I bought two, and opened one. I put the cards from that in a binder. Top row grass deck, second row fire deck, and bottom row water deck and it looks great

Definitely prefer the Japanese cards over the English cards. Love the gold borders on the Japanese cards! Awesome video Chloe!

It's not even a contest, the Japanese cards look infinitely better than the English cards, and I say that as someone who doesn't collect Japanese. Why wouldn't they do the same thing for English? They charged hundreds more and they look boring.

Japanese gold borders on the starters are absolute 🔥 super cool. English looks too dull compared to japanese. 110% japanese ate the way even at a higher price tag its worth it way way cooler

Love the Japanese ones. Just hate that the Pokemon levels are printed next to the name whereas the English cards don’t have the level printed on the cards.

I like the Japanese cards but on a lot of them are a bit too blingy!! If you like the base set cards I think the English ties into that a bit more.
Both sets very nice. It would be good to see them in real life to have a better opinion

Feel like there's way too much holo on them, it overwhelms the actual Pokemon on it in a lot of cases. That said, as always, the Japanese cards are better.....
