Thanks you so much for this! It was one, if not the only, video on youtube where the job and tasks are actually being described. This gave me great insight.
I’m about to finish high school in France 🇫🇷 and I’ve been thinking about digital marketing but once I’ve seen your video, there’s no dought I’ll choose this career !
not very much frim my full time job. i have a few virtual calls a day and thats about it. the rest of my social interactions is from lash clients, friends & family
Hello Erin, I completed a 12-month social media management course, two Google certificates in digital marketing and SEO, and two three-month internships focused on design and community management( all in total 3 month internship) despite limited hands-on experience in this field , do you think I could transition into a role as a digital media manager specializing in paid media?"
how much do you earn as a digital marketer if you don’t mind me asking? and how were you able to land a job doing this? do you need a four year degree? I am interested in this career but don’t know if it is worth getting a 4 year degree since i’ve done research and the average salary is around 40k which is probably not enough to live comfortably in socal, which is where i live now.
Starting out is typically $40,000 but once you have experience it can become a 6 figure career! I would suggest doing it if you find the tasks interesting, otherwise it will most likely become dull. I was lucky in my situation to have a connection with someone who was hiring for a Digital Marketing Specialist at the time I was looking to apply.
@@xerindavisx ohh ok. what program was it? if you don’t mind me asking. and did you have to learn anything outside of that program in order to get the skills needed in order to get a job? since your program wasnt specific to digital marketing but marketing in general i’m guessing?sorry about all the questions, i really appreciate you taking time to respond :)
it was advertising and marketing communications. a lot of what we were taught applies but i have done a ton of training at work with specific tools, and things that are needed. we still do ongoing training up to now
I love finding more UA-camrs who work in digital marketing! My focus right now is SEO & PPC.
so cool! i find seo so interesting
