I drove out to the small but interesting coastal village of Heysham, Lancashire.
I'm looking forward to some big adventures this year.

As a Lancashire Lass, and a lover of Morecambe bay , I’m ashamed to say I have lost count of the number of times I have driven passed signs for Heysham on my way to Arnside, Grange or Silverdale . Not any more. I feel the need for a bit of a day trip. Thanks for sharing. x

Didn't know any of that history. When we think of Heysham all we know is the power station and ferry. So we have to say, thankypi for taking us along and the history x

It really is a beautiful little church and stunning location looking out across Morecambe Bay. After a 1000 years of continuous worship in the building I hope it goes on for many more years, it would be a sad loss if not. Thanks for watching and safe travels x

Interesting tour showing all those ruins but the Viking rocks and grave from Black sabbath album certain drawn my attention. Nice little village and i basically liked the that hazy drive which created some sort of glowing effect. A complete new place for me! Thanks for sharing, Best wishes.

A very interesting video 👍. I've never really been into Black Sabbath (In the 70s, I was more into such as Led Zeppelin, Hawkwind, Arthur Brown, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard to name but a few 🤣 ) so would never have known about the album cover being Heysham
To say it’s only up the coast from me I can’t believe I never knew about it. It’s a little gem. I’ve never been into that sort of music I only found out about the album cover when reading up on the place for the vlog. Amazing what you find out! 😊

Hey Sue this was a lovely walk through the village and I loved the history on the Church and Chapel, so much history and the views all around were beautiful. Those graves that were there were fascinating to see where the crosses would have stood. Loved it and did I spot fish and chips in your hands at the end? 😀👍
