Master
Thankyou😊
Perfect
Thank you!
Nice!
Thanks bro!
Great work. How did you know when to change it?
No specific timeline. Just based on the experience. The maker's recommendation is between 100,000 - 120,000km. From my experience, it runs normally up to 160,000km.
Great job mate 💪🏽 what’s the name of the song in this video plz?
Just a youtube copyright free bgm😂
Remix of Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Green Day
My Audi 100 has two belts i change them both whitin the hour
And I did it in 5 min😂
The camshaft locking tools and the design of how to lock the camshafts in each cylinder head is the worst I've ever come across. The grooves are just so shallow that the tools just want to fall out.
It took three of us to actually keep the camshafts locked while pulling the camshaft sprockets off using a puller in order to get the correct timing belt tension and then torquing the camshaft sprockets back up again.
What a nightmare.
Did you experience this as well?
I used a 6 mm drill bit, which has straight body. Does it make sense?
@@parkyoungmin3428 Do you mean you used a 6mm drill bit to lock the fuel pump?
@@nikamota Exactly. Anything with 6mm diameter fits in the hole.
@@parkyoungmin3428 привет, а каленвал не блокировали? Там в блоке двигателя есть отверстие для блокировки
on my 2.5 i marked the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets with white paint. i locked the injectionpump with a 6mm drillbit.
So you need to empty coolant and loose all air conditioning gas yo replace belt?? So much work foro what should be an easy task. Thats one of the reasons i dont own an Audi. The other one is i'm poor, hehe. Very good video!
Actually you don't have to do that uch work, you can have a better access just by putting the front end in "service positon" you undo the bumper, the impact absorbers and then you slide everything without touching coolant or the condensator for the AC. I did it on a 2005 A4 and it's even easier to do it like that than to do a timing belt on a narrow engine bay of a transverse engine
@@fiestamatic5736 thanks a lot!!
@@fiestamatic5736 on the 2.5 tdi there is still little space even with the front carrier in service position. however it is totaly do-able. i just wonder why he didn't replace the waterpump
Coolant only and I enjoyed the work😁
Thermostat, water pump, rollers, tensioner... lots of things missing there.
Hey guys, thanks for sharing this video with us ! I am now looking to change the timing belts (there are two I belive) on my vw passat 2.5 TDI.. Is there anything in particular you point out was tricky for you?
I watched 2 instruction videos several times to prepare every required tools and to remember the order. If you want, I can list it.
Bravo
@@parkyoungmin3428Great job.Can you post a link to instructions video you watched before you done pls.thnx

Only belts? Termostat, rollers?
Termo and rollers as well😎
@@parkyoungmin3428 what about the waterpump? most VAG kits include the waterpump.
Wie viel Stunden hat es gedauert ?
Ca.3Std😁
Time ?
It took 2.5hours in total.
This was not much help!
This is not to show how it works, only to show what I did! You can find the instruction video in the description!
