Ngl, it was a smart move by Tig to deal with Sun. Sun can literally take full advantage of the trinity build, and topping off the fact he has a healer he can easily remove 2 out of the 4 tanks on Beto's team. Very stupidly dumb of the enemy team to not pick Karrie, even if they weren't gonna win, the would've definitely been able to make the game a lot more challenging.

I've played in a '5 man roam' team quite a few times and i have to tell you it was fun. one time we had Mino as the jungler, Johnson as Magic dmg dealer and Edith as the mm. Though i want to say, try this with a team that is 100% trusted and you're comfortable with 😂
I saw a funny video where a team went 5-man tank in one lane only, they broke every turret straight to base from there and ended the game in 3:42 seconds. Granted, it must have been low elo lobby, but it was hilarous how 5-tanks didn't even need to go back to base and just keep pushing to the end.
RSG really learned the "Call an ambulance! Call an ambulance!!! But not for me" in the worst possible way..... They will surely have to learn that in pro tournaments, one gotta respect their opponent teams for even getting up to that stage and not get high upon thinking any game would go very easy..

Idk what they were complaining about draft wise though. Sure it may not be the best but it’s better than all marksmen since the tanks in question have some viability straying from the tanky role and going more dmg like atlas.

Tbh, this composition isnt bad at all. Kaja could've been the fighter or the gold laner with a dmg build, Atlas could've been the mage with the same tank build and so on and so forth. Loads of set ups given to Cyclops, and not to mention the amount of protection he could get. Only one hero could've countered ALL of that and the enemies didn't thought of that smh

I love playing roamer with Diggie. He is so perfect for it because you can keep every bush revealed and seriously disrupt the enemy team. I've been thinking about coming back, but I have a feeling it'll just be the same thing, bunch of solo que disappointing trolls for teammates and a long push up to mythical horror.
I love playing him against assassins, it's quite fun deleting enemy assassin's instantly or force them to buy Athena's shield so they're damage is less.
As a high mythic Cyclops myself, watching Beto just makes me feel like a noob. His micro positioning and timing of those micro transitions are just INSANE. That one moment where he holds lord agro but quickly positions to transition into a potential gank. He times his arrival back to hold agro to the pixel of it resetting, it is just not human... By itself it might not seem like much, but those stacking efficiencies make a big difference by the end of the match. Similar examples can be seen in his combat, tiny micro-movements to avoid dmg whilst simultaneously laying the smackdown. Even the "mistakes" or trades happen in a way that is favorable to the team. Hats off man. Inspirational stuff.

That Singapore Grandfinal really teaches alot. Being confident is good but not over confident. The over confident moment from RSG SG clearly shows how it back fired them. From just 1 hit away from being crowned as champion, turns to be the worst tragedy for them when Team Flash reverse sweep the next games to be crowned as a new champion for SG. Even myself, I can't digest that mistake moment and the end result of the grandfinal. I really don't know how Team RSG SG face it. Moral of the story, end the game before celebrating the victory ✌️ 😅

any junglers with K/D ratio less than 3.0 is just not good. I played jungle on my last ranked game and despite the generous score the game gave me, I realize I'm underperforming because I spent the last 8 minutes of the game dying unnecessarily. So yes, that Natalia should take a chill pill and derank graciously, because 12/8/2 is a score I usually see from a gold laner who plays without a roamer nearby, not an assassin jungler.

Honestly speaking whenever I try to jungle and someone shows their win rate and it's higher than mine, I just let them jungle no matter what my previous match kda was, people need to understand high win rate is more better than a good kda from previous match
same, badges don't even convince me most of the time, unless they're like Supreme, because MMR can be gained through sheer persistence in using the same hero over and over again even with just 50% wr.

Everyone doing solo Q : We need Tanks ! The Tanks : Jokes aside, i think its important to pick your best hero, when you are forced to pick a role that you know isnt for you. Just adjust your play, lane and gears accordingly.. S5 probably knew he isnt cut out for MM, so he picked his hero, and adjust on side lane. Which is a wise decision.
Imo. Should have tig be exp cus unlike mino, all of his skills does dmg. U can fairly poke the enemy. I tried exp tig b4. Pretty funny n fun. So mino benefit the roamer role in this game as he can heal allies especially if kaja going full dmg which is quite squishy. Atlas can be mid as he's faster rotating for ganks. He can just buy the small cursed helm item for faster mid clear n be mindful of cc.
I've seen meme builds with atlas going full magic dmg. Idk how viable it would have been here, but I believe with mino as the main roam-setter, tig handling the exp, and kaja for single pick-offs, magic atlas could have been viable

Multiple tanks is surprisingly effective if the enemies dont counter with true dmg. Ive lost several games to 5 man tank cheese. And even won several with my team as either 5 mage or 5 support. Sometimes, you just gotta have fun with it.

If we can kill them all, we can just end the game" Man you can't imagine how many games I've lost because my teammates decided to do the lord when the enemies are down to 1 or 2 or even wipe out while we are all alive One match it was a wipe out and the first one to respown had 30s. All the enemies' towers were destroyed and instead of pushing to end they decided to do the lord. I was the roamer and tried to push alone but just couldn't and we lost the game at the end
1 or 2 tanky enemies I think karrie works fine,, but 4? karrie has no AoE passive or skill that can handle that many tanks. She could melt one or two, but no more than that in a 5v5, since surely the cc from the roamers will overwhelm their backline. The best the enemies could have picked would be valir/luo yi for mage, then probably a hanabi trinity build. Hanabi may not melt a tanky enemy as fast as karrie, but the stable dps from her basic attacks that also works as AoE thanks to her passive can wipe the fight clean. She also has her anti-cc to hold her ground.
Problem with solo-Q most player are so quick to lose hope. no mm/tank/mage and they think they will lose for sure. They'd rather blame each other throughout match than focusing on playing. Regardless of what hero you choose, it's still a 5v5 match
I think for an old player having an 87% Winrate is decent, especially on a really old hero, that was when the game still had balancing. Now getting 50% Winrate is already decent especially for a SoloQ.
For real tho, out of the 20 or so games that me and my friends played with 4 roams and one glass cannon, we havent even lost once. And this is in mythic honor
Of all the troll comps, having 4 heroes who are best played as roamer is more viable than 4 mm's bc they have the skills to make it easier for you to deal your dmg to the enemy adc' and they can also act as frontliners, and it's even better if the jungler your using is a mix of dps/burst can sustain like Cyclops. But if the mage role is the only one open and the jungler is Fredrinn and the rest is all tanks/support roamers, I think Yve (and prob Xavier, Pharsa, Valir and Novaria) can also complement that strat since they can help land your skills with their cc and they can protect you with whatever skills they have to make sure you are alive, albeit godly heals, strong cc like airborne or suppression, or even map control.
I think Chang e is pretty good mage with a mostlytanky team comp, Freddy's annoying cc chain can make it easier for her to land all of her ult and not just some of it.

@@BreakingBaldFrFr Usually for Saber, he will roam around and check bush, where he gets some his kills thr. If he’s exp, he’ll camp behind the enemy turret and finish up when the mm couldn’t. saber roam is gd when the enemy hav squishies.

Honestly im ok if anyone in my team want to play cyc jungler,but what im afraid its a another team mate attitude toward my cyc jungler,with recent buff,a bit low mana comsumption for first skill at all lvl and extra movement speed increase to 50% for 1 second before decay for another second ,cyc jungler in early game much improve
I mean, The draft could work. You can always build magic damage kaja for burst, hit and run kind of strat. Not sure about mino and tigreal, but you can place atlas in exp if your opponent is sun and have atlas build fleeting time early. Not sure if it would work tho 😅. Also, you can put cyclops in gold lane since cyclops is basically a late game dps. Put kaja in mid with mage build and mino jungle since I've seen the mino tank jungle meta before and tigreal eventually ends up as a roamer. This is the draft I had I mind lol, it's not very effective, but it's playable.
No matter if u got 100% wr with 1000 games, the ego of this moba players ive never seen it in 10 years of League before. And the fact that there is no elo makes it so hard to climb...
Hey Beto, would you mind doing a lil tier list? But....not a full one. Sorta. I wanna see picks n counters tier list vs one hitters, and tanky comps. Maybe healers too. If I'm playing ranked solo, I prefer to let others pick first, so it's easier to counter. Be nice to have an easy reference video.
People who counter one hitters are ones that can 1 shot, such as eudora or lunox big damage, ones who can chase very well like mathilds fanny or if you're not good fanny any hero with good mobility should be enough too, and hard CC heros who will stun thr enemies easily like franco and kaja. For exp lane i think martis and maybe thamuz is good against hit and go style. Also i just realized you meant hard hitters not hit and go style heros....

Honestly, 4, even 5-man roam/support team is a viable strategy if you’ve got good composition. You have many options of tanks and supports now you’ll have fun with the game playing such handicap. I suggest an edith gold, Tigreal exp, an angela or alice mid, core can be barats or minotaur, and a cc tank like franco, belerick or atlas. I promise you, such comp is too much to a disorganised enemy team, much more in soloQ, but don’t take it to endgame as you’ll have a hard time ending it.
NGL the moment I saw a Cyclop jungle with 4 tanks I already know this is gonna be easy match. Tigreal can decently clear a lane to prevent massive gank. Atlas if bought molten essence can clear decently as well albeit not as great. Mino and Kaja can counter-gank pretty well. Also Kaja can shutdown Miya or Harley. Atlas also if he plays smarty. A lot of ganking options. A lot of protections for Cyclop. Hence, getting kills is crucial for Cyclops.
I must say, I was there watching mpl sg live, all the audience can't even believe what had happened in front of our eyes, everyone shout so loud like that is the most terrible moment of RSG for sure.. it would be last forever

I love playing him against assassins, it's quite fun deleting enemy assassin's instantly or force them to buy Athena's shield so they're damage is less.

Betosky's gameplay always makes me realize how much I love ML and playing. He made me love tanking too, because he made it sound so cool.
As a high mythic Cyclops myself, watching Beto just makes me feel like a noob. His micro positioning and timing of those micro transitions are just INSANE. That one moment where he holds lord agro but quickly positions to transition into a potential gank. He times his arrival back to hold agro to the pixel of it resetting, it is just not human... By itself it might not seem like much, but those stacking efficiencies make a big difference by the end of the match. Similar examples can be seen in his combat, tiny micro-movements to avoid dmg whilst simultaneously laying the smackdown. Even the "mistakes" or trades happen in a way that is favorable to the team. Hats off man. Inspirational stuff.

That Singapore Grandfinal really teaches alot. Being confident is good but not over confident. The over confident moment from RSG SG clearly shows how it back fired them. From just 1 hit away from being crowned as champion, turns to be the worst tragedy for them when Team Flash reverse sweep the next games to be crowned as a new champion for SG. Even myself, I can't digest that mistake moment and the end result of the grandfinal. I really don't know how Team RSG SG face it. Moral of the story, end the game before celebrating the victory ✌️ 😅

any junglers with K/D ratio less than 3.0 is just not good. I played jungle on my last ranked game and despite the generous score the game gave me, I realize I'm underperforming because I spent the last 8 minutes of the game dying unnecessarily.
So yes, that Natalia should take a chill pill and derank graciously, because 12/8/2 is a score I usually see from a gold laner who plays without a roamer nearby, not an assassin jungler.
I love when you play cyclops. You are why i started playing him and he was my unrivaled-main-pick to get mythic for the first time.

Jokes aside, i think its important to pick your best hero, when you are forced to pick a role that you know isnt for you. Just adjust your play, lane and gears accordingly..

Imo. Should have tig be exp cus unlike mino, all of his skills does dmg. U can fairly poke the enemy. I tried exp tig b4. Pretty funny n fun. So mino benefit the roamer role in this game as he can heal allies especially if kaja going full dmg which is quite squishy. Atlas can be mid as he's faster rotating for ganks. He can just buy the small cursed helm item for faster mid clear n be mindful of cc.
I've seen meme builds with atlas going full magic dmg. Idk how viable it would have been here, but I believe with mino as the main roam-setter, tig handling the exp, and kaja for single pick-offs, magic atlas could have been viable
Even without cursed helmet, Atlas has pretty decent lane clearing speed. I tried full damage mid lane Atlas and it turned out pretty good.

Multiple tanks is surprisingly effective if the enemies dont counter with true dmg. Ive lost several games to 5 man tank cheese. And even won several with my team as either 5 mage or 5 support. Sometimes, you just gotta have fun with it.

Man you can't imagine how many games I've lost because my teammates decided to do the lord when the enemies are down to 1 or 2 or even wipe out while we are all alive
One match it was a wipe out and the first one to respown had 30s. All the enemies' towers were destroyed and instead of pushing to end they decided to do the lord. I was the roamer and tried to push alone but just couldn't and we lost the game at the end
4 tanks; 3 with CC; 1 with suppression: SHEESH. Sounds like a nightmare to deal with

Imagine if the opponent have heroes like alpha and karrie, this would probably turn into a completely different story
Elgin had a game with 5 tanks the enemy picked Karrie but they still won the difference is it was 5 men not Soloq .
1 or 2 tanky enemies I think karrie works fine,,
but 4? karrie has no AoE passive or skill that can handle that many tanks. She could melt one or two, but no more than that in a 5v5, since surely the cc from the roamers will overwhelm their backline.
The best the enemies could have picked would be valir/luo yi for mage, then probably a hanabi trinity build. Hanabi may not melt a tanky enemy as fast as karrie, but the stable dps from her basic attacks that also works as AoE thanks to her passive can wipe the fight clean. She also has her anti-cc to hold her ground.
Problem with solo-Q most player are so quick to lose hope. no mm/tank/mage and they think they will lose for sure. They'd rather blame each other throughout match than focusing on playing. Regardless of what hero you choose, it's still a 5v5 match

I think for an old player having an 87% Winrate is decent, especially on a really old hero, that was when the game still had balancing. Now getting 50% Winrate is already decent especially for a SoloQ.

Of all the troll comps, having 4 heroes who are best played as roamer is more viable than 4 mm's bc they have the skills to make it easier for you to deal your dmg to the enemy adc' and they can also act as frontliners, and it's even better if the jungler your using is a mix of dps/burst can sustain like Cyclops. But if the mage role is the only one open and the jungler is Fredrinn and the rest is all tanks/support roamers, I think Yve (and prob Xavier, Pharsa, Valir and Novaria) can also complement that strat since they can help land your skills with their cc and they can protect you with whatever skills they have to make sure you are alive, albeit godly heals, strong cc like airborne or suppression, or even map control.
I think Chang e is pretty good mage with a mostlytanky team comp, Freddy's annoying cc chain can make it easier for her to land all of her ult and not just some of it.

I mean, The draft could work. You can always build magic damage kaja for burst, hit and run kind of strat. Not sure about mino and tigreal, but you can place atlas in exp if your opponent is sun and have atlas build fleeting time early. Not sure if it would work tho 😅.
Also, you can put cyclops in gold lane since cyclops is basically a late game dps. Put kaja in mid with mage build and mino jungle since I've seen the mino tank jungle meta before and tigreal eventually ends up as a roamer. This is the draft I had I mind lol, it's not very effective, but it's playable.

that’s the build not the hero tier list
People who counter one hitters are ones that can 1 shot, such as eudora or lunox big damage, ones who can chase very well like mathilds fanny or if you're not good fanny any hero with good mobility should be enough too, and hard CC heros who will stun thr enemies easily like franco and kaja. For exp lane i think martis and maybe thamuz is good against hit and go style.
Also i just realized you meant hard hitters not hit and go style heros....

Honestly, 4, even 5-man roam/support team is a viable strategy if you’ve got good composition. You have many options of tanks and supports now you’ll have fun with the game playing such handicap. I suggest an edith gold, Tigreal exp, an angela or alice mid, core can be barats or minotaur, and a cc tank like franco, belerick or atlas. I promise you, such comp is too much to a disorganised enemy team, much more in soloQ, but don’t take it to endgame as you’ll have a hard time ending it.

NGL the moment I saw a Cyclop jungle with 4 tanks I already know this is gonna be easy match.
Tigreal can decently clear a lane to prevent massive gank. Atlas if bought molten essence can clear decently as well albeit not as great.
Mino and Kaja can counter-gank pretty well. Also Kaja can shutdown Miya or Harley. Atlas also if he plays smarty.
A lot of ganking options. A lot of protections for Cyclop. Hence, getting kills is crucial for Cyclops.
