Everything is potentially injurious if it’s not within or close to exceeding your current capability. This issue I have with the 90/90 stretch is just getting into the position does exceed or gets dangerously close to exceeding the capability of many typical personal training clients. With the meniscus certainly being one are I think could fall victim to. Hence why I think the 90/90 stretch is overused/overrated by many trainers.
@TheTrainerOfTrainers I was doing a lot of 90 90 hip rotations in the weeks leading up to my meniscus injury. That's why I asked. I think it may well have contributed to the injury. Thanks for your video!

It def can be a problem for FAI because the position of the front leg can be uncomfortable. So, another variation might be better in such cases.
