@@tomandrews2912 Nope, that's a genuine accent with no acting. Narrator grew up in both England and the US. The longer in the US the less of the English accent is retained. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the kind words. The LHD seen in the video is CUP's LHD. Lately we've been using the Atlas LHD mod. Both have issues of players 'falling' through the deck though :(
@@Coldfront15 This sounds great So basically a trigger would cover the entire deck that disables falling! Beats trying to build fake floors under the deck! Thanks!
I have a really bad mic so I'm not sure i can join up with you guys, I want to but my schedule is a little weird and my mic is horrible if it even works. I'm also very new to ArmA and PC gaming in general, and not sure id be of much help. I'll try and join, see how it goes, but my limited time and lack of experience and a good mic idk how well it'll go.
Thank you for reaching out! We need members to be able to attend 3 out of 4 Sundays. If we start with that, its not a big deal if they miss a few. But if your schedule doesn't allow for that, then we wouldn't be the group for you. If the schedule looks good, you could swing by our discord and we could hear you and your mic and take it from there. Don't about Arma skills, we look more for maturity and the right fit rather uber players :)
@@1AAFilms Sunday happens to be the day I am able to consistently get on at least once for at least two hours unless I have family stuff! I play in two hour increments as to limit my playtime. I dont always get a full two hours on weekdays but I do get two, two hour increments on Saturdays and Sundays unless I do t have school, then I can have the 4 hours on a weekday. With big ops, I may be able to explain to my Dad that "hey, we have a big thing going on and I dont want to leave in the middle of it" or just ask if I can start around the time the op does so I am there the full duration. Its possible with the schedule, just a bit difficult on my end. I also am planning to join the Air Force Irl, and im using ArmA as a Milsim to learn how the military would work for me. I hope to do drone pilot stuff for you guys, as that's my goal irl on what I want to do. If there's a discord I can join or something that'd help me communicate any issues I have, things going on etc. I love playing support roles as combat can be a bit difficult for me usually. In short, I'll give it a try, and see if I can form my schedule to work with the community standards. If not, then its just not the group for me ig, but I need some place to start and you guys seem new player friendly.
I also do plan on buying a better mic soon, but I also only have about 3-4 months until I go off to the airforce, so BootCamp will be a long away time for me, but I'll likely rejoin when able, see how it goes and all that stuff.
@@1AAFilms That would be a bit late in the day for a full 4 hours of play, as that would be 6pm, and i go to bed at 10pm my time. Gotta love timezones sometimes. Guess I should start looking for other groups, as the timezone issue will be by far the biggest problem for me. Thanks for the opportunity though, maybe when I'm living on my own it may be possible, hard to say.

i can orbit the moon and rescue people in space but i cant land a plane... any chance arma gets space stuff like kerbal in it? imagine space force battles like that.. on other planets.. but its a real simulator not an arcady game.. these two games should combine forces.. arma and kerbal.. its amazing.. what do space battles even look like? officially theyve never even happened right or was moonraker a true story? i mean there are a lot of things private militaries have done that i dont know about.. the only reason i know about them is mgsv. so i assume all kinds of things have happened in space...
lol Yeah, 3rd person is pretty good when you play PVP mods on vanilla, but then you start playing PVP without 3rd person and all change man, make all pretty immersive. Look for a PVP group, and give it a try

Your unit looks organised, good luck!
This is insanely professional
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!

If i could afford a gaming pc I would be begging to join, it seems like the good old navy days, well without the water
iam just askin cause these videos look fantastic and i just want to know whats the mod you use for the LHD ships

WOW. I was pumped about possibly getting involved and then you said NO 3rd person. You lost me right away. Its the reason I play this game.
That’s the beauty of Arma, everyone playing the the game their way! We enjoy forced first person on foot. Thanks for watching the video.
