Amaizing!!! Special voice . Love it . Not fan but they are best. Looks they didnt have good produsser. like Beatles Rolling Stones etc. Ellas! I was suppresed when I found them on shelf
I love Slade! They were the quintessential rock band. Even as they re-invented themselves for the times, they were still awesome! I could watch them over and over again! The way they looked, their style, their facial expressions, they way they moved, their costumes, their lyrics, their music, their charisma, their personality (I could go on and on!) ... I am both fascinated and mesmerized. One of the best bands, EVER! Thanks for posting!
I agree ! I feel the same ! I am born in 1956 and discovered slade in 1974! It is hard to reach noddy on facebook so we cant know how he is feeling but he wont sing anymore! Lars johansson sweden , have a good time neighbor!
One of my favourite Rock-Bands when l was a young man. Slade fan since Get down, get with it....and their great come back early 80th. I miss Noddy's voice very much, but I'll never forget the amazing and crazy years l had that time with the incredible sound of SLADE. Thanks for all, love you 👍 It's your "Wall of Sound" let me staying tuned when ever l like to listen all your fantastic songs. Hey, "Mama, weer (still) all crazee now", and "Everyday" , before "My friend Stan" "Takes me back 'ome" l say "Gudbuy t'Jane" because she knows how to "Skweeze me and pleeze me" until l "Get down and get with it". And if Jane tells me "Look what you dun" l will tell her l am "The Bangin'n man" so, "How does it feel?" then she said "My oh my" it wasn't "Still the same" l felt like l'm in "Universe". Yeah baby, "Cum on feel the noize" "We'll bring the house down" But now l "Run runaway", so l want tell you "Thanks for the memory" and "Merry Xmas everybody". I already was very "Far away" l know "Wheels ain't comming down" and l feel l was "Born to be wild" so l shout out loud, watch out and "Lock up your daughters" Later l saw "Ruby Red" she was a "Gibsy Roadhog" and a "7year bitch" and l was "In for a penny" After 9 month she got a baby and l said, "Let's call it Quits". Ok, "l'm a rocker" but l called the "Rock'n'Roll Preacher". He told me "Don't waste your time" my son, because it's a "Sign of the times". THE END 🤪

What a fantastic tune from an incredibly fun band! As an American, I first became aware of Slade when "Run, Run Away" came out: I LOVED it, but never followed up, due to the scum who run MTV & American radio. You Tube has gotten me into them VERY heavily, however - better late than never, eh?!
Noddy " The Grandmaster " I call him -- his hair style & beard looks fairly the same, as those historic times, of the knights of St John, we had here in our country ( Malta ), and i admire so much !🙂

What a great band they were. Saw them 6 times live & they were fantastic every time. It's their lesser known singles that are some of the best like this one, In for A Penny, Nobody's Fools, Let's Call it Quits.
I've loved every kinda music, from glen Miller to elvis to the who to Motörhead to Bob Marley to 90s house and some rap! But slade to me are the best band I ever Sen at Newcastle Mayfair sometime in 1980!
I wish I had seen Slade, but I side see Twisted Sister at Newcastle Mayfair in 82 and Wasp .Randy Piper and Chris Holme's guitar playing on sleepingin the fire was out of this world. But Dave Hill was one of the most underrated guitarists ever and Zal Cleminson is outrigh one of the best ever. VAMBO ROOL OK.
I love the way they charge it from love smell on you're sheet to Honey with you're meat. For Shang a Lang. You have to be older to know it means the same thing. Ingenious and live.

I listen to this song (or remember it I suppose) about once a year. Today was that day and this is about my 20th time listening to it. I will get sick of it, and will listen to it again a year from now. Just makes me bounce, think and jump. And I love how "indifferent" the drummer is.

Boy oh boy the memories, 1975, saw Slade at Manchester bellevue, April 29th I think. Remember they wore same outfits, saw this in a neighbours house cuz we couldn't get the channel. WOW, SLADE

Правильно мыслишь, товарищ. Остаётся только пожалеть тебя за то, что поздно открыл для себя лучшую в мире группу.
As an American whose dad was stationed in England ‘73 to ‘76 I came home with a few lifelong loves: Dad’s Army, Slade, and Football.
Holder and Lea didn't write songs. They wrote anthems that stuck in your head, FOREVER...
I lov you Noddy, just phenomal your voice
