Just gonna add some info for this video:
- Wishing lantern passive procs for every 800 dmg (calcs before dmg reduction too), but it does it in a way that you can deal 400 dmg twice, and it still procs it. And if you deal 1600 dmg, then you proc passive twice instantly, so this item is excellent for chipping down high hp + it has cdr too. It's good for countering armor items too, cuz dmg scales on current HP and calcs predmg reduction. Especially excellent item for Harley, since Harley can take down enemy hp down fast and then wishing lantern dmg goes into his ult second hit. You can name many heroes that gonna use this item well, but at the same time it's mid if enemy doesn't have a lot of armor/hp or if you burst enemy too fast, so the current hp dmg is low (kinda DHS trinity problem, ez to get health down, hard to finish) + u need to deal good enough dmg yourself to proc it at much as possible, so I'd say it's like good for 3rd-5th item, you should build it in late together with divine glaive to fuck tanks completely.
- Twilight Armor wasn't mentioned I think (unless I'm high), and is also disgusting, cuz dmg reduction has no cooldown, so high hp heroes/hp scalers have finally quite good option vs hp based damage (pretty much every time your enemy deals 800+ dmg, it gets reduced by like 350+ at least, which on more hits is quite a lot of reduction, so yeah another good item to build. Hylos is also gonna benefit from it btw, so Hylos might be meta pick or rg spam abuse at least lmfao)
- Queen Wings has old unbending will passive built in it + decent dmg reduction, so every sustain fighter using war axe should go queen wings.
- New glowing wand and already existing sea halberd outshine dom ice, so most of time tanks should rush smth else rn instead of antiheal. Which is good, considering dom ice stats and passive after armor changes feel slightly dogshit + you can ignore attacking tank with dom ice and anti doesn't trigger so supports like Estes Floryn get full heal for themselves if they don't attack tank...
- CoD might be decent on Edith too btw but not sure bout that one lol, although stats look good, the only waste is mana passive ig
- I am not sure about this one but item passives and smth like lethal ignition can proc skypiercer I think, so it syncs well with these ig, but yeah, doesn't change the fact that on 90% of heroes it's second item, it's better to rush your first core item (or good tier1 like fury hammer at least) so you get good enough dmg at lvl 4, and then if you snowball, you build skypiercer, if not, you build diff item, building this item first is fucking gamble, unless you know what you are doing and you can predict that you will snowball without dying, cuz if you die, you get no stats 💀 (talking about assassins in this case, it might be excellent 1st item for heroes that can abuse underrated mov spd of this item, that honestly shouldn't be there, but as of heroes with already good mobility, this item is just gamble)
- Malefic gun might be smh ok for Wanwan in rg ☠️

@@aeea3306that would be funny as heck but when you play a roamer, I don't think thunder belt is good simply for how hard it is for them to stack up this item. (Although I think Chip would benefit from this thanks to his 1st skill enhanced basic attack)

I like to go sky piercer and thunder belt for the first two items on exp benne. I agree sky piercer may not be a justifiable replacement for a core item. But since many benne users already didn’t build boots at all even before this patch, these two items give movement speed, help secure kills to get ahead early, and makes you reasonably sustainable late game without sacrificing any damage since sky piercer is really just replacing boots

U can actually build sky piercer first on heroes who use blade of heptaseas or hunterstrike.
Hear me out, the power of sky piercer is it's ridiculously cheap price and it's good passive for heroes (most likely damage junglers) to have that huge early game advantage.
Fury hammer costs 830 and sky piercer costs 1,500, so in total of buying those 2 items you need 2,330 compared to hunterstrike's 2,010 price and blade of heptaseas' 1,950 price
I know it costs a little more but in return:
1. It gives 95 physical attack + 12 phys pen with a good passive for snowball potential and that extra +15 movement speed, compared to hunterstrike only giving 80 physical attack + 15 phys pen
2. When building fury hammer + sky piercer in the early game gives you more damage than currently building hunterstrike because hunterstrike's item components like iron hunting bow gives low attack while sky piercer's components (expert gloves) gives 30 attack
All in all fury hammer + sky piercer is meta changing in terms of item builds as this will most likely replace the builds for heroes who likes to have heptaseas and hunterstrike in their first items to fury hammer + sky piercer instead
And you can always sell it late game if the game doesn't go in your favor and you have low stacks on it.

To complete boots you need to spend 450 more gold. Now imagine, building skypiercer gives only 5 less movement speed than fully built boots. legion sword costs 910. 910+450=1360. For 140 more gold you build almost the 2nd half of the boots, get legion swords dmg and stackable execute passive

Sky piercer as a third item for clint is quite OP. I consistenty got maniac or savage with these early to mid game 3 core items.. heptaseas, endless battle and sky piercer. Now if you build BOD next and with enough stacks, you are literally oneshotting squishy heroes.
When using Silvanna 3 skill combo on no-defense hero in the training arena, Wishing Lantern does a few hundred points more than Glowing Wand. Add Athena Shield to the damage bot, WL does almost 1k more damage. Add Radiant Armor on top, WL does 2k more damage. So I would say any Silvanna user should prefer Wishing Lantern to Glowing Wand unless you prefer 5% movement speed to 10% CDR. From my experience, Silvanna skill 2 removes HP so fast that medium tier shield and HP regen is almost nothing.
I agree Winter Crown is really good. I tried it on Silvanna Tank Build and it made Silvanna a setup master.
You might want to try Gloo with Clock of Destiny. I think with this item, you don't need to use common emblem anymore because of the mana it provides and the gift passive. Plus, since Gloo constantly uses his 1st skill on enemy heroes, it's easier to stack up the passive making him even more of a menace in laning and clashes.

I agree. Sky Piercer shouldn't be a first item priority. i'd say second or third.
The cost benefit isnt enough to rush this. Especially since we're still in the early phases of the game where that hp and defensive items arent built yet. Raw Damage/Penetration will still be better. that 6-12% execute threshold only becomes extremely effective later in the mid to late game.
I think sky piercer would be a good item for finishers or assassin roams first priority. I.e Saber, Helcurt, Natalie. They need the early kill stacks to help them with the late and mid game. Hence i agree with you in building this item when 'behind'. Technically sin roams are always behind because gold is not funnelling to them and they need items as well.
Raw Damage / Penetration will still outshine when no defenses are being built. But only when defensive items are built will this item really matter.
Now this is a comment that I fully agree on. Dealing damage is easier on early game with Assassin Roamers who really like to 1v1 squishies. That Sky Piercer being cheap plus dire hit plus fury hammer (plus execute if you use one) is really good for them to be able to secure more kills.
I just ban Valir and pick Hylos, been 7 games this season. 100% winrate and 3 MVPs. I knew he was gonna get the indirect buff he needed for the longest time. 💪🏻 The no-cc tank everyone avoided picking is now getting some unintended love.

i think thunderbelt is a really bad item on most tanks, because they need the survivability/utility provided by items like dom ice and building thunderbelt delays this.

Thunder belt's passive effect is reduced by 50% for mages and mm, and Esme is classified as mage, so does that mean it's not recommended on her?
She has the tank roll though, i think it'll work for as well for edith
Wishing lantern and glowing wand is absolutely broken on natan. They said they nerfed him but it was more like an adjustment. His combos already bit a huge chunk of hp of tanks before and now he is like a mage karrie but way way better because his skills bite your hp off as well.
Isnt malefic's range increase seperate from layla's skill 1 range increase? I've seen videos where with skill 1 and malefic gun it results in 2 attack range

cecilion can build glowing wand, ive used it myself on him in some games

Sky Piercer is good if you know that you can snowball. Its very specific, a high risk and high reward item. If you think that you will not get kills within 3-5 minutes, forget about it. And even if you are snowballing, but went into late game, swap it for some core item.

Xavier can benefit from the lantern when he is spamming his skills, although I won't buy it earlierp, just my 4th item or even situational
