Never trust weather forecasts. I have noticed in some places locally it can get much colder. One time when i was out, it was forecasted 40F but it got to 20F, i only brought my summer sleeping bag with me.

I think it was a wolf spider or cousin of. Maybe a lake spider? I don't think the brown is that meaty. And the brown has a fiddle design on its abdomen which would be impossible to see in this dark video.

Unlikely. Only sparse pioneer settlements in E Ohio prior to 1800. The proximity to the Ohio river, but no major pre-interstate roads or towns would tend to indicate a wealthy land owner who could afford the labor to perform serious landscaping projects. The cost of labor was relatively high prior to the Civil War, and relatively low afterwards. I'd guess late 19th century.
