I clicked on this video because I saw the title said torture/durability test. Now I'm sitting here, not only impressed, but dumbfounded that it held up that long. I also now see what torture test meant.
Lol. I knew I was gonna destroy it, but honestly instead of just destroying it straight from the beginning, I was like "how hard can I hurt this thing before it gives up?" I was honestly expecting after like 3 whacks with the tree loppers that either the blades would split in half, the switch would come apart, the motor would short/spark, SOMETHING. But nope. I'm actually shocked. And it's not like this was a brand new fan either, this is AFTER 4 years of literal EVERY DAY, continuous use, on high, in one of the most stressful, grease-filled, dirty, hot environments imaginable, all while getting *ZERO circulation* and air around it. If I hadn't bent the frame, it would have still been good. I honestly think that if I had powerwashed the crap out of it and made it look brand new, it would have probably been a good fan. But after the world it's been thru, I didn't wanna keep using it in case it was close to catching on fire or something lol.
This is the first time I have done a "cheap fan smash" in....probably years honestly. I think the last one I did was still at my old house, so at least 2020.

@@isaac24 That thing’s the Maytag Dependable Care of box fans!
It felt like it!! 🤣🤣
These box fans I have seen at Home Depot during trips there and seeing the smash of box fans reminds me of some UA-camrs who did it.
