Is that why the fan works so hard ? I find the fan noise intrusive but this is the first laptop which I have bought with the SSD drive and better Intel processor. Maybe all of the laptops with a specification at this level may work the fan so hard !
This is exactly correct. Talking here from 7 years of experience with hp g5 250 bought in 2017. I still use it to this day for long gaming hours. My perfect solution is a laptop vacuum air cooler. The laptop almost never overheats and that gadgets saved its life to this day.

can you tell anything more about the battery? like, if you use the laptop for work only, for example for writing on microsoft word or editing a pdf, and watching a 3-4 minutes video every hour to take a break, on the same settings you described (50% luminosity, balanced), how long will it last?
its possible to last 7 hours and more, how many apps its installed on windows in background, it can fall over time to 6 to 4 hours, depending by video quality wifi speed etc

resolution is not to low, but full hd 1920x1080 is average at the best, the best monitors usually have 3840x2160, but you can still complete project with g9....

When I want to enjoy sound (music) I connect by Bluetooth to a ue BOOM 2, which gives a lovely experience. So happy with this present!

Mine has an IPS screen 16/9. The only issue I see in this laptop is the power brick cause is at...knifes edge... and it will fail real soon.

it depends if you use it for work or play, intel has better support for adobe apps, but for gaming go with ryzen

yes it can work fine with 2024 auto cad, but it all depends how big projects are, so it best to have at least 16gb ram for optimal processing.
