ya Anthony really bugging by saying migos didn't fit in the track. Offset has one of the best verses of the year with that track imo

I mean, I really like it. The groove is consistently tight, and while there are features that left a lot to be desired, overall it was a solid project. Probably about a 7-8 for me.

Honestly my album of the summer so far. Cash out is fucking amazing, Slide is dope and even the Travis Scott song is pretty tight. I even kinda like the Future track and Feels is another great one.
"Holiday" surprised me a lot when Takeoff came in and destroyed that last verse. I was surprised you didn't mention that in your review. That had to be one of my favorite verses on the entire project. From the old school "huh huh huh huh" and the easy flow he has the whole time. It was really great.

I personally thought they sounded good because of how different their appearances are musically from their normal stuff.

I really feel like the guests were a double edged sword and a pretty high risk piling artists after artists onto some tracks. That being said I think tracks like Rollin', Feels, and Slide really show that Harris possesses the ability to pull this off. Imo a light 6 for this funky beach record.

This album surprised me in a good way. Way to use different artists on the same song and it doesnt seem forced like Khaled's album. Hope Calvin keeps going in this direction and away from the pop/EDM/dance vibe.

I really liked the migos feature. I felt like offsets verse especially really just fit, despite hot their vocals are usually paires with way darker, more hard hitting beats.
Dang I wish there was an in depth review considering that this is my favorite album
(Also Heatstroke is probably my favorite song of the album but he says it's one of the weakest so take my opinion with a few grains of salt)

Ngl this review needs another listen from Mr. Fantano, this album grew more for me, it’s really good
I actually enjoyed Skrt on Me, mostly beacuase it's the closest that the mainstream will get to ACTUAL Dancehall. I thought that it had a really true Dancehall beat.
I liked a little more than half of the record so I was pleasantly surprised. Slide, Cash Out and Rollin is my shit. Heatstroke, Prayers Up & Holiday are enjoyable as well.
Faking it, Skrt On Me and Hard to Love is trash. Feels is ok.

Anthony does so many reviews where his main concern is that "this/that feature would work way better in this/that genre they're more accustomed to". I get that certain artists have a certain range, but why not judge the track for how the artist utilizes the song rather than how they'd sound better?!

Calvin's Instrumentals are great! The vocals sometimes are just awful detuned sh*t, that's why most of fans will not like album, but in general - it's super funky!

I think travis fit perfectly on prayers up. Hes done better melodically on the know no better edm banger from majer but this was decent aswell. As for migos, i thought they fit perfectly aswell honestly. Future and lil yahty were my gripes for the record. Along with the closing track being underwhelming.

I liked "Slide". Migos did great on the song in my opinion. I thought Nicki Minaj wasn't bad with the autotune on her song "Skrt On Me" I actually liked the song. Overall I thought it was a great album, I just didn't like the last song on the album called "Hard To Love"
