Is Church a Cult?

God is not a tyrant. But we can make Him into one in our own minds when we set ourselves at odds with His best desires for our lives.
When we lack understanding when it comes to the ways of Jesus, it can be more difficult to submit to them. If we look at the world around us, the ways of Jesus prove themselves to us in the form of blessings on communities where His laws are set above personal agendas or personal ideologies.
📖 Proverbs 14:11-14
The house of the wicked will be destroyed,
but the tent of the upright will flourish.
There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.
Even in laughter the heart may ache,
and the end of joy may be grief.
The backslider in heart will be filled with the fruit of his ways,
and a good man will be filled with the fruit of his ways.
