Yes I'm 60 I went to holy family my dad started at monk school!!! I was raised at 49 parkhill Ave this school was everything!!! How about the pantomime we would put on the drama club met at this school with fr. CAVANAHA I have such memories that was my classroom oh my I'm crying g!!! Great video ahh the great gym many a pantomime we did I was always in the chorus we dud Cinderella etc!!!! Wonder if u remember thst!!! Oh we used to go to Saturday cartoons at the holy family school too!! Omg parkhill there is my home as a child!!! I'm crying great video!!! Thank you so much!!!! I was a prefect on those front stairs, playing marbels just great school!!!!
Yeah so many great memories by so many. This is why my mam wanted to record these vids. I hope it put a wee smile on yer face.( even if it was a sad smile )Im a bit younger than you but also have years and years of similar memories. We lived in woodhall my whole life. My mams wee pal nelly and wully shaw lived at no 1 parkhill untill they passed... im sure you woulda known them :) beautiful memories :)
Awwww how emotional seeing this! Im 32 and attended holy family ❤ such fond memories, was raised in 2 sunnyside before moving to and spending rest of my childhood at 41 parkhill and my gramda at 19 parkhill x
My grandmother lived on Parkhill Avenue. In the 1960's kids from the school took th mickey out pf my English accent till my older cousins "intervened". Bittersweet to see it go. Bill
