaulted. And Richard Christy has the schematics for the compositions vaulted.
Unfortunately, there have been problems with an essential harddrive containing Chuck recordings with Richard, with detimed tracks that only partially got fixed.
Only 2 songs survived, and Chucks wish was to do everything right or not at all so it got cancelled.
Yeah, these are the recordings from the CD that wasn't approved by Chuck's family
ohhh surprising, I hope yt doesn't delete it again like the previous one :(
Yeah I hope so too
Is there any way we could listen to Zero Tolerance II?
Yes there is, and it's called Buying the CD www.discogs.com/Chuck-Schuldiner-Zero-Tolerance-II/release/3856131
Or if you don't want to buy the CD (which I really wouldn't recommend in the first place since it was published without the full consent of Chuck's family), you can just listen to the stuff that's on the CD here on UA-cam ua-cam.com/video/F5eL4Lfdd2w/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/gsQfaX9xhQU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/ZIEff8PMd2g/v-deo.html
I wish I could read the lyrics Chuck never got to write.
We all do
he did write lyrics for this album. check out the death official facebook page and you'll see that the lyrics for When Man and Machine Collide (along with the song names) were on display in the Brass Mug tribute show. Fuck if I know why they haven't shared them yet but hey at least they exist.

@@FullMetalAdam333 Most of the writing is done here man not much left todo, and the rhythm guitar tracks were nearly completed at least(for the full al bum)!
do u have the name of the tracks? thx for uploading
As far as I know, they're untitled
third one is called Blackest of Hearts or The Number That Speaks not sure
In the Death by Metal documentary these song names have been mentioned in the credits:
Blackest of Hearts
The Number Speaks
On the Death (Official) Facebook page there has been a photo uploaded containing some of Chuck's ideas for "Future Titles":
Auxiliary Defiance ( or "deFiance" like it was written on paper, maybe some word play involved here)
Procreate Fiction
Appeal the Invasion
Disenthrall
Transitory Soul
There has been no talk about where any of these belong, whether these names are a part of the four Control Denied demos or something else.
I would say Blackest of Hearts and The Number Speaks are probably a part of the Control Denied demos.
If I remember correctly one of the four demos has been played in the documentary + a completely new demo has been played that does not belong to the four demos, but stylistically sounded like Control Denied.
Then those two song names came up in the credits, so they have to belong to the demo material played in the documentary.
Like @@jordantasevski2993 said, since the third demo was played in the documentary, it is either entitled Blackest of Hearts or The Number Speaks.
