Since it is also a multiplayer game, I would guess that you can create the character. Otherwise there would be 4 of the same ones running around. At 4:52 everyone has a mask on, but you can still see slight differences. But it's all just a guess!

Graphics when viewed in 4k, jittery, very bland textures - I hope the graphics get a bit of an overhaul and optimisations for a smooth experience. Otherwise, interesting. Will follow game progression.
I also saw some screen tearing in the video. This looks like my type of game so I'm hoping they can work out all the bugs before it leaves early access.
