From my own experience this is what I can say.. 1. Otos - Best suited for smaller tanks and is best to keep in large numbers. Too sensitive. 2. SAEs - Very good algae eater but only whe n small. Once it is above 4 inches it just stops eating algae and competes with other fish for food. 3. Chinese or golden algae eater - Worst rowdy. Never have more than one and even then is very aggressive towards other fishes. Goes after any food in the tank and not just algae. But like Francis bro said is one of the best algae eater. 4. Bristle nose pleco - Best all rounder. Has worked for me in lot of different setups. Doesn't get too big either. Don't confuse it with common pleco which gets massive in size. 5. Amano shrimps or ghost shrimps - Similar to Otos and is very efficient for heavily planted setups. Will molt regularly so needs slightly hard water. Performs role of cleanup crew in the tank too unlike most other specialist algae eaters. 6. Flag tail prochilodus - The best algae eater for monster fish tanks. Can hold its own against aggressive monsters. Have had this with big oscars and other South American cichlids. 7. Gold fish - Yes, these are technically an algae eater too but not very good. Did wonders for my duck weed problem and can help a little bit with stringy algae. 8. Black Molly - Best weapon against hair algae and did take care of some black beard algae for me. Not suited for hard algae types. Apart form these one of my friends used to have a high fin banded shark in his koi pond. He said it did good work clearing up his algae issues. I have also seen a tank where some tropheus were the algae eater! But this was a specialized setup and I would not recommend this for most ppl as they're very very aggressive.
Bro na oru 3ft tank vecheruka unga keta vija arjanteya Juvenal vanguna epo 3mnths agudhu but na adhuku 2spong filter mtum dha us pandra Andha fish epo 4 inch erukum Andha tankla adhu onu dha eruku ena best and cheap filter use panalam
Bro, water is green always. It's a new setup of semi planted tank around 5 months old. Tried reducing 2 hrs of light but no improvement. 20 % water changing every week. Have lava rocks, activated carbon and ceramic rings.
Bro... very nice. Real appreciation from me for your indepth knowledge and information. You are in different level. Love to see all your vedioes. Eager to see you soon.
It doesn’t but helps in aiding the algae .. by consuming the excess food which is settled in the bottom as a result the nitrate level reduces which can help i control over the algae
A perfect fish lovers will never miss a single video of yours sir....Hats of to you❤️❤️❤️
