Präzise und zugleich bezaubernde Interpretation dieses kompakten Meisterwerks mit perfekt synchronisierten und gut harmonisierten Töne aller Instrumente. Bestimmt eine ideale Kombination der höchsten Technik und der angeborenen Lyrik. Solch eine perfekte Aufführung könnte nie im 21. Jahrhundert widerholt werden. Einfach wunderbar!
The Borodin Quartet is my favorite of all time. Here, the Andantino is so well played!

For me the greatest quartettists are Mozart and Shostakovitch; the criterion which separates them from other composers of string quartets is the sense of discovery: that here in the world are these poems written in invisible ink, and with the lights of these musical intelligences (M's and S's) these poems are illuminated for the rest of us to experience: they make the unheard heard!
